Having never bought a pair of Asics before I thought these looked really stylish and since they have a good reputation for comfort I bought a pair. Huge disappointment!!! These are the most uncomfortable sneakers I've ever worn. They have no support and make my feet ache. I've never owned a pair of sneakers that made my feet hurt and they are the correct size but there's no support.

I've always loved the Gel Kayano, but the 15 breaks down way too fast. I run 20+ miles a week and I can usually wear a pair of Kayanos for running about six months. These barely made it two!! In fact my last pair of 14's that I've had for more than 9 months now have more left in them than these do. The 15s are great out of the box but beware the fast breakdown.

Bought a new pair of ASICS Gel to replace the (discontinued) model of ASICS that I had - unfortunately, I have to concur with the other reviews that the 4E is a tad narrow. I regrettably had to return them.

So far a great workout shoe! I wear an 11 4A, but I had to exchange this shoe for a 12. It is narrow enough and snug without choking the life out of my feet during a vigorous indoor walking/jogging workout. Plenty of cushioning in the ball of the foot. The ankle padding in the back isn’t quite as snug as the Gel Motion shoe, but it is adequate.

Sized incorrectly - These shoes are incorrectly sized. I've worn a size 12 men’s for as long as I can remember. The size 12 I received for these shoes are more like a size 14. I had at least an extra inch of space. Otherwise nice looking and relatively comfortable shoes.

Ouch! Okay, if I hadn't really wanted a 2E when I ordered it, perhaps I would have loved this shoe. It’s cute and has nice cushioning in the sole. But I'm not sure the makers understand what extra-wide means. This shoe was tight all the way across the toe box and all the way around. Even with the laces taken out (I did that, just to see) it was still bone-crushingly tight. Also, it was a bit shorter than the usual 6 1/2. So if the width had been, you know, wide...I would still have had to upgrade to a 7. Anyway, Zappos is still the best thing since sliced bread and I'm gonna try a different brand.

These shoes look great, but the insert is terrible. For a week straight, my foot hurt with a racking pain. Then I put in the insert from my old GT-2140 and now they’re reasonable. The major problem is they have no foam-like padding underneath your foot, you’re basically walking on the road. The arch is plastic so it doesn’t shape to your foot and the GEL insert under the heel isn’t the same GEL used in most Asics shoes. It a firmer kind and it’s in a very thin layer.

Ordered this in a 7.5 D for my wide foot and it would have run true to size if I could use it without socks . . . like to wear a fairly thick sock (usually Thorlo's) so had to go larger to get a good fit. Shoe has truly excellent arch support - I have a high arch and this provides firm support. Please Zappo's, continue to use "arch support" as part of the review process.

If you want to know what pain is, I'll loan you my feet. I've been looking for the perfect walking shoe for exercise for a couple of years and have gotten by with some pretty good ones, but still nearly gave up walking from the pain in my feet--arthritis, plantar fascia, instability, etc. When I put these shoes on and began to walk last night, I thought, "I'm wearing the pink Cadillac of walking shoes." I had the best walk of my life and was able to walk faster and longer than ever before. ASICS are the bomb! I'm delighted!

Don't expect them to last very long - Just bought these in January, and realized today that my feet were wet when I walked across a field. This is because I've worn the soles almost completely down in the pivot areas, and water was leaking in! These shoes are expensive for what they are, and it's nice to have a non-white tennis shoe. But if you're planning on playing a lot, buy something more durable...

The quality of materials used in Asics shoes is unsurpassed. The Nimbus 10 is a very comfortable, very well cushioned shoe. The ride of the shoe is not the best (Brooks have the best ride IMO); in fact I find it a tad on the harsh side, but a very good overall shoe nonetheless.

The Asics Gel-Kahana 3 shoes I just received fit perfectly. I normally wear a 12 W so that's what I ordered. I stand on a cement floor all day and I was able to wear these shoes all day without a problem. I will be ordering another pair.

I love these sneakers. I have knee problems and I slightly over pronate. I've always worn New Balance, but recently I started running again seriously and the NB were just not cutting it. These are really a huge improvement and I adore how light-weight they are. I'm an Adidas fan also, but a pair I was interested in just felt too heavy. Admittedly I don't love the minty color, but whatever, they serve the purpose I aimed for.

