These shoes are pretty phenomenal! I purchased them about a month ago to replace a worn-out pair of Mizuno Wave Riders. They’ve got great support at every angle, have all but eliminated my over-pronation, and are super light. My only and very mild disappointment is that they don’t ventilate well (the reason I rated comfort for 4 stars). On my 10+ runs they get a too warm, but not so much as to cause any real hindrance. Yet, I wouldn’t recommend them if this is something that does hinder your running. I’d have to say I’m 99% satisfied!

These are my favorite walking/running/workout shoes and have been my style of choice for the past 4 years. I just keep ordering a new pair and then using the old pair to walk around town in. They are a solid, stable, and cushioned shoe.

At first I thought these shoes may be too large, but after running in them, I changed my mind. The extra toe room is nice. This is my second pair of ASICS, the style has changed but the overall support is the same. Good shoes!

I bought these shoes because of all the positive reviews on the previous models, and while I'm sure these are great for people with somewhat normal feet, they do not work for me. The D width is not wide enough even when the shoes are a half size larger than my normal size and they do not provide enough stability to stop my ankles from rolling in when I run. I returned these shoes and got the New Balance 1012 instead.

I have worn the Kayano for years now and cannot understand how a shoe can get worse. This does provide support, finally a feminine design and color, but they took away cushion in the forefoot area. While training for a marathon this can really be a bummer! I was very disappointed and am left wondering what to do for my upcoming marathon. I hope they do some re-construction and bring back the 15 which had it all...oh but keep the design and color...love it.

I love these shoes! I was admittedly reluctant to spend so much, but no regrets here. They are light, comfortable and even better than the previous generation (which are also great). Another bonus, I thought they were very stylish. The offset laces were a nice touch!

These are AWESOME running shoes! I think I'm on my 8th or 9th pair. I run them until they're worn out and then buy a new pair of the same style. Well worth the money!

I just had to tell all how much I love these shoes. They are the most stable well cushioned shoe I have owned. I usually go with Nike but these blow them out of the water. None of my various styles of Nikes are even close to these shoes. Love them! I run about 15-20 miles a week. I like a shoe with lots of cushioning.

I have a heel bone spur and plantar fasciitis and these shoes have made all the difference in the world! I love the extra cushioning, it really is more than any other running shoes I have had.

Very comfy shoes. The size runs a bit large. I wear a 9 and the 8.5 fit better. Very cushy run. I love the offset laces so they don\'t hit your metatarsals. This is my 3rd pair of gel-Kayanos.

I've loved Kayanos through several versions of the shoe. They have great support for my flat feet and good cushioning, and I can run forever in them. The biggest change in this edition is the off-set lacing, and I haven't really noticed that it makes a difference in the fit. My only complaint about the Kayanos (this edition, and all of the previous ones as well) is that the toe is narrow, and even though the shoe is the correct size it tends to destroy my little toenails. I consider it a minor sacrifice for being able to run injury-free.

Asics Gel Kayano are the only workout shoes i will wear!! Love em and love the black!! I normally wear a 10 but always wear an 11 in these.

I have been buying Gel-Kayano for years. The last model (15) was terrible. I hated it and wrote a bad review with some suggestions. I was ready to switch my allegiance to another brand. Deciding to give it one more try, I bought model 16. I love it. It is much softer overall and they removed that ugly swirl that was on model 15. I felt as though they had taken my suggestions to heart and changed it "just for me". I was thrilled and ended up buying a second pair. I am tempted to buy more just in case next year\s is not as good. Anyway, I highly recommend this shoe for people who need a combination of support (especially in the arch) and comfort.

I have used ACICS for sometime now but have leaned toward the less expensive 2100 series. While in a store, I tried on these kayanos and was surprised how well they supported my severe overpronating feet. Their price was a bit overwhelming compared to what I was used to paying, so I decided to check out Zappos. Not only were they cheaper, they arrived in record time (less than a week) to my APO address.

The shoes are very comfortable and provide great support, but they feel a little longer and wider than my ASICS Nimbus sneakers. The roomy toe box does feel good after a long walk or run, however.

I have been an avid Asics Kayano fan for approx 7 years--love their cushioning, durability, and minor stability/control (I slightly pronate). They are also a good shoe for females weighing 135+ lbs. who walk/run 20+ miles a week. This version, however, has a lacing system that curves towards the great toe (unusual), so it took some time to adjust. Prefer some of the older models simply because they had a straight (normal) lacing system.

The thing we love about Zappos is delivery is so fast and return is so easy. They have yet to disappoint us. These are very comfortable shoes, costly but worth it, if your feet hurt a lot where they tie, or they are wide with a high arch, or the bottoms hurt, like mine. You can feel supported at the tie area without having it hurt, yet feel freedom in the toe area. I like how they look also. It's a great shoe for me, hope it is for you, too.

I always wore New Balance sneakers--they never fit exactly right because I am "between sizes." I tried ASICS Gel-Kayano 16 and "fell in love." They are truly the most comfortable sneakers I have ever worn--the first day I wore them the entire day. In addition, they offered a half size. I ordered 2 more pairs. These sneakers are well worth the extra money--worth every penny.
