They work well in his work boots, work shoes, and Church shoes. They would probably work in tennis shoes.

These are super cute! Like all Birk's, they'll take some breaking in to get the ultimate fit, but they are supportive and pretty comfy right out of the box. True to size.

I have had an old pair for about 15 years; still going strong but starting to look raggedy so I decided to get a new pair. These are still as wonderful for my feet as ever. Not stylish, but after a full day in heels, my feet just love these shoes. I agree with other reviewers, you need a few days to walk these in so they mold to your foot's shape. But once there - bliss!

I love these Birks. They are just as comfortable as I expect, but look very dressy with the patent leather and thin straps. Much less "hippy" than my other Birkenstocks. I get compliments every time I wear these.

Birkenstock's are great and the soft foot bed makes these even easier to break in. I wish they came in more styles. This color is lighter than it looks on the website, which I did not like. I wish it was a bit darker but I am sure with age it will darken.

This shoe is okay. I liked the arch support and ordered a 37. It was a tad bit long and had to have more holes put in the straps. I wear a 6 WW and while this shoe was wide enough it was a tad bit long. Also it is not flattering on a wide foot. I kept it because of the arch support and will wear in when I just want something to slip on and off. Am not as impressed with this line as most seem to be. The women's shoes are not as wide as the unisex shoes, and therefore do not work for me.

Yes! These are so wonderful and so worth the money. I can now wear my flats with superior arch support and they even disappear when wearing ballet flats; amazing! I have falling arches & am recovering from 5 months + of tendinitis in both ankles and knees and these are truly a God-send. I will buy more pairs.

I have fallen arches and severe overpronation. Having tried many different orthotics over the years, including the very expensive custom ones, these Birkenstock footbeds are the ones that are in every pair of shoes I own.

This shoe has a relatively more graceful look than normal Birkenstocks. Other reviews mentioned that it ran large, so I ordered a size smaller and it fit perfectly. Comes in narrow as well. It\'s fairly comfortable, though I\'m breaking it in slowly.

I am very happy with this style. I need this shoe for a foot ailment and it has been very beneficial. The black patent style goes with everything and is even a little "dressy".

Nice shoes. A bit stiff, but they soon loosened up. I believe the front straps are a bit further away from the toe than my old similar pair. Makes walking in them a bit awkward. I would not buy them again, but look for a similar pair with a closer to the toe front strap. Well made.

I am happy with my purchase, other than I wish I would have selected a smaller size. They are very cute and comfortable. I work a job where I stand on my feet for most of the day and Birkenstock's are the only shoes I can wear that at the end of the day my feet and legs don't ache. I love them!

I have seen this sandal on others and thought it was really cute. Ordered some for myself and found out they're very comfortable as well. Did not hurt my instep or space between toes (like the Fit-Flop did) and have gotten a lot of compliments when I wear them. The dark pewter color works well as a neutral and less 'flashy' than the silver. Definitely recommend and am considering buying another pair in brown.

I bought these shoes a few days before I was taking a trip to NYC. I never had a chance to break them in before hand so I wore them anyway. These shoes are the best! I walked the city for three days without any pain, discomfort or blisters! I love these and don\'t think I can ever go back to any other kind of sandal.

Let me please introduce myself. I've been the ardent owner of a single pair of Birkenstocks I bought in Berkeley over twenty years ago. I have worn them mostly indoors, and they are still my feet's favorite place to be. Never mind that they are becoming somewhat worn around the edges...aren't we all a bit? I live now in Alaska, too, a far cry from the Bay Area. I rarely buy new shoes, so this is a sort of a big event for me. Therefore, I really felt a bit out of my element when I decided to spring for a brand new pair of Zurich's the other day. I wondered if I even ordered the right size, as the numbers on my older ones were completely rubbed off. Yet, it was time. I made my best calculations based on reading the many wonderful reviews here, plus my own research. I've been entering a whole new layer of my life, and felt they would be a worthy investment. I was reassured by Zappos' great return policy and customer service reputation. I received them last week. They fit amazing well. I wear a US size 7 1/2, yet gambled on a size 37, narrow, and voila; I got it right the very first time. They were just a wee bit stiff at first, compared to my ancient ones. Yet, just as many reviewers have mentioned, after a couple of days, they've begun to soften, and my feet feel right at home, now happily torn between two luxurious Birkenstock options. I can hardly wait for winter to arrive. I know they'll become treasured old friends for a very long time to come. I realize not everyone's feet can feel as fortunate as mine do, and I am grateful. Additionally, it is incredible that, throughout all the ins and outs of these last few decades, the Birkenstock company continues to create such artistically crafted masterpieces.

Cobalt Blue Suede--Heavenly! I have owned many pairs of Birks over the course of 15 years. Several of them are Arizonas. Birkenstock can always be counted on to have high quality and great comfort. And they last forever! (Well, not really, because forever isn't here yet.)

I ordered these shoes because I am having foot pain. I tried these on and had no more foot pain! They are very comfortable, cute, not the typical looking Birks! These provide comfort from the very beginning! Zappos' service, as always, is awesome! They are the best Company to work with ever! I would highly recommend to order these!

I love my new red shoes! I saw these in a magazine and ordered them from Zappos immediately. They were at my door the next afternoon. I never buy shoes anywhere else. I love Zappos.
