Bass Reviews
Good fit. Solid construction. The sole is not non-marking (so it marks). Nice classic looks. Bought the gray. Thinking about purchasing same style in another color.
Sandals are great. Fit well and are very comfortable - good cushioning.
Cute but uncomfortable. I wore these sandals just 1 day on vacation and still have blisters from the stiff leather straps after 3 weeks. I believed Bass to be a good brand name but I won't be trying them again.
Loved the shoes exactly what I was looking for. Went online elsewhere to purchase them and they were twenty dollars more, was very happy will definitely return.
It is extremely hard to find a shoe that has enough room on top for your toes to move. This shoe is great. A little out of my style at 74 years old, but I may start a new fashion. Very good shoe.
I am actually a AAA and these fit me. They are quite narrow. They look very nice. I'm looking forward to sandal season so I can actually wear them out (just wore them around the house so far).
Quintessential loafer that complements business casual and weekend clothing styles, Bass loafers are a great shoe for the price point. Help the leather retain its shape by inserting a shoe tree after each wearing. This shoe might be a difficult fit for wide feet, or for those with a high instep. Thank you, good people of Zappos, for the consistently top notch service!
I owned a pair of these, Bass, size 10M, from about 1980-2000. They were awesome! They fit because they ran longer and wider than the average 10M. However, I just ordered a 10W (her actual size, thinking it would be a bit big on her, so she can "grow" into it over the summer) for my daughter, and they were shorter and narrower for the size. She had to squeeze her foot into it. So something has changed (manufacturer?). They no longer run long/wide. They now run narrower, and just a tiny bit short for the size.
It’s so hard to find navy blue shoes and these are great! Fit is as I needed! The quality lives up to the Bass label. I love not having to pay $7 or more just to try on shoes via regular mail orders. Thanks, Zappos!
Many shoe companies produce wide shoes that are not. I have purchased well over a dozen pairs of Bass shoes in wide, and they have all lived up to their billing. In addition, Bass shoes are well constructed and last much longer than the average shoe. The Bellinghams in black suede continue the trend. They are true wides in a classic design made from high quality leather and still look nearly new after over a month of wear. I expect to be wearing them for years to come.
I am truly disappointed with these shoes. I have worn them twice and the heel is loose and they squeak. I expected more from Bass.
What a cute bootie! However, was too big around my ankle. Very disappointing. I ordered an 8 1/2 N, which width at toes was perfect, but not at instep and ankle.
I ordered these for my husband. It was too large for him, though the Sperry Topsiders in the same size fit perfectly. I am returning them and will not reorder since they were too stiff and plain looking for his taste. But they were good quality if you like Bass shoes.
These are very nice and comfortable shoes. I had a pair and was so glad that Zappos had the same style that I had before.
I bought these for a trip to Jamaica. They were extremely comfortable as my primary walking shoes. They barely needed any breaking in- they were comfortable on the first day. The leather did stretch a bit, so by the end of the week I was on the second-to-smallest hole in the strap, but the footbed was true to size.
They are great! They are on trend, but still have a different look to them. I usually wear between a 6.5 or 7. And went with a 6 because the comments said to size down. Luckily I did, they fit great. Expensive, but very worth it!
