AVOID! I purchased this belt roughly 2 months ago and the very thin leather backing has already torn along the stitching... pretty disappointing particularly because AE footwear wears like iron in my experience. While it is a nice looking belt, I plan to return it and get another style instead. Because the backing is very thin, this seems to be a flawed design and a product to avoid.

This is a very nice causual belt. It has a nice padded feel and feels very substantial. I think the leather with contrast stitching looks great. Very nice and solid feeling buckle as well. I will be rotating this with a couple of other belts, so hopefully it will last a long time. If I find some durability issues I will try to update this review.

We gave this as a gift to our 30-something son. Both he and my husband are big fans of Allen-Edmounds! This is a high quality belt with handsome stitching. It is a dress-up or dress-down accessory. Plus, you can't beat the fantastic customer service from Zappos!
