Bearpaw Reviews
I bought these for my daughter and the ankle part of the boot began sagging within a few days. The boot is more snug near the top but really loose the rest of the way down. I was reluctant to buy her Uggs because she is thirteen. The Bearpaw's may be half the price but they are more like slippers and not as supportive. I was hoping to save some money but it's not worth it if you don't love them and they are uncomfortable. I was able to return them with Zappos which made me feel a whole lot better about the disappointment.
The purple is beautiful but ouch! This boot does not fit my high in-step feet. Super cute! If you can be swayed away from Ugg go to this brand because they are made in US not in China; Emu also makes a boot similar to this one and it has a great fit in the in-step.
Runs true to size in length and is generous in width. Could not wear because like Ugg they do not accommodate my high in-step...went back to Emu which does (really wanted these to work; the purple is super cute and this is an American made product).
So at first I bought one pair and then a few months later I bought 2 more. These boots are great. I recently moved to Chicago and I've worn my BPs every day to work (and sometimes all day at work) for the last few weeks. My feet and lower legs have always stayed warm! I'm not sure how well they will stand up to wet weather and slushy snow, but for the price, if I get 2 seasons out of each pair I won't complain. I wear a 9/9.5 in shoes and I bought all size 10s and they fit great.
These shoes were great for about one week. My daughter wore these everyday and they sag terribly to one side. The sole has also worn out on the bottom. She has a friend and hers did the same thing. She had Uggs before and they lasted two years. I guess you get what you pay for. We went back to Uggs.
This boot is awesome! I am normally a 6 and I got a 7 and they fit just right. They are warm but they don't make your feet sweat. I found that they don't flare out sideways or anything. You'll want to water proof them though. All my friends said they were so cute. People even thought they were UGG shoes!
This boot is so fuzzy! But it runs super small. I had to get 2 sizes larger than my normal size. If you get these boots, get a bigger size.
This boot is very well made and super comfortable. I wear a 6½, so I ordered a 7, but they were too small. I'm going to exchange them for an 8.
As much as I hate the trend factor of these boots, I love the comfort and the ease of just being able to slip them on when you need to go go go. I own several pair of Uggs but didn\'t feel like spending a lot of money on another pair, so I got these. These are equal in style and look and comfort to UGG. Not sure why other reviewers boots are falling apart? I haven\'t had any issue with mine and I wear the heck outta my boots. Love the color selection too. I ordered the eggplant, loden and navy and they are all cute! Order up! like any boot they run a tad small.
I wear size 10 in basically all types of shoes, and unfortunately this boot was a little too small for me. My toes hit the tip of the boot. I\'m not sure if it technically runs a half size or full size smaller, but felt to me at least a half size too small.
I'm finding that the longer I have these boots (five months and counting, so far), the more I have issues with them. I have a pair of the black boots, and have noticed that the interior dye tends to rub off; not just on skin, if you wear them barefoot, but also on socks! Additionally, the back heels have both developed this weird "crushed" look, and the overall shape has grown less and less supportive as time has gone on. When I walk in them, I notice that each boot has taken to turning inward, and I have to make a conscious effort to keep from feeling like I'm walking with my feet arched inward. I'm also finding that the heel area in general is getting very, very worn; almost to the point that I can tell there's about to be a hole (like with sneakers) if I'm not careful! On the plus side, these are very, very warm, and hold up great in slushy weather as long as you treat them with a protective spray before wear.
these bearpaws are warm and I love it. I live in San Francisco and it's usually cold at night, so I can even wear them in the summer nights. I also bought them for a trip to NYC and it worked out right. They are comfortable and warm. There are really no style, but at least it keeps me warm. I usually wear a 8 1/2 and I ordered 9 and it fits perfectly. (I even wear very warm thick socks!!)
I love my new boots! My 16-year-old daughter loves them, too. She borrows them when I let her. They run small. I wear a 7 1/2 or 8, and I had to send those back and replace them with a 9. They are a little bulky to walk in, but they are extremely comfortable and warm and great fun to wear on a snowy day. They look great with wool tights and a dress.
These boots are great! Very warm & comfortable. I wear an 8.5 and ordered the size 9. They fit great with a winter sock.
My daughter loves these boots! In fact, her friends ask to borrow them, too. They are great quality, comfortable and have a plush, warm lining. Zappos is awesome!
I love these boots!!!!!!!!! I got the dark brown color and I absolutely adore them!!!!!!! I prefer these over UGGs mainly because of price and color, I prefer brown Bearpaws because the brown color is more rich, while the UGG ones are lighter and marbled. These are very warm and comfy, although, I wouldn't recommend walking around a lot with them, as they have no arch support. Love love love them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
While these shoes were rather comfortable, the exterior did not hold up well. The back of mine became smooshed after awhile, and the suede became sort of pilly which affected the color. The soles also wore not very quickly, but after about 10-11 months, holes started developing in the soles. If you just want plain and simple cozy, these are nice, but if you are looking more for style or longer lasting, I'd say invest in a pair of Uggs.
I love these boots! They are extremely comfortable and keep my feet so warm on those cold and rainy days. The only thing I would say is that I usually wear a size 5.5, but can sometimes fit in a size 5. I got these boots in a 5 and they were a big snug at first. I would recommend that if for example you are a true 6.5 shoe size, you should order a size 7. But other than that, very cute boots. And I have pretty skinny legs and I love that they fit me very well.
