When I initially put these on, I thought my search for the perfect shoe had come to an end. Aside from my Orthaheel house slippers I've never experienced such firm arch support and the soft material the shoe is made of is very comfortable and easy on my bunions. Alas, though, it was not to be. As soon as I started walking around, my foot kept slipping right out of the shoe. There is a handy elastic that allows you to tighten the fabric to fit your foot, but no amount of tightening kept my foot in the shoe. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to traveling to Europe in comfort with these shoes. I went on to try a few other Arcopedico shoes, but the arch of their other shoes is not properly aligned with the arch of my foot, so they did not provide as much support. I guess I'll keep looking...

I love these shoes! The leather is buttery soft and instantly comfortable, no breaking in period. They run small. I wear a 9 and ordered a size 40. I want to order more in more colors, although I am fond of this wasabi green. The metatarsal arch support is very comfortable. The shoe is very flexible. They are my new favorites.

Yummy soft leather in a shoe that combines comfort with style. The dorkyness potential is minimized by its distinctive strap placement. Huge warning though: the strap broke on one shoe the first time I walked in them while walking about Times Square, NY. Yet I loved them so much I ordered another hoping that was a fluke. So far so good. Thanks to Zappos for obliging.

This shoe is not marked properly in terms of width. Though it says M, it is too narrow. I have always worn a med width without difficulty. There is no other width option available in this shoe. The arch support is less than great as well. Oh dear, they must go back.

This is a cute casual flat, very soft leather. It is not wide enough in the vamp area to cover a bunion. Sadly, I have to return.

Absolutely one of the most comfortable walking shoes I've purchased in a long time! Very forgiving to my left foot bunion, also provide a more stylish look than the ever popular canvas sneaker. Will be taking these on my river cruise coming up in May.

The toes of these shoes are enormously wide. My foot was dancing inside. Also, a bit too small. The toe area is almost like paper so I was afraid after walking in the house a couple of days my big toe would be sticking out! Waste of money, went back big time.

The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! They are lightweight, flexible and they wear well. This is my second pair (I wanted a different color). They are perfect for wearing on long air flights since they will expand for swollen feet. I couldn't ask for more. I wear them all day almost every day.

I usually take a size 40 in this brand, but this style ran large on me by a size or two. probably a very comfortable shoe though, but not quite as structured on the upper shoe as I would like.

I wanted to wear these as slippers, as my entire downstairs is ceramic tile. I have plantar fasciitis, and wanted something that provided more support than most slippers do. These would be perfect if they weren't so wide. I have average width feet overall, though my heels are narrow. I usually wear a B or medium width, which these are supposed to be. However, unless I wear socks these slip on my feet, especially walking up and down stairs. I will say, I have found that I have the same problem with most European sized shoes. I so wish I could find shoes exactly like this, but narrower.

Too small - bought the 40 for my size 9.5 feet and they were too snug for comfort, even without socks. Strange because an Arcopedico 40 in another style fit me well.

I like this shoe, but it could use more arch support and is a bit wide. It shouldn't need the elastic strap. I worry about the durability of that design. I wish there were a 10.5.

These shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box. They did not need a break in period. They seem very well made and are cute in a funky sort of way. I get numerous compliments when wearing them. My only caution is that the three elastic straps cause indentations on the top of my feet by the end of the day.

Cute shoes. I have three other pairs of Archopedico shoes and all fit perfectly and are good for walking all day. This one, in the same size, is too short. Also a bit loose in the heel.

I love these shoes. This is my thitrd pair and the last about 7-8 years. And they still look good. machine washable, easy to pack, even look a little dressy because of the delicate crocheted fabric. Also great if you have bunions or anything else that markes wearing hard leather or other materials uncomfortable. I also have them in black sueded mesh...very pretty like ballet slippers.

The first pair I ordered were orange, and very cute, but also felt like my toes were going to bust through the fronts of the shoes. I had to order an 11, and I never wear an 11. Of course, the orange was sold out in that color, so I went with red. They almost as cute, very comfy, and I love that they just collapse. I broke my ankle/leg/foot back in August 2013, and finding shoes to fit me is impossible now. These fit the bill, are in style, like ballerina shoes, and super comfy. Pricey for what they are made of, but then again, when you have hard to fit feet, you'll pay almost anything.

They're cute but not exactly what is pictured. I have to return this item because they're too small (I wear a size 8, but the size 7-8 is a bit too snug). However, one of the aspects of the shoe that I liked - which was the two straps that cross the top of the foot - is not what I got. The shoes I received have just a single strap across the top of the foot. Not a huge deal, and if the shoes fit I probably wouldn't return them just because of that, but the photo should be changed, in my opinion.

These shoes felt perfect right out of the box. I have trouble wearing flats as they slip off of my heel, but the straps on this shoe prevent the slipping. The bronze color is true to color and dresses the shoe up. I felt like the arch support was good, but I don't usually have problems with my arches so may not be as obvious to me. Stylish little shoe that will be great for knocking around.

I brought these shoes with me to Paris for 8 days and wore them every single day. Walked on different surfaces and found great stability, my feet were in heaven for daily 12-16 miles trek around the city. The best part is I rinsed them in the sink at the end of the day to clean off the sand/dirt from the parks; just avoid getting water on the zippers and your shoes stays dry in the rinse off.

I spend a lot of time on my feet. My big dogs are flat and sport two bunions. Fortunately, these shoes are like walking on clouds. Very light weight and cute with jeans and skirts. I'm considering the same shoe in a different color.

These are very comfortable shoes that require no break-in whatsoever. They run a bit small but I'm keeping them!
