Allen-Edmonds makes a great shoe. The Walton's are a very solid shoe, a little like the TV show used to make the family appear. :)

These are ridiculously comfortable-- I can't believe I'm wearing dress shoes-- and they look great with jeans, khakis, or a suit. Absolutely worth the price.

Another Allen Edmonds jewel. This shoe is made with a last (#3) that I find to be perfect for a pretty normal foot structure. I wear a 10D in just about every other shoe and my 10D Walton's fit perfect. I had a concern about my slightly high instep, but the Walton accommodates this with ease. As far as flexibility of dress goes, I wear these with both business and business casual dress and feel that they look great with both. This makes me feel much better about spending this much on a pair of shoes. Lastly, the Allen Edmonds recrafting process is another incredible service/capability that will lead to a decade plus of enjoyment of these shoes. I highly recommend the AE Walton.
