Great looking shoe but did not work for my foot. Remember, quality shoes are made from lasts designed to fit a particular type of foot. I have a high instep, so this shoe just did not fit comfortable for me as it is made for people with long, narrow feet. Only reason it is not 5 stars across the board, is it did not work with my foot.

The most uncomfortable shoes I've ever owned. I've had them for 6 months and the leather simply won't break in. They haven't given at all.

Great shoe - worth the money and American made. Zappos speed is amazing. I will be buying another pair without the detail on the cap.
I'd also recommend: Testoni, Ferragamo

Freakishly good shoes. I fell in love with these shoes on the site and had to have them. Once I put them on my love only grew. These shoes are gorgeous. The walnut stain is a thing of beauty. The feel of the calfskin is like a slipper. I don't want to take these shoes off.

Allen-Edmonds are simply the best men's shoes available. They trend towards dressy styles, and the suede cap-toe shoe is one of them. I think suede is a great alternative to black dress shoes for Fall wear. These were ordered in my regular size and were easy to wear right out of the box. They also can be refurbished to new condition with their "Recrafting" service. Unfortunately A-E shoes are rarely discounted.

It\'s like it\'s designed to make your foot look short and stubby. The part with the laces is usually long, and the cap on the toe is unusually short. Put it next to similar styles from other makers, and the same size shoe will look much shorter and stubbier in the Fifth Avenue. Also really dug into my foot in an odd place, in all sizes I tried.
