This shoe is just like the picture, and very cute. I typically wear an 8.5, but found this to run a bit small (I ordered the 39), so I am returning it for the 40. Once it is a little less snug, I think it will be quite comfortable. The backs of them rubbed quite a bit (again, may be a size issue, or may be something that needs to be broken in in general). I am giving this shoe 5 stars becausec they are well-represented by the picture, and I think ordering a size up will work. (Note: I ordered two different styles of shoes in a 39, and this one felt small while the other felt like it fit more true to size, which is what leads me to think this may run a bit small.)

I tried to give this 2 stars overall but 5 stars filled in and the site won't let me change them! grrrrr...I bought these shoes for work, because they have a removable insole, but parts of the shoe are so narrow that my insole, (after 6+ months is wearing a hole through the sides). Also, if you do have foot problems, the base of the shoe is so slender that it still allows my foot to pronate off to one side, even with my fancy orthotic insoles. Decent enough considering I wear them every day, they've lasted for awhile, although in the first week 3 out of 4 of the little metallic clips holding the "shoe strings" popped off, so I've had to knot them since the beginning. Looks slightly less stylish that way.

I love Arcopedico shoes, and this one seemed a good idea for a trip to Europe which would include a lot of walking. But sad to say, the toe box is just too wide for my foot, even though the heel fit fine and that is where I needed the narrow to be. So there was not the support I needed. I loved the material and color and wished European sizes had more widths. Returned but will not give up on Arcopedico.

The shoe is comfortable and molds to your foot. It has a good arch support and is easy to wear or walk in for an extended period. It is suprisingly light and weighs very little. I did think that the shoe runs short. I normally wear 8-1/2 shoes and ordered based on that but had to move up a size. The customer support was very nice and helpful when an exchange was needed. I would give customer support and A+ for sure.

Bought these for my mother, who has hammer toes and other foot deformities caused by arthritis. Not only do they run very small (the 39, equivalent to a US 8.5-9 according to the size chart, felt like a US 7-7.5) but the toe box is not nearly large enough to accommodate serious hammer toes comfortably. They are very light weight and very cushy inside and have good arch support, so probably would be quite comfortable for someone with normal feet. But order at least a size up!

These are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever put on! I did need to put my orthotics in, as I needed more support - and there was plenty of room. My feet feel like they are on clouds. I have walked miles and miles in them, from the first day I got them. The leather is super soft and that's a big part of the comfort.

I was so happy to see that Arcopedico was making a sandal with a little bit of style. I got the sparkly black ones, and I love them, though I think all 4 sparkle-tweedy colors are trippy. I would say these are on the wide side, which is good for me. Not sure how the arch support will play out after I've worn the shoes a bit; I think it will improve. The heel (2") is a little high for distance walking for me, but otherwise it's a great summer shoe.

This is a really cute shoe, but it has absolutely no cushion in the foot bed and feels quite hard. The straps do adjust but I had to start with them as tight as they would go, and I do not have a narrow foot. I was afraid that with wear they would stretch and any bigger would not stay on my foot. When I considered the price I had to return them. Thank you Zappos, you are hands down the best, and my only place to go for shoes!

Awesome shoe. My cousin bought them for our trip to Peru. She liked them so much that I tried them on and bought a pair as soon as I got home. Fit like a glove. Super comfy. And vegan. Great shoes!

These shoes are wonderful. I have them in two colors for work. I am still wearing my old ones for casual - they have been with me for 5 years, and I walked all over Italy in them! They do take a little time to break-in, but in the long run, the support and comfort are worth it! I wish they came in wide, but I have only seen them in one width.

I know other people have said this, but truly I have the world's worst feet. I have a huge hammertoe that sticks up and is painful in closed toed shoes - except these boots! It is so exciting to find something that I can actually wear for an extended period of time without being in so much pain.

Has become my favorite everyday shoe. So comfortable for my foot that is beginning to have a bunion issue. Great inner sole for all over comfort!

I have two pair of Arcopedico -- these and the Flower. I bought the Flower in size 43 -- too big, but I kept them and put in an insert. Better. Very comfy. Bought these in 43. I usually wear a 11 or 11.5 Fit great except one rubs the back of my upper heal. Toe box very roomy. My feet are narrowish so I did not find any binding across the top of my foot from the straps. I'm going to order another pair, probably in 42, not 43.

I bought these shoes because they looked like a good walking shoe instead of tennis shoes. They are light weight for packing but have support. I think they are really cute and comfortable!

I would have gone up a size on these, but I wear a 12 so I was already in the biggest size they had. They felt like 11 or 11.5. The width was OK (note that I have very slightly wide feet -- not enough to get wides but sometimes mediums don't work). If your feet are true mediums or a tiny bit wide, these should be OK in width. The elastic on top was a little tight for me. It probably would have eventually been fine. I do have "tall" feet with meat on them. If your feet are smaller in scale, then they will work better. The leather is very soft and lovely, and the shoes are very cushion-y and feel as if they'd be great for a long day of walking during travel. If not for the shortness, I would have kept them. I ended up getting the Earth Clover instead, so if you have very slightly wide or meaty feet with narrow-ish heels, that might be a good choice for you.

I love these shoes! I have been suffering with some plantar fasciitis pain and these cute little shoes have the best arch support I have found! I've gotten complements too.

These shoes were a total disappointment -- they are too short, not a real 42, not cushioned enough for a shoe advertised as comfortable for walking, and they actually hurt my feet. I do not think they are worth their price.

Having a black pair, my daughter ordered the navy and brown for me. These are great...having ordered size-wise, from the pair I owned. Re: the black pair...they were life savers after surgery when my ankles and feet became swollen. If I had not had the pair I had..would not have been able, successfully, to do the P.T. for after hip surgery. Now, no ankle problem...but a joy to wear...very versatile shoe, right?

I bought these shoes over a year ago and have worn them many times. I love the elastic laces! I live in an area with a long cold winter and these are my go-to shoes for easy jumping between boots and shoes. I teach and am on my feet and running around most of the day. These shoes are very comfortable, provide plenty of support, and they are light weight. I like how they look too. I logged on to see if they come in colors other than black. I think they are worth the cost!

I read a review that says this style runs a little large - so instead of my usual European 37 I ordered 36. These shoes are perfect and very comfortable. The purple goes with many of my outfits and looks great with white crop leggings and any color top. Because I totally love shoes, I have put both the green and white flower print in "my favorites."

I ordered these - like all the rest of you - to accommodate my bunions. I also wanted a small, lightweight shoe that I could pack in a carry on for work trips (my work is dress casual, and these are ok - though they border on the "I'm retired" look). They do fold incredibly flat, and make even a larger foot seem smaller. The upper is soft and comfortable, though I can't speak to durability. I am a 9.5 U.S. sizing and ordered the 41, but my toe pushed the end of the shoe so I felt they run small - and the arch support, which is molded into the sole, was too far back, which would have caused a blister on my arch. I am returning them and trying the next size up (remaining optimistic and loving Zappos return policy).
