- Highly breathable open mesh upper.
- Durable synthetic overlays for targeted support.
- Biomorphic Fit® is created with a stretch material that is strategically placed throughout the upper to reduce buckling and provide an exceptional fit and feel.
- Discrete Eyelets - Independently placed eyelets evenly distribute lace tension for an enhanced fit.
- Heel Clutching System™ is made up of an exoskeletal heel counter that promotes an improved fit and increased support.
- PHF® (Personalized Heel Fit) creates a custom fit as the two layers of memory foam that line the collar mold to your heel.

Such a massive improvement over the Nimbus 13! The toe box is wider and roomier, plenty of room for orthotics, and super light! I've been through the progression of Nimbus models over the past 3 years, run 2 marathons and 8 half marathons, and these are the best. The 13s were so tight in the toes, they almost felt too short, but the 14s got it right! Happy running!

Minimal support. My feet burn. Laces extend too far into the toe of the shoe and shoes break across my toes. Too wide in toe area. Very uncomfortable! Bring back Nimbus 12! They were perfect.

These are nice shoes. I love the colors-blue/purple. But they are too soft to run. I decide to walk in them before I run. So I just power walked six miles and my feet hurt! I try to break them in by walking, the shoes have poor stability. I will go back to my favorite brand Brooks are the best! I can run more than 10 miles in my brooks.
I'd also recommend: Not really, not for running long distance.

Best athletic brand ever! I only wear Asics and this Gel-Nimbus does not disappoint. I suffer from Plantar fasciitis and lower back pain, these are the only shoes I can wear that don't aggravate either. Plus, when running, feels like your running on a cloud.

These are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had! I went into a specialty running shoes store, and they recommended the Asics Fortitude, which I bought. I felt like I was running with lead weights tied to my feet! I didn't want to spend even more on shoes, but I knew I couldn't run in those. After doing some research and reading reviews, I ordered the Asics Gel Nimbus 14. I'm so glad I did, and they are well worth the money. They are so comfortable! I feel like I'm running with little pillows in my shoes and they are much lighter than the other shoes. Right now I have a little pain in the ball of my foot, and the gel cushioning really helps. The colors are great too. I really, really love these shoes!

These are a major improvement from the Nimbus 13. I have been running in Asics for the past dive years. The Nimbus 13 was horrible, the toe box was narrower than the 11 and the 12 (mind you I am a consistent size 8). I ran a half marathon in the 13 and ended up with toe blisters, I had no problem with the 12. Too bad as I have only had the 13 less than five months.
