Ariat Reviews
Let me start off by saying I have another pair of Ariat Ropers in 11D that I bought last year. I ordered this new pair in 11D and Black (other one is tan.) Like other reviewers have noticed, Ariat clearly did something different with this boot. I too could not even get my foot into the boot! After much struggling I got it on. The size felt okay but I could barely get it off my foot without becoming a contortionist! They obviously use a different pattern for this boot. As usual, Zappos customer service was first rate and I did an exchange for a 12. They fit fine. So unlike most cowboy boots where you order a half size down, with these you have to order a half size up.
These socks are very comfortable for horseback riding. Got very quickly from Zappos, thank you!
Looking for some really nice boots for my birthday round-up...stylish and will be able to wear them again and again. Tight to get on right at first but the pop into the boot was just right.
Love these boots! Very comfortable and stylishly simple (just what I was looking for!)!
This is the second pair of Ariat jeans that I purchased. Ariats by far are my favorite jeans. They look nice, and have an extremely modern look while having a tinge of western flair (which seems to be in now). They look nice, fit perfectly on my waist, and I can move easily in them. I don't even need a belt to keep them up. I went horseback riding with my girlfriend and these were comfortable for the afternoon.
Amazing shoe! I have flat feet, bunions and lupis and these shoes are the only ones I can wear all day and still have happy feet. Wore them all day right out of the box! Bought them in black too.
My fairly new Ariat boots with a one-piece rubber or neoprene sole and heel started squeaking somewhere near the back of the right heel every time I put any weight on it while walking. Finally it became quite annoying and I couldn't stand it any more, so I decided to figure it out myself or quit wearing them. I pulled out the sole inlay or sweat barrier that also serves as a cushion inside the boot and noticed that the tops of the nails on the inside of the boot right above the heel all had bright shiny heads on them, meaning something had been rubbing on them and polishing them to keep them that shiny. Figuring that this might be the source of the squeaking, I sprinkled some Gold and Hammer talcum powder inside the boot on top of the nails and put the inlay back in. Squeaking has stopped. Ta-da!
The bright color, raspberry, drew me in, and when I checked out the great storage compartments, both inside and out, I knew it was the bag for me. Plenty of places to organize my stuff and very stylish. I use it as a handbag. Only problem I personally have is that the straps are wide and fall off my non-existent shoulders. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, though, and it was an excellent value. Considering the black for a winter bag.

I have been looking at these boots for a while now. I finally decided to order them and they were out of stock. But Zappos came through they sent an email when they restocked and I got received them in 17 hours! Wow, is that great or what?! Unfortunately they were really narrow and I couldn't wear them. When I compared them to my daughter's boots these boots ran really small but the heel was wide. No worries though I will return them with Zappos great return policy I won't have to pay a thing. Thanks Zappos, you rock!
Purchase at least 1/2 size larger. I had to put insoles in shoes and they are a bit tight. This is a very narrow shoe.
Great boots! I think I have been living in them.
I bought these for my daughter (16) and was lucky enough to catch them go on sale one day, even at full price they're a nice boot. She said they're comfortable and couldn't wait to wear them. They have a lot of detail without looking over the top. They ran true to size, she wears an 8 shoe and the 8 boot fit her just fine. Would like great with jeans, a dress, or with shorts for a young girl I guess.
Ariat boots are always comfortable and the Legends are no exception. Excellent craftsmanship and quality. The squared toe is very fashionable and because of this, I plan on wearing the boots in, of course western situations and for riding, but also for non-western situations. They run a bit large, I usually wear a nine, medium, the 8 1/2 fits me perfectly.
Well made, lightweight and great for organizing my stuff; I use all the pockets! No more searching for phone, pens, sunglasses or keys; there's a pocket for everything. I love it but wish there were more colors. Got the red one so there's contrast in the inside lining and easy to see the contents.
This is a perfect designed and made boot! I teach line dancing and wore the new boots for three hours first time out, with no problem.
These are good quality heavy duty riding boots with good support. I like the front zipper for easy on and off. I tried several other boots first, but these seem to be working well. I usually wear them with half-chaps. The only tip is that the leather is stiff and I had blisters after the first time I rode in them. But they are feeling much more comfortable now and I am happy with them.
I just received these boots from Zappos. The picture does not do them justice. They are absolutely beautiful! Buy these!
