Comfort! Style! Quality! All in ONE STYLE! I have very wide feet, and I have had several stress fractures on one foot, midway between my pinkie and heel. Because of this, it's been SO HARD to find a good shoe that fits everywhere - width, size (length) and also fits my budget and my sense of style. Well, if this is also a problem for you, LOOK NO MORE! These sandals may not be incredibly "sexy", but they're definitely cool and not "geriatric-looking". They are so comfortable; it's like walking on pillows! They're adjustable across the top and around the ankle. The bottom is shock-resistant, and you literally can't feel ordinary gravel or rocks under your feet in these shoes (something I've always HATED). I bought these in Cinnamon, which is closer to a reddish-maroon color than brown, and then bought them in black. My all-time favorite shoe is SAS Duo, but they are almost impossible to find, may be discontinued, and are almost 3 times the price. These Bass Joanne's are perfect. They'll last years - just like my other Bass sandals. (I've actually had a pair of Bass Margie's for 6 years and you wouldn't know it looking at the sole!). I bought a WW, but I might have been able to go for just a plain "W". Nevertheless, they're adjustable, so I have absolutely no problem; I just made them a bit tighter across the top. If you need a comfortable shoe that you can (a) walk in, (b) stand in for long periods of time, and (c) fits your budget, then this shoe is for YOU! And Please, LET'S NOT FORGET HOW GREAT ZAPPOS IS! Price is right! For the price, these sandals are great. I only gave 4 stars because there is minimal arch support. I think they do run a tad bit small... As always, Zappos did a tremendous job!

Minimal break-in - These were pretty comfortable right out of the box. The arch support was decent, and the leather was not too stiff on top of my foot or at the toes. I wore them out to dinner for a few hours out of the box without any ill effects. Very comfortable. The service was, always, excellent. I think the shoes arrived within 36 hours of placing the order!

Bass Sandals - I have been looking for these sandals for about 30 years. I had a pair like this in high school and wore them until they fell apart. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am so happy I found them on your web site. Thank You!

Not the Same Old Shoe - I have worn these shoes before, and was excited to see them again. They are not the same old shoe, however. They are made of thinner leather, and are just skimpier and less comfortable than they were many years ago.

Great Bass Sandals! I love Bass sandals because they wear well, are very cute and VERY comfortable! Love this new style because I'm into children's style sandals -- no heels, thank you! -- and these have that look. The padding is terrific, too! In fact, I wish Bass made them in other colors, like purple and red!

Simple and comfortable pair of sandals - I owned a pair of these sandals for about 15 years. I wore them frequently during the summer months; I threw them away finally, when the strap broke. I just bought a new pair and I hope they last just as long. I found them very comfortable, above all else, and the style is simple. Bass has always made a good product!

Poor workmanship! I love the look and the style--however, the strap broke the first time I put them on! I was so sure I would love the shoes; I didn't keep the return materials. So, I am not sure about how to return them. I'm hoping it is just a "faulty" shoe. I would like to try another pair.

Think twice before you buy this shoe - I received the shoes on Thursday, April 23. Wore them around the house to make sure they were comfortable. Put them on today to go to work and the back strap came undone while I was sitting on the train! Luckily, I always have an extra pair of shoes at work. For the price, I expected the shoe to last more than four days. It's a very cute shoe, but I can't give it a higher rating considering the shoddy material used. Other stores make a sturdier shoe than this. I'm so angry that I had to lose my money this way.

Super comfortable sandals!!! I ordered these sandals after reading other customers' reviews and must admit they were true. Bass Joanne sandals are very comfortable, have super soft leather and they feel great on my feet. I am very happy with my purchase.

Lo-o-o-o-ong Toe Bed! I do have short-ish toes, but these shoes were set up very strangely for my feet. The front strap was way too far from my toes... like at least a half inch before my toes even began! So I felt like I was going to slip straight out the front. Not recommended for narrow feet! Or short toes! Everyone else is super lucky because these are very, very cute.

I thought this was a really cute shoe, comfortable and flat. Good for summer walking. However, a quick walk across the living room ended all that. The air in the cushion of the sole is expelled with each step creating an awkward "farting" noise. There’s really no other way to describe it. Perhaps in time this would go away, but I wouldn’t want to take the chance.

Like walking on air. I wore these shoes all around the city the day I took them out of the box, and I didn't have a single problem. The leather is soft, the sole is cushiony, and they are fashionable. Trust me, they look much better on than off--they have retro appeal. I am a teacher, and I refuse to wear any other shoes for the rest of the year--these shoes make me happy. These shoes look and feel better than any flip-flops you'll buy this season--and you can't beat the price.

Comfortable sandals. The sole isn't quite as flexible as I would have liked, but it isn't too bad. The straps actually had the holes my very narrow feet needed. My feet stay put in the sandals and don't slide around.

I purchased these in black and they were exactly what I was looking for- so simple, clean, and comfy! I'd hoped they could be a good walking shoe, but alas, blisters presented when worn for more than a mile of walking. Could be the shoe, but also, anatomy.

I bought these shoes for my mother who wears a 9 1/2 narrow - they were the ONLY ones I could find anywhere. Nobody but Zappos carries sandals in narrow sizes. I had them shipped directly to her. Let me tell you - she LOVES them! Thanks to Zappos for making this an easy and great purchase.

I was delighted with these shoes when I first received them - they were very comfortable, basic/classic in appearance, and well-priced. After about a month of wearing them, the leather heel strap ripped in half. Other reviewers had commented that this might happen, but I took the risk when I shouldn't have...
