Overall:

The Asics Gel-Nimbus 11 has been a fabulous find for me. They have superior cushioning in the forefoot, and very good arch support too. At 45 I already have arthritis in my toe joints, and I am on my feet a lot during the day, so these Asics have been a wonderful find!

For me this shoes was a great find. Bought about three weeks ago. Put them on and have worn them everyday.Great for walking,running and all around.As another person has said. The ties are offset and do make me keep looking @ them. But very comfortable. At first I did notice it takes a while for your foot to shape the shoe. I have problems with shoes so this was a great surprise and fine.I am buying two more.

This is my second pair of Asic Gel Nimbus II. As an RN in an Emergency Department I walk miles a day at work. I also am lucky enough to have chronic plantar fasciitis and find that these shoes have the very best cushioning for my feet as I walk, (and sometimes run), 12 hour shifts. They are light and I like the asymmetrical lacing. My feet are wide and I think I can get a better fit. I switch out with a pair of Nike Vomero shoes but I most often prefer these. As long as they make them I will keep on buying them.I wish they came in brown or black so I could wear them with more dressy outfits, too.

Nice, lightweight sneaker. Not enough cushioning to be a running or basketball shoe, but perfect for wearing to the gym. Plus the blue color just pops!

Overall:

Shoes are very comfortable but they are much narrower in the toe box then my previous 6 pairs of Asics (previous Asics were various styles, none of them were Nimbus). In fact, the Nimbus is too narrow for me. So please make sure you spend some time with them on your feet before cutting off the tags. I can't wear mine.

Repeat customer - I ordered a pack of 3 socks last year before moving to Singapore and liked them so much that I ordered another pack of 3. They are just enough coverage to protect my feet from my gym workouts and walking all around town in tennis and just low enough to be nearly no show. They hold up beautifully in the wash and are fantastic.

The shoes are great! I've been walking, and decided to help my aching feet, and buy a pair of good shoes. i went to a running store, that did not have my size, and was waiting on some shipments. after approx a month(stopping and calling twice)my husband ordered them online, and i had them in about two days. thanks!

I absolutely love these shoes. I checked for pronation levels and such before purchasing. While looking over other reviews from various sites, I noticed many people bought these over a whim or sale. For maximum comfort and support, I recommend people to try before they commit. That's one thing great about zappos! Furthermore, when I walk/run in these shoes, I can feel how much better they are than all my other running shoes.

I am a 51-year old neutral runner who began running about 4 years ago. I put on about 3-4 miles several times a week. For a number of years, I was a fan of New Balance, but recently decided to change to the Gel Nimbus 11 after reading a review of them in Running Magazine. These shoes are by far the best running shoes I've ever worn. They required no breaking in period; they were comfortable right out of the box. The toe box is roomy, and the "off center" lacing is just one more feature that helps support the foot properly. I definitely feel lighter on my feet these days, and I will buy more of these shoes (maybe in different colors to add variety to my life) after these have served their purpose. I got these because I had the Gel-Cumulus 10's and I really like them. Unfortunately these are nothing like their predecessor. The cushioning is much worse, I have yet to go for a pain free run in these. Also the padding in the upper part of the shoe is gone. The Cumulus 10's had a lot of upper cushion (it did make the shoe look bulky, but it was comfortable), these shoes did into the sides and top of my feet. They are very uncomfortable to run in. I would not recommend them at all.

I have been wearing Gel-Cumulus for over 4 years now. They are extremely comfortable with almost no break-in time. They provide the cushioning I need for my 215 lbs. body. I only buy them on Zappos because I can get the wide versions that are very hard to find elsewhere.

These shoes have lots of cushioning in them. I started running and bought these and when I first got them they rubbed blisters on my little toes. Gradually they got better and better, but I continued to alternate with other shoes and not wear these all the time. I wore these asics a little more and more, but as my mileage increased, when I reached 4-5 miles or more, they still rubbed blisters on my little toe which eventually turned into a blood blister. I think maybe if I had bought a half a size larger, these would be perfect, but I am afraid to spend another $140 or so to find out.

My first pair of Asics, these are great sneakers, very comfortable and fit true to size. I'm not much of a runner but I wear them when I go to the gym. They feel like they have a lot of support built into the soles and seem like they'll last me a long time!

These are excellent, reasonably priced shoes that are used for squash. They are comfortable with excellent cushioning. The only problem with them seems to be that the sizing is off. They run large, but seem to run very large on some people and not so much with others. I do not know anyone who has bought these without having to return them for another size. However, Zappos makes this very easy -- just order two -- your normal size and one size smaller and return the one that doesn't fit!

Runner's Review - I'm a serious runner who was looking for a comfortable and soft shoe. I usually just buy the newest Cumulus by Asics. These shoes are soft and feel "springy". The way the shoes lace it feels as though my arch and center foot are stable. The only complaint I have is the slick sock lining... I feel like my foot wants to slip out of the shoe. Besides the slippage I recommend these.

Very disappointed - I had the Nimbus 9 and they were the best shoes ever. I got the 10's and was disappointed that they did not have the same cushioning. I decided to give it one more try with the 11's and I think they are even harder than my 10's. I think I am going to return them.

For the price, these are my favorite pair of running socks. Run an average of 30-35 miles a week. These socks have a snug fit and do not slide in shoes. The elastic stays tight for longer than any other pair of socks I have bought. I will buy them again.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I have problems with my feet and had seen an article in Consumer Reports about these and how comfortable they are. They were right! I love them.

These shoes are very cute and feel pretty supportive. I put orthotics in my athletic shoes, so I can't comment on the regular arch support because I remove the factory insoles to make room for my own inserts. The one downside to this shoe for me was that the factory insoles are glued down to the footbed! Normally these insoles just pop right out and you can put in orthotics or other insoles. Not with these shoes! It took me about 10 minutes to remove all traces of the insoles (pieces were stuck stubbornly to the footbed that I had to pick off bit by bit). But now that I got that done, the shoes are great! Very cute, too. I just use them for walking the dog and light hiking, so can't really comment on trail running aspect.

Great fit and immediately comfortable. I bought inserts which I do not need because the shoe is ready to go out of the box. Fits true to size and I am very happy with it.

These shoes are great; comfortable and light weight. I have a hard time with the laces (making sure they are tight enough), but I think using a different lacing technique will solve that problem. Shoes are good looking, nice color and profile, compared to some of the other running shoes that I've had running stores fit me for. I can't speak to the arch support, because I replaced the insert with an orthotic that I purchased at a running store (I have extremely flat feet). This shoe is supposed to be good for people who over-pronate, and the insert looked adequate, so I imagine it is good. Great shoe, and a great price.

Great shoe for all running levels.I was fitted for these shoes at a local running store. Unfortunately, they didn't carry my size in the color I wanted. Enter Zappos. I was so pleased they carried AA width. These shoes are great for mild pronators, like me, who need a little extra stability and great cushioning. Reminder to those who haven't been professionally sized: You'll probably need to go up a FULL size from your dress shoe size. Great shoe and as always, great service from Zappos!
