The Longwood is a beautiful, classic shoe that can be dressed up or down with many outfits in most colors. The cognac leather immediately started to crease and scratch during my first wear, but I use shoe trees and tan/neutral polish to help keep the shoe as close to its initial form as possible. My feet are wide in the balls and narrow in the heels, so a medium gave me a nice fit in front with some slipping in back; they feel true to size. After sticking Moleskin inside the heels, the shoes are much more comfortable. The shoes seem like they are well made enough to last for a decade if properly maintained.

Overall I am happy with the appearance and fit. The shoe loses form (i.e. is crushed easily) when traveling so it might be a good idea to use a shoe tree.

Great service. Shoes arrived 3 days after they were ordered. Photo and description was accurate. The shoe felt a half size larger than I ordered but it is a slip on which tend to fit loose on me.

This Bass shoe is not the best I've had. Not very comfortable, no insole cushion. Also the finish is easily scuffed and marked. If you're looking for comfort, this is not the shoe for you. Big Bass disappointment.

Well, this is a beautiful shoe, but the size was so far off I could not fit in it, even with a shoe horn. I had to send it back and try a bigger size, but it is just a guess. The shoe had no size on it, it was only on the box. I hope the bigger size will fit.

These Pennys really do kill it. I have struggled to find the right Weejuns to a. fit my foot properly and comfortably and b. give e exactly what I want out the classic loafer. These fit the bill entirely. Team Longwood all the way. As always, Zappos shipping and customer service was top notch!

I love this shoe. I have purchase other penny loafers that are not true to size, this one is. Further, the matte finish on the leather is a welcome change to the usual overly dressy shiny nature of a new shoe.

When I got these, I joked that I would "destroy them", planning to make a long-term relationship with these shoes. Four months later, they have already attained "beater" status -- the soles have worn thin and the heels have gotten loose. They're still quite presentable, but I couldn't guess for how much longer. Brand new, the flaws in craftsmanship are immediately apparent -- the pattern cutter hasn't quite mastered his art and the hand-sewing is a bit uneven. On the positive side, these shoes were very easy to break in and are extremely comfortable for someone who doesn't require a lot of support. They are nearly as flexible as my rubber-soled boat shoes. These might work for occasional wear, but I can't see them lasting very long with regular wear.
