ASICS

I bought these as a work shoe for something that meets the all-black dress code, is comfortable, affordable, and has good traction. The shoe is all of those things.

I was a complete devotee of the Gel-Kayano 16, but Asics has just slightly changed the cut for the 17 and now the 18 as well, and they no longer fit my feet. The mesh on the toes is too small so the "leather" part cuts into my big & little toe joints, and even the wide was narrower than expected -- except in the heel which was too loose! I wish they'd go back to the old cut!

I reordered the wide because toe box was not wide enough. I could not tell a difference in 9M and 9W. It was like it was the same shoe.

Not my favorite Asics ever, but good. I find that my feet fall asleep in these for some reason when I am on the elliptical. Running, I may need a bit more support because I do run so much. I've only ever worn and will wear Asics for running, so this is on the lower end of Asics experience, but still good. No one makes a running shoe so well.

I purchased this shoe a few months ago to wear as a casual sneaker. I wear it every so often to work and out for when I just need to be wearing a "shoe." I think the shoe looks awesome and the comfort is great. I love asics running shoes, and it has the same general feel of an asics shoe. It's also really light and just an overall great shoe.The only issue I have with the shoe is it's durability. The first pair i purchased a few months ago quickly picked up a hole in the mesh. I'm thinking this must have happened when i rubbed against a curb or something, but I'm not sure. Anyway, I only had them 2 weeks so I called Zappos - being as amazing as Zappos is, they replaced the shoe and the problem was solved. Just today, I was in a hurry and slipped a little on the sidewalk, resulting in me needed to drag my toe for a second. When I looked down, the sole wrap up the front of the toe had separated. For now, this is manageable, but I feel it will continue to wear down over time. This stinks, but I still love the shoe.So, with that being said, i knocked off a star due to durability - other than that, 5 star shoe.

Purchasing a shoe on-line without trying it on first is a little daunting, but the moment I tried these on, not only did they fit perfectly, they felt like bedroom slippers on my feet they are so comfortable. "Asics" has been my preferred street running shoe for a long time, but I'm training for an all terrain run this summer and needed this extremely well made, rugged soled shoe to handle the rocks, rivers, and mountain trails I'll be running through. I highly recommend this shoe for off-road running. By the way, I picked this race to do something a little radical to celebrate my 60th birthday! Thanks, Zappos!

This is my 3rd pair. My last two were the Nimbus 12's. I don't really see a difference. Still a great shoe! I get bad shin splints and these help. Great support!

Good looking shoe. Very comfortable. A very well cushioned foot bed. I wear a size 10.5 in a dress shoe. 11.5 in this shoe fit just right. I would recommend this shoe to anyone.

I like these shoes a lot. I had another similar pair, that I had bought about a year ago. I must compliment Zappos for great service. I did have a problem with the other pair. I called in and asked for assistance. They sent me a brand new pair of shoes and paid for the freight both ways. I am totally pleased with both pairs I have purchased so far. Thank you very much

These shoes are wonderful. I wear a 5½ medium and no stores in the county carries shoes that small. Right out of the box, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. There is no rubbing, no sore spots, it is like going barefoot but better. I do not wear socks with these shoes and they do not hurt or rub. I am 67 and have bad feet, these shoes are perfect for me. I cannot say enough good things about these shoes. Also they arrived so quickly!

Very happy at how comfortable these sneakers are! The fit is true to size, with moderate arch support.

I like Asics but these pair just hurt my wide feet. I love the look of the sneaker and being that's its all leather its easy to clean. However when I run on the treadmill my feet hurt and I realized that they weren't good for me.

Great fit, cost reasonable, well made. I use New Balance stuff, but this brand is gaining favor with me.

Good to great arch support, I have a high arch and narrow feet. Wear these daily for gym work. Asics fit exactly as described. This particular style might be slightly snugger fitting than the others I have tried.

The shoe strings were to short. They also were very tight to fit. All this review was from just trying the shoe on.

Shoes are awesome. Exactly what I expected them to be. I had a pair almost like them before and it was easy to pick the correct size.

Fantastic shoe! Great waterproofing on the uppers, and great cleat placement. Memory foam at heel quickly molded to my foot. First day walked 18... No problem.

This is a great shoe! Worth every penny. I had absolutely no problems. I took them right out of the box and they fit perfect. I have flat feet and weigh 195. These shoes give good support, and fabulous cushioning. It felt like I was wearing pillows. I often have a hard time tying to find a shoe that fits just right. But these shoes were great right out of the box. No first time blisters. No concern about having to break them in. They were so good, it will be very hard to even think of ever buying anything else.

I love the look of the shoe, but it just didn't fit my slightly wide foot. I ordered a 7.5 then sent them back and reordered an 8, same result. I wished they would've fit. Maybe someone else will have better luck. Of course Zappos made all the exchanges and returns easy!
