I ordered this style a few years ago, and I haven't found any shoes more comfortable that I would wear to work. Gym shoes are not suitable for my work, though they'd possibly be more cushiony. I see other similar Aravons, but I haven't tried them. I just wanted more of this style because I have worn them daily for about 5 years and have been very satisfied. They're coming apart on the inside near the achilles, so I think I need a new pair. I get that they're not so beautiful or stylish. With slacks they're not bad looking. I wear thick orthotics, which are nicely accommodated in these. I have never had any problem with rubbing or seams. In all, I've been happy with these. I just ordered a pair in black and brown. The brown is a nice color, not ridiculously coppery or reddish.

This is more of a boat than a shoe. There is absolutely no arch support, and it more of an oversized slipper fit.

These are the most comfortable sandals ever... I wore them all day right out of the box with no issues. That NEVER happens to me with my wide feet and bad knees. They are a bit expensive but the comfort level is worth the price. I felt like they were custom made for me.

These are wonderful shoes even for my hard-to-fit feet. They run wide which is perfect for me and my bunions. Comfy, supportive and cute. If you need a wide toe box These are great even in a medium width!

Comfortable but a little high on the ankle.

These were actually more attractive than pictured. The straps across the top of the feet are adjustable so they work well for problem feet. The only complaint I have is the straps are very stiff and ungiving so they can get uncomfortable.I actually have the same shoes in black and the straps are softer and more comfortable. Aravon, because of the adjustable straps, are the only shoes I have found that work for painful, difficult to fit feet so I am glad Zappo's carries them.

Oh, what beautiful, well-fitting shoes these are and worth every cent I paid for them! I love them. they are so comfortable and well made. The color is fabulous for autumn. I will look for more shoes made by this company in the future.

Ok, I am on my fourth pair of Aravon Mila sandals. Do I love them, or what? I wore the first pair out last summer trapsing around LA and NY. The second pair went with me to Europe and a few islands along the way. And I just ordered two pair for next summer. I have a narrow foot, so it's always been difficult to find comfortable sandals that don't slip and slide with every step. With both straps adjustable, it makes comfort optimal. In the morning, a little tighter, and in the evening, I can adjust the straps to be a little looser. I find the Aravon Mila true to size with great support. The heel height is just right, not too high and not too low. I am a true 8 Narrow in these sandals and the sizing has proved consistent all along. Oh, and they look great with trouser jeans, skinny jeans, capris, skirts, and dresses. I just supplied up for next summer!

Fabulous shoe! I loved it so much I bought second pair in another color. Very comfortable, a step up from a pair of sneakers!

I liike the looks of these shoes and the color. However, they were laced so tightly I couldn't get my foot into the shoe without redoing the laces. Further, when I measured the sole against other shoes of the same size and width, this shoe was almost a quarter of an inch narrower than the others. However, when I finally got my foot into the shoe, they felt ok.

I love the style of this shoe. Although it's reminiscent of an old lady orthopedic shoe, it has an enduring sturdiness and classy 40's look, I think it looks up to date and fashionable and can sub for a bootie ( which is too hot and stifling for me). This shoe runs big, big, big. I ordered both the 7 and 7.5 wide-- way too big. I'm reordering in a 7 medium width and a 6.5 wide to see if that helps. I want this shoe, and hope I get used to this company's sizing, as it is a New Balance company, making shoes for problem feet-- baby boomer toes! Walked for 12 hours + a day in high heels throughout my working life, and paying for it now in retirement with crippled feet. Should have listened to my father who advocated getting the best mattress and the best quality shoes you could afford. Smart man. Thank you Zappos. With problem feet it is harder than ever to find the right shoes in a brick and mortar store. You have an endless supply of sizes, widths and styles; returns and exchanges are no problem. Customer service reps are fantastic to talk to when necessary.

Way too long, and too wide for my problem feet. I have wide toes with bunions and narrow heels-- this shoe runs big all over. Very comfortable for my bunions and stretchy along the top and back, I could see that this shoe could be heavenly for someone other than me but it pinched along the top of my foot. Also the arch didn't hit where it should on my foot. The only shoe that gets the right arch position for me is either Spring Step or Trotters. Ordered 7 wide, 7 reg, 7.5 wide, 7.5 reg. All too big- like a man's shoe?

I really wanted this shoe to work because it is so cute and it is orthotic friendly but alas, even the AA was too loose in the heel. I tried going down a half size and it still was too loose on my heel. The Aravon shoe that worked for me was the REVShow which is a mary-jane style with a strap in a 10AA. Thanks Zappos for your wonderful customer service and no shipping both ways! For those of us with foot "issues" you are a blessing!

SUPER comfortable! After two broken feet I have trouble finding cute 'orthopedic' shoes that fit properly. Adjustable straps for times that I my feet still swell a bit, plenty of room in the toe box, no metatarsal pain. Thrilled with this purchase!

Love this shoe! Wish it came in more colors? I would buy 5 pairs! :) Hope they re-release it. I had to order "up" a half size.

The insole of the shoes is comfortable but it doesn't have the arc support I need. The top line of the shoe is too high and rubs against my ankles. I work 8 hrs. straight standing up more than walking. I need good arch support. The shoes in general felt to hard and kind of cheap looking.
