Overall:

Super fast shipping from Zappos. Awesome, great boots, nice arch support. I found the boots to fit true to normal shoe size; if you are going to wear thick, thick socks, I would go 1/2 size bigger. As soon as I got them I put them on and walked around the house. The heel was a little snug and I was worried, but within 5 minutes, if felt comfortable. Didn't really need any break in time. Super comfortable. Nice boots, very glad I got them.

What I needed was a boot that was good around the stable/paddock and for riding. According to others reviewing on this shoe, it runs a full 1/2 size big. Thought that would work great for me because I use orthotics. Well, it was too large even with my orthotics. \r\n\r\nSo I ordered a 1/2 size down. This is the most comfortable boot for working around the stable and just as good for riding.

Beautiful. Handsome details. Comfortable except the right shoe is tight across the top. Kept them anyway because they are leather and will stretch. Exceptionally nice with pants of all sorts.

Buying the shoes was easy! Zappos sold me an attractive and excellent value shoe that initially was too big so I returned them and had the right size the very next day! It is an easy way to shop and having the box at the door was fun after a day at work!

Very comfortable and true to size--may be a bit wide if you have narrow feet. Mine are on the wide side. Bought these shoes for my trip to Japan, where slip ons are essential because you have to take your shoes off so much. Wore them on the plane. I\'m short and the extra height helped to make the long plane ride more comfortable. I usually have to put my feet up on something because my feet don\'t always touch the ground flatly. Looks dressy enough to wear around Tokyo. Great fall pants shoes. Got a bit scuffed up because I wore them on a short hike. I would recommend them.

Got these boots to wear to an outdoor wedding in the fall. They were quite comfortable and kept me at least warm enough not to think about being cold. I generally wear a size 9 shoe but found the 9.5 fit more comfortably, especially with thick socks. If I got a 10, I\'d probably put an insert to cushion the bottom a little more. Overall though great.

The boots came promptly, and were exactly what I'd hoped they would be. I own an older pair of Ariat boots, and wear them constantly. This new pair looks just as good, and they are comfortable to wear, and walk around the city, all day.

Had to have these stylish boots which look fabulous with jeans or a longer skirt. They are made very well, are certainly sturdy and true to size. But more than all that, they are comfy! Haven't worn them for riding, yet.

These are the most comfortable boots ever. I tried over a dozen pairs of boots until I finally settled on these. I recently broke my back and had to find cute shoes without a high heel. I can stand for hours in these without any pain and my feet never hurt the next day. I gave them a 4 on style because the calf is just a bit big, but I have large feet for my size and maybe they\'d fit a taller person. I can still wear them with leggings or underneath a pair of jeans. The toe and sole are less bulky than many boots, so they work with my suit pants, too! The buckles add a classy touch. All Ariat seem to run about a half size large. I\'m normally a 9.5, but I purchased the 9s and they fit perfectly. I would highly recommend them to someone who is looking for stylish, comfortable boots.

I love my boots! I have worn them several times where I've had to walk a lot, shopping, concert, football games and they are very comfortable. I've received a number of compliments on them! They run true to size; I had ordered them a half size bigger thinking since they were boots I would need to, but ended up having to go back to my true size. I highly recommend them!

These are the perfect shoes if you need to spend hours on your feet! I love Ariat's technology to keep your hips and back from aching. They look great with a suit, or casual wear. Zappos has the right price and ships in a hurry.

I recently discovered that I have plantar fasciitis & tendinitis in my left foot. I guess having slightly wide, flat feet isn't a good thing! The 4"+ heels I wore over the years didn't help either. My left foot was really bothering me when doing a lot of walking or standing for long periods of time. I needed to find comfortable shoes. I came across these Ariat shoes & thought I'd give 'em a try. These shoes are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own! I have Dansko, Keen, Clarks, but they've got nothing on these shoes! They're really light & it's like you're walking on air. I highly recommend them.

These Boots are very nice. They look great and the fit is close and comfy. I did add toe pads since I do not usually were heels at all (I know that\'s not much of a heel) so I needed the exta cushioning. I wear them often and plan to buy another Ariat Boot in Black.

These are really great looking clogs. They do have a clog look but not overwhelmingly so. I usually wear a 9 1/2 or 10. It depends on the shoe. I ordered these in a size 10. I found them to be a tad short (more so in my right shoe), so that by the end of the day I can\'t wait to take them off. It could be my feet being off-sized, I don\'t know. Otherwise, the shoes are made well and will last a long time.

This is the best shoe I have ever worn. An airline flight attendant was wearing Ariat shoes. She told me they were the best. After I got home I checked out the Ariat name which led me to Zappos. Zappos has the best price on Ariat shoes and free shipping and return. You can\\\'t beat Zappos. Well, I have to tell you, this shoe fits beautifully from the moment you slip your foot into it--no breaking in time with this shoe. I pretty much plan my daily wardrobe around these shoes. I wear them everyday. I love them so much I bought the same shoe in the brown. I wish Ariat had this shoe in more colors, i.e., dark brown, bone, cordovan. I think the shoe is true to size. I wear and 7B and the 7B fits great. I pretty much plan on wearing all Ariat shoes now. They need to make a nice boot with this same design, with a zipper at the side. Everything just like the shoe, just tall to below the knee to wear with skirts.

I usually wear size 8, bought these boots in 7.5 and they fit great with thick socks. Attractive boot, good arch support and insole, I usually get ball of foot pain in all types of footwear, but not a bit in these; comfortable from the moment I put them on and even after full day and evening of wearing them. They do scuff but you could put protective finish on if that bothers you. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely look for more Ariat products. Exceptional quality at a very reasonable price.

Loved the look and feel of these shoes, but had to return them because the insole had a seam just under the ball of my foot. It really hurt after only a few minutes on, could never wear them for an entire day, and not something that would eventually work itself out. Don't know if another pair would have been the same, but didn't want to chance it.

Having a wide foot makes it difficult to find a cowboy boot that fits and is comfortable. Well Ariat Fatbaby is the answer. The boots are cute and stylish and accommodate a wide foot. The service from Zappos was excellent. Buy the boots; you'll love them!

I have never written a review before in my life, but I am so impressed with these boots I just have to share! I have been looking for the prefect pair of cowboy boots for about 7 years now and I have not had any luck. I could never even get the boots on my feet because of my large ankle/calf area, I could only wear boots that zippered. But these slid on easily and fit like a dream right out of the box! I ordered half a size larger because I was afraid they would fit like all the other pairs I have encountered. They are so comfortable, amazing!

New Ariat Walking Shoe. 1st a confession: I've bought a lot of shoes from Zappos, but these new Ariats were from another store. They are extremely comfortable, supportive but light and flexible, low cut around the ankles, low to the ground but stable. Removable insole, probably orthotics would fit. My foot has a narrow heel, med-wide across the ball, and sort of med to low volume, usually size 10/41. These have typical Ariat sizing: 10s = 41.5; 9.5s = 40.5. In Ariat boots I go down to 9 1/2; in these I took in 10's, and will wear med -heavy weight socks. My new go-to walk and travel shoes. Looks: kind of bowling shoes crossed with some Euro walker, funky but not clunky. Wear pants that cover some of the front!
