The original - great for costumes or just reminiscing. Fits narrow at the toe, and a bit long, so you can take a half size down, if your foot is narrow enough.

Great fit, good looking, however, poor manufacture. I had worn the shoes about 6 times and the soles of each bent at the ridges and caused holes, I continued to wear them until I was caught in a rain storm and water - and lots of it - leaked through the openings in each sole. Soaked my feet. Ruined my shoes. Where does Bass manufacture these shoes? Very shoddy job.

The original - great for costumes or just reminiscing. Fits narrow at the toe, and a bit long, so you can take a half size down, if your foot is narrow enough.

Wearing these is traveling back in time to high school! They are very comfortable with a generous toe box and as comfortable as running shoes with a bit more panache.

I've been looking for a good quality saddle shoe (no Payless junk) for years. I hate buying clothes online, especially shoes, because my feet are flat, narrow and have a low instep, but with the return policy Zappos has I couldn't pass this up. The shoe (8N) fit like a glove. I love how they feel and how they look. I'm seriously considering getting another pair to hold onto for later after these wear out because I plan on wearing then a lot and don't want to go for years without my favorite shoe.

I never thought I would receive so many compliments going retro as I did with this shoe! I wore them with a blazer and slacks and received so many compliments! I have started a trend at my office. Very yuppie chic.
