These are cute sandals, but they are not a D width. They are more like a C. They are kind of tight on my feet. But I am going to keep them and hope they will stretch after wearing them for a while. Otherwise, they are very comfortable.
These are excellent! I have the worst time finding comfortable flats that hold up to a lot of walking, but these are great. I didn't even have to break them in, they were comfy from the start. They don't slip in the heel (no blisters!) and the toe box is nice and roomy. The leather is nice and flexible so there's no stiff seam digging into the top of my foot or hard toe box pinchihg my toes. Plus, they are absolutely adorable. Even cuter than the picture. There's not a ton of arch support, though there is enough cushioning to give some support. I bought these in red and was so happy that I'm buying them in black.
This sandal is fantastic. The first time I put it on I wore it for several hours with none of the break-in issues that usually come with leather sandals. They're comfortable, cute, and great quality, like other Bass shoes! Highly recommend these.
Beautiful shoe true to being silver metallic, and full deep shoe with 1 inch heel, so very good for support and comfort. Just too wide in body for my foot, even though I ordered medium, and quite narrow in the front of the toe. Sorry to have to return.
These are very comfortable. The inner soles are very cushy. I love Bass Shoes and Zappos!
Bought these for my daughter for a Sweet 16 party (she won't wear heels) and was the only one who kept her shoes on! How is that for comfort!
Like a lot of others, I ordered these shoes in a wide width and couldn't even get my toes in. Usually wides are fine. I should have read the previous reviews before ordering. The shoes are really cute, look well made and I definitely would have kept them, but they are not anywhere near wide enough. Very disappointed and returning them.
Comfortable, well made saddle shoe that runs true to size...my Mother always said, "You can always trust a man that wears Saddle Shoes."
I was happy with the shoe. I wish the quality was better, you could see the glue attached to the bottom of the shoe. Otherwise, I would have given it 4 stars
I love these shoes. They have so much padding on the bottom, very comfy! I highly recommend you order a half size up. They do run small. Also, the colors are slightly more vibrant in person.
The leather is soft. They show scuffs and signs of wear very quickly. I like that. Looking at these side-by-side with the (less expensive) Bass Brockton, the difference appears to be the sole and insole. The Buckingham has a much softer sole. The insole of the Brockton looks nicer, but I have not worn them.
The shoes look extremely long. They are tight across the toes and don't seem to be stretching out to quickly.
These would have been a real winner but they were too narrow (I ordered them in wide). I also felt that they were a little too constricting on my feet in general so they made a really loud "flop" noise when I walked. Had to send them back.
I may have written a nice review for these shoes some time back. Here's an updated review after wearing for 9 months. The shoe seems like good quality at first. The bottoms wear fast, especially the heel. The toe upper comes away from the sole, now. They are glued down, no stitching or nailing. Wish these would have lasted longer.
The sole and foot bed of this sandal is narrow. My little toe hung completely off the side. Plus anyone ordering the WW width probably has a thicker ankle as well. The ankle strap is short.
I love these shoes. The width is little wider than the normal medium width, and that was perfect for me. I didn't have to stretch them at any. I also love the woven design. I ordered the brown, love them so much ordered second pair in black.
I get so many compliments on these shoes! They are cute, unique yet retro and comfortable. The first time I wore them, the sole was a little bit stiff, but not for long. I wear a 9 or 9.5; I ordered the 9.5 and they fit well with room if I choose to wear socks. Super shoes - I wish that they came in black with white polka dots, too!
