I\'ve newly discovered this brand and love it. This sandal allows the foot to sit down inside of the cupped footbed and provides great arch support. It\'s waiting in my closet for next summer.

Let me begin by saying I had surgery and have a screw in my ankle. I was planning a trip to Paris and wanted comfortable walking shoes that didn\'t look like big white American sneakers. These were perfect. From the first time I wore them, they were comfortable and I didn\'t get blisters or sore feet. I tried an 8 1/2 wide and a 9 regular. I ended up with the 9. These shoes are worth the price.

Best shoe I've ever worn. Gives support in all the right places. True to size and width. I'm happier with the shoe than I thought I would be. I have major back trouble, and this shoe gives support right where I need it. I can be on my feet all day without pain due to the shoe.

I bought these shoes last Friday for a Wedding in SF this weekend. Was so tired of my 'cheap' black dress shoes and knew we would be doing tons of walking so I gulped at the price, but bought them anyway. What a great investment (although I have to say I paid a little less at an area shoe store than through Zappos). They are amazingly comfortable and I even got compliments on the style from the 20-something crowd. I wore them all day Saturday an then again all day Sunday and loved them. I hated to take them off to go to bed! They only come in whole sizes, so that may be a problem for some, but, even though they felt a tiny bit large (and I normally wear an 8 across the board) in the store, they come with an extra insole that is easily slid in that made the fit perfect. I will remember this brand for future shopping.

Love this shoe. I recently dislocated my right ankle and broke my right fibula; super painful! This is the only shoe that I can wear that provides me enough support post-injury (with room to swell) and is also stylish enough to wear to work. Love it!

Wonderful shoes. Find myself gravitating to it over and over again at the expense of others in the closet. Ironically, thought I\'d made a awful mistake when I first purchased them. The shoe felt \'heavy\'. Took out the insole which were causing the problem and have been delighted ever since.

Great shoe! My foot is a borderline wide-double wide. Zappos let me try both sizes! I usually wear an 8 1/2, but the 8 fit fine. Very adjustable and extremely comfortable.

Yes, these shoes were great! I attended a wedding in Ireland and wore the shoes to the wedding and danced in them all night. In Ireland the weddings go for a long time, not like here in the States where after the bride and groom cut the cake most people leave within 20 minutes or soon after that. They were also great for walking and sightseeing and walking on the cobblestone streets in Dublin, Cork, Galway! Slainte!

I bought my first pair of Aravon Katys for summer and wore them as my everyday walking shoe. They are great for travel because of the wonderful supportand they look feminine. I have gotten the black ones to use for winter and will likely wear them with socks so I can continue to have the comfort and support.\r\nLike others who have reviewed these shoes, I found the squeeking to be bothersome but finally learned to remove the insole and spray the underside with WD-40. Part of the secret to the shoes comfort seems to be the combination of pieces in the insole, but they do rub against each other. Putting WD-40 between the sections took care of the squeek!

These sandals are exceptionally comfortable. The straps are adjustable. The sole beds are removable, if you use custom inserts. However, the removable sole beds that come with the sandals are very supportive as well. I originally purchased a pair in bronze, my preferred color. I decided to purchase black as well, because of the superior comfort, although stylistically they are not as good as the bronze color.

I love Aravon shoes, at least so far. I ordered these and when they came, I realized that I hadn't seen the stretchy stuff on the top. I thought the x-straps were just straps, with nothing under them. I don't like the look of the stretchy stuff and wouldn't have ordered them if I'd seen it in the picture. I tried them on anyway, but I think this particular shoe just isn't for me. Weight wasn't distributed to the whole shoe like it was for my other Aravon shoes (Mia - fantastic shoes!) but toward the front. At least I can send them back to Zappos and I've lost nothing but the time it takes to order and send back.

I love these shoes! They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They have plenty of room in the toes which is a problem I find with most other shoes. They look great with dresses or slacks.

I recently bought these shoes for a trip to Europe so that I would have a dressier shoe with me. They are incredibly comfortable and stable for walking on all those cobblestones and bricks that define European streets and walkways. The shoe does run on the wide side and given that my foot is on the narrow side of a "B" width, I had to use the inserts that came with the shoe to take up some of the volume. I think the shoes are very flattering to the foot, the strap hits the ankle just right and does not dig, but holds securely. I am very happy to own these shoes!

The Aravon Jodi fits just as it is supposed to. I wear a wide shoe and this fits just right with no rubbing. It is true to size. The adjustable strap keeps the shoe on while wearing orthotics. The shoe looks better than I thought with pants. The toe is pointy enough to look good and roomy enough to be comfortable. A tad more cushioning would make it perfect. Foot and back problems make finding shoes a real problem for me and I am very happy with Aravon\'s Jodi.

I really like this shoe. I got it to wear with black pants when going to a gathering when I know I will be standing for 2-3 hours. They are great for that. I wish I could still wear snazzy heels for that length of time but those days are over. These are comfortable well made and trendy. I am happy with my choice. I wear a 10 and have a medium width foot. The fit was true to size.

This shoe is absolutely perfect for anyone with metatarsal pain due to a stretched plantar ligament! The incline is neutral and prevents the trauma created by higher heels. Zappos was amazing! Since I tried several shoes, (including the Finn Tallinn), it was very demanding, but they consistently delivered shoe after shoe until I found the right one. My orthotics fit comfortably and I am now pain free. I look forward to replacing the orthotic with Aravon\'s original, comfy insole when the ligament problem is resolved.

I slipped these shoes on for the first time and wore them for hours. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I have an extremely high arch and was able to wear the Aravon Mayas without pain. They will travel to Europe with me this month and I expect to wear them a lot. I wanted a shoe that would dress up a bit, and still support my feet while I walked. These will do it. They are not quite as high an arch as my Dansko shoes, but they offer a little more style.

I bought this shoe for a recent trip to Europe with plenty of walking involved. Other than one hot spot on the top of one foot where the straps overlap, which eventually worked itself out, they were very comfortable. The foot bed sinks in and molds to your feet. The style was quite versatile and looked good with pants and skirts. I got the mottled red and black and found the color striking and interesting. I take a 10 1/2 or 11 and found the 11 a bit big so ordered the 10. I would have been even happier with this shoe if I could have got it in a 10 1/2.

A very comfortable shoe. The straps adjust easily and provide a perfect fit. It\'s also an attractive shoe, prettier in real life than in the picture! Though I usually wear an 8D, I found a more snug, comfortable fit in a 9B.

I had high hopes for this shoe being it was made by Aravon a New Balance company. I was expecting a shoe which offered good support in the foot bed, especially since it\'s tied to New Balance. Other shoes in this price range offer good support. I was disappointed.

This is more a review of Zappos than of this shoe. I received it on a Monday, it is a little too small (my fault), it seems like a very well-made and sturdy shoe, also good-looking, so i called Zappo\\\'s and told them i needed a larger size, this was late in the afternoon. The very next day the replacement shoes are at my house, i haven\\\'t even had a chance to box up the original pair. The customer service is not only speedy but it is extremely polite and professional. I just love shopping at Zappos, every online store should be this way.
