I was really pleased with these -- have already worn them on a week cruise. It's been very hard in recent years to find sandals in other than "medium" and "wide;" these fit perfectly. The part of the strap that crosses my little toe is not at the best place for me, but this must differ for every foot.

Having looked for such a long time recently for plain leather sandals without lots of heavy buckles and shiny bling, I was thrilled to find these. They fit so well. I immediately ordered another pair in black. Fantastic!

I am among those who kick their shoes off as soon as they arrive home, so you know I'm very careful about the shoes I MUST wear. These are such very nice, comfortable and attractive shoes that I could not be more pleased. Add to that the fact that Zappos is the most efficient and reasonably priced vendor on the net, hands down!

I have had 2 pairs of the Margie sandals in black, ordered from Zappos. My first pair of the black Margie sandals, the inner strap near the ankle broke after approximately 3-5 wearings. I called Zappos, and they replaced with the same style and color. I had the same thing happen; same strap broke after a very few wearings. The straps are not tight, and I am wearing the appropriate size. Additionally, I am not doing anything strenuous; no hiking or jogging or any such activity. Just walking. On a sidewalk, in a parking lot, etc. I also have a pair of the Margie sandals in Cinnamon. Those I have worn for 2 summers, almost daily. No ripped/torn straps on those. So I have to believe it is a defect with the black ones, for some reason. I can't tell you how disappointing it is to have thrown away this much on sandals I wore less than ten times between the 2 pairs I had. I think the sandals are comfortable, and they are reasonably attractive, for someone with big feet like myself. It's not easy to find shoes that don't look orthopedic for big feet (we like to be stylish too!). The cinnamon color is fine for every day wear, but sometimes I want black sandals to go with my outfit, and now I don't have any thanks to to some manufacturing defect. I think Bass needs to look into this issue, and have contacted them about it. I agree with other reviewers that the foot-bed is rather long; I probably could have gone down half a size. Also, the straps have stretched out a lot. I am considering wetting the sandals and letting them dry in the sun to try and "shrink" them back down for next summer. The straps are so loose that a couple of times I have been afraid of the shoe twisting so badly that I will fall. I don't know if that could be remedied by going down half a size. But overall I do like the shoes, they just have some issues you need to consider before purchasing, and maybe try a slightly smaller size.

I love the shoes, but they were too big in the length. I got size 12WW, but I needed this same shoe in 11WW. So this return is just an exchange in size for 11WW.

Great sandal. Unbelievably fast delivery. Second pair this year, only because young golden retriever liked the taste of them. I have had Bass sandals before and they last for years. I have ordered several things from Zappos, and they are the best. Thanks.

These are the most comfortable sandals every! I love bass sandals because the have so much cushion, I work in them all day 7 hours on my feet. and they don't ache at all. I went a 1/2 up just to play it safe. Good thing I did. They do stretch out a little bit but you can go up a notch on the strap. They are like walking on air!

I work retail and I'm on my feet all day. Our floors are hardwood and usually my feet are in so much pain that when I get home I crawl. These shoes are the only shoes I can wear at work. The air noise is worth the comfort.

Comfortable, with classic styling that may not be bleeding-edge cool, but that nonetheless blend with the average work-casual outfit, these sandals are a good value. They last forever, the footbed lining is like a little massage with every step and the flat heel makes these a good choice for long distance walking. I wear mine daily, and walk a good five miles in them. They never pinch or fatigue. Sure, they're not hip looking, but their timelessness makes them wearable season after season. Plus, they're priced less here! I recommend them.

I have extra wide feet, high arches, and the beginnings of a bunion on one foot. These are the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. I can walk in them all day long and my feet don't hurt at all! Amazing! I'm going to order a second pair.

Simply the best pair of sandals that I've ever had! These are my walking shoes. I walk about 5 miles a day to and from work and I don't do it without these shoes on. I hope they never stop selling these.

I have these very comfy sandals in several colors. The rubber soles make them great for city walking and their classic style makes them attractive enough for evening events in city and country. I am happy that Zappos carries them in a wide size.

Comfortable but my toes slide out of the front. These shoes would be great if the front weaving were more closed. I will return them but wish I didn't have to. If you do not have a narrow foot, then these will be good for you.
