Good support in a dance sneaker - I have foot and ankle problems--cartilage damage in the ankle, plantar faciatis, a very high arch, and that aging metatarsal lack of padding. This means I need a shoe that gives me good support, good arch support and padding under the ball of the foot. The Bloch dance sneaker does better than any other dance sneaker I tried. I don't really need my orthotics in them, tho they will allow me to use them if I choose. I use them for ballroom dancing - practice mostly but also for social dancing if I'm dressed casually or if my feet really hurt. My only complaint is that they do slip a bit. They fit snugly, but a dance shoe needs to fit snugly. You don't want your foot to slop around in a dance shoe - the shoe needs to be a precise extension of the foot, but not cause pain. There is a difference in dancing in a sneaker compared to a true ballroom dance shoe. for as long as my feet can take it, I dance more precisely in a ballroom shoe with the suede sole, but I can last all day in the Blochs.

New user - I ran into the Bloch Sneaker while looking for a tap shoe. Not only was I attracted by the "look", but the fit was exceptional. The first day wearing them I got more comments and people wanting to know where I got them. Its the first shoe my son (age 21) has truly been impressed with, and at my age (52), its great to find a stylish and comfortable sneaker. I haven't taken them dancing yet, but I love the fact that they are sooo flexible. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially people who are active and need additional arch support.
Brands I'd also recommend: First time wearer, but I'd like to try other styles.

Bloch's boost drt mesh sneaker - When I first had these shoes about 2 years ago I was over the moon. Not only were they stylish but they were comfortable and colourful. I'm getting a bit fed up of dansneakers now and are going to by a pair of lighter jazz shoes which i find easier to dance in. But everyone is intialled to their own opinion.

Pink shoes!!! These are the best dance sneakers that I have ever danced in!!! They are stylish, confortable, and they provide tons of support. I can go from jazz to hip-hop without changing shoes!

Flexibility and Support - I really like these shoes. They are flexible enough to wear while doing ballet exercises, yet they give good support, and they are nicely cushioned. They look pretty cool, too.

But do they... I really like the bloch dance sneakers in all aspects and having saved up for them for two years finally bought a pair. But due to my situation they have become exceedingly dirty. Apart from that I have no complaints--best dance shoes you can get.

Excellent service - I miscalculated my size and found the exchange process very easy. Got the shoes far sooner than was estimated, and, actually, I have them on right now. I highly recommend both the shoe and internet shoe shopping - which I wouldn't have predicted!

Bloch's Mesh Sneaker - I bought these shoes for my Granddaughter for her Jazz class as she "had" to have them. We are both very pleased with the shoe and she seems to think that by wearing them she is a better dancer. Suitable for wide feet - I've never had this type of shoe before, and was disappointed (but not too surprised) that they don't come in widths. I ordered one Bloch and one Leo's. The Leo's didn't work at all, but the Bloch is great! The expandable mesh gives the forefoot plenty of room--but make sure you order AT LEAST a full size larger. I ordered 1 1/2 sizes up and am glad I did!! They fit very snugly around my high arches. Love the red color; maybe I'll go for the pink someday. . .

My daughter is in love with these jazz sneakers! The only problem is they do run very small! We are on our third order of them. My daughter wears a 4 and we have had to order a 6 1/2. Zappos was incredible accommodating. They price matched and had super fast shipping! I highly recommend using them.

I got a full size larger than my normal shoe size, and that was the right size. These are very comfortable dance sneakers with the split sole, and comfortable just to walk in.

Comfort and Joy! One of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Great price. The only thing I would warn others is that I ordered 1-1/2 size LARGER than I normally wear (I wear size 7 but a 8-1/2 in these)--and glad I did because these shoes definitely run too small.

Great shoes but run very small - I ordered a half size bigger and these shoes become uncomfortably small after about an hour. Recommend you order 1 full size larger than regular shoe size or at least 1/2 size larger than athletic/running shoes.

Super duper!!! I use these shoes for my Irish dancing and they are excellent! They required no breaking in, and I can wear them for hours with no sore feet! For being dance sneakers, they are pretty nice looking as well. Order them a FULL size larger! That is the way they are made to fit!

This is one great choice!!! Absolutely love this shoe. Feel great! Has a great look and with the different color choices you can feel a bit hipper than plain black. They have great support for the foot and allow for maximum performance.

Works well for wide width feet - This shoe provides superior support and fits well, even tho' it's not designated for wide feet. I did order up a size and a half from my street shoe size and that worked well. The arch support is especially welcome for me as I have high arches.

Bloch's Boost DRT Mesh Sneaker - I ordered this sneaker in the pink and it looks so cool, I got many compliments in dance class!! I wear a size 8.5 and ordered a 9.5. This particular style does run a full size smaller than marked, so I recommend sizing at least one size up but they should still fit snug. They are very comfortable and have great arch support.
