Zappos provides the best service and I am pleased to be a customer. However, the last pair of shoes I ordered (Bass Burlington) caused blisters on both of my feet within an hour of wearing them. I was at work and could not change shoes so the blisters were deep and prevented comfortable wear from any of my shoes for about a week. I tried several softening methods including warm water wetting and shoe trees but still can not wear the shoes. I like the style and did receive compliments and want to wear them but they are uncomfortable and injurious.

The Bass Burlington is as comfortable as it is classic. I love this shoe. Just last night I paired it with dark denim jeans, rolled the cuff of the jean and rocked this shoe with no socks. Everyone loved it. Awesome show, awesome comfort!

I always have at least 2 pair of saddle shoes in my inventory. The Bass shoe is lighter than many yet well constructed. The photos represent it well as to look and color. Good value for the price. As usual, Zappos got them to me quickly, even without expedited delivery.

Bass shoes are made very well. However, the fit was very tight. I had to endure some discomfort across the instep along with some rubbing on the heel. After several wearings the shoe became tolerable. I believe that if a shoe fits properly then break-in is not required, but not in this case. The look of the shoe is outstanding.

I\'m very fond of these shoes, but I definitely thought I should let other prospective customers know that, in person, the difference between the brown and dark brown is considerably more subtle. Still great looking, but if you\'re expecting the level of contrast in the photos here, you might be disappointed.

This is a good looking and well-made shoe. The leather is rather stout and takes some time to become broken in, but it\'s not uncomfortable. Typical of the quality construction of all Bass shoes I\'ve purchased. Size seems to run a tiny bit large - my size 10 is a little roomier than the usual size 10s I wear in other shoes, but not so much that I\'d want to back down to a 9.5.

I have received numerous compliments on the looks of the shoe and I am very pleased with the appearance. They are, however, one of the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned. I was hoping that over time they would break-in and the become more comfortable, but that has not been the case.

These shoes are great. They look very stylish and are comfortable. I ordered a size 12 and they felt a half size to a full size too big. I would recommend going at least a half size lower than what you usually wear.

Great shoe, there surprisingly comfy, and a fresh look for a dressy casual shoe. I'm 25 and they go with the style I wear for work, and night life. I've gotten many complements on them already.

I ordered these as a surprise for my husband and he just loved them! As with all Bass shoes, great quality overall, but perhaps not as durable as your typical Bass shoe...just seem kind of lightweight. Definitely run large, we had to order a half size down to get a great fit.

These seem to run huge! I am sending these back and getting a full size smaller because there is at least an extra inch of extra room. They are pretty stiff in the heel and toe box too, but hopefully they will break in when I find the right size.

Great look, fit and value! Well-finished w/ replaceable soles and a padded footbed. The shoes are so light, it's almost like they aren't there.

This is a good looking traditional shoe. The two tone leather makes it not so clunky. This show can be dressed up or down.