I had such high expectations for buying a pair of ASICS. A friend told me she would never buy another brand of athletic shoes after walking around Disney World for a week and her feet feeling great. After seeing a surgeon wearing a pair before surgery, I figured they would have the inside scoop on what would be the most comfortable. First, I found these ran a 1/2 size too small. I consider myself a "true" size 10, only having bought a different sized shoe once in the last 15 years. I found myself wishing I had bought the 10.5. After my first 30 minute workout on the elliptical, the balls of my feet were killing me. Remembering I had a high-end pair of inserts in my old athletic shoes, I moved those over to the ASICS. After the next half hour workout on the elliptical, the pain in the balls of my feet was only marginally better. The shoes were too small to accommodate the additional height of the insert, and the middle of my foot to my toes was falling asleep on both of my feet. The next day, the outside bottoms of both of my feet were sore. Granted, I bought the least expensive ASICS that were offered, and was sure there was a difference between the high end ones and the low end ones. But I am not running marathons here. I at least expected a half hour on an elliptical would result in neutral feeling feet. These will be returned.

He loves them! I bought these for my dad as a Father's day gift. I wasn't home when the package was delivered, but he was, and had them on when I got home. Every time he wears these shoes, he raves about them, loves everything about them - says it's like walking around barefoot with cushion.

These are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I stand for 6-8 hours a day at work, plus walk for 2 hours a day. I use these for my weight training workouts, and just as an everyday shoe. Wearing them feels like walking on clouds. I had been a fan of new balance until I found these, and after trying 3-4 other pairs from NB, I keep sending them back and picking up a pair of the 2130's. They have excellent arch support, awesome cushioning, and help stabilize your ankle. I have had knee pain with other shoes, and nothing with these. My only complaint is the looks (which is why I keep going to NB hoping to find something I like). But comfort keeps me here. Zappos shipping is excellent. Usually arrive 2-3 days after order with regular shipping, and their return policy is great.

Awesome! I just got these shoes and they feel GREAT! I was hesitant at first, but they are the best feeling Asics that I've owned. I have had Nimbus (which I loved too!) and the GT 2110's as my last pair but these will soon be my favorite. My high arch gets plenty of support! YAY!

My feet are happy!!! These are the best shoes. I have been having pain in my feet for about 2 years. Owned Rockports and very expensive sandals with high arches for the pain and nothing has helped. I found these shoes and thought I would try them. The price was right. I now get up in the morning and put them on first thing. My feet don't hurt anymore. I will definitely pay the price for these shoes again!!! My foot pain has gone from a 10 down to a 1 or 2 by evening. I love these shoes!

The ASICS Gel-Foundation Walker is a very comfortable walking shoe with good looks. The combination leather & mesh upper makes this a very durable shoe. The excellent cushioning and good arch support provides all day comfort. This is one versatile shoe that I would highly recommend.

Like running on a cloud - I’m a once to twice a week runner 1-3 miles each run. The knee pain I was experiencing I thought was from getting older. My first run in the new Cumulus 10s my knees hurt for the first mile or so then the pain was gone. On my two runs since then, I’ve had no knee pain. It feels like I’m running on a cloud. In part it could be due to the fact that my previous Cumulus pair is 8 years old and the cushioning is gone. I wear a 10.5 to 11 depending on the shoe. I had to get an 11 in the Cumulus. I have a slightly wide foot (1E) but the D size of the Cumulus 10 fits great. Toe box is just roomy enough with no pinching of the toes. I was torn between the Nimbus and the Cumulus, so I tried them one on each foot and did a short jog in the store. Though I preferred the color scheme of the Nimbus, I went for slightly better comfort of the Cumulus. Heal cushioning is awesome and the forefoot is pretty darn good also. They seem lighter than my 8-year-old Cumulus pair. My running style is normal, maybe with a slight underpronation, and these shoes seems to work for that.

Asics Gel Comfort - Have tibia tendonitis and when I wear this shoe, my foot feels great. I was looking at a walking shoe but they are all leather and get hot! This shoe is wider than the Nike one I tried and is very comfortable. They do run small. Normally a 7 1/2 or 8 and ended up with 8 1/2. Might get 2nd pair to wear in house.

Wonderful 5 miles right out of the box. I have high arches and this shoe fit like a glove. It's not as low profile as I'm used to but it's one of the best shoes I've run in. The toe off is really nice. And the forefoot cushioning is plush. FYI, the forefoot is not as roomy as some other shoes, but my foot is a little narrow. Looking forward to my run tomorrow. :)
