Alegria

It's official, I know own an trendy funky expensive pair of clogs! And I love them! I live in Alaska and if you aren't wearing boots, you're wearing Danskos. Try and try as I might, I could not wear Danskos...they are so uncomfortable for my feet. I think it was the toe, too round. With the Alegria the toe is a bit more squared. A lady in my office bought a pair of the classics, I tried them on and thought...hey these might work. I bought the full clog so that even in snow I could wear them. I also like Debra style because your sock won't show like in the mary jane style. The sizes are European so if a shop in your area sells them, try a pair on before buying from Zappos so you can pinpoint size a bit more. I'm an 8.5 but I was a 38 or 39 depending on the Alegria styles I tried on. Zappos prices were also competitive compared to the store. I love them, crazy comfortable. Now the biggest question is, what color to get next.

First, what I love: The oil-slick snake/gator pattern is remarkably neutral and coordinates well with anything I wear. Zero break-in period Soft and breathable insole Soft uppers that molded to my bunions by the second day I wore them. Cons: I have flat feet so while the insole is supposed to mold itself to your foot, it's not going to provide me with any substantial arch support. I plan to buy an arch cookie to glue to the inside of the shoe (I've done this successfully w/ other shoes - Tacco is an excellent choice). Misc: This shoe runs a bit wide b/c normally standard (medium) width shoes are a smidge too tight due to my bunions and these were not. Also, I usually wear a size 41 and in this brand, a 41 was way too big. The 40 is perfect. I am a nurse and wear these for work. The leather in this pattern is softer than the ones with patent type uppers which I found to be very stiff.

Wow! These fabulous shoes are like heaven for my feet! I love the style, the feel, and the fact that I'm wearing an open-heel shoe that doesn't seem as if it's going to come off while I'm walking!

Very cute shoe; however, the velcro adjustable straps are very limited and not enough to truly adjust. The back strap was impossible to adjust, very small amount of fastening material. Too bad, I liked the shoe, had to return.

These shoes are absolutely beautiful. I have tried to make them work for me, but alas, it rubs between the toes and I think my foot is a tad too wide as well.

I love my comfortable Alegria Karmen sandals. The black snake finish is so much fun. I recently had ankle surgery and these are one of the few shoes that have enough Velcro to accommodate my swollen foot. They have great support for my low arched feet and plenty of shock absorbing material in the sole of the shoe. I wear size U.S. 8½ to 9 medium width and the Alegria Karmens size 39 fit me perfectly. These sandals make me and my feet very happy.

Okay, maybe it was the fact that I tried these in a solid color (the plum) -- but I am of the opinion that this is one of the ugliest shoes ever. I think if I had to be on my feet all day, and had to make it work, I could get over it. Maybe in a print they'd be a bit cuter. I have the plum in the 'Paloma' style and like them very much. Abbi went back.

Cute shoe, very comfortable. I think I just need to get through a breaking in period on my left foot (which is the larger one). Listen to the sizing that is listed for this shoe. I am typically a 38 in Danskos and needed this shoe in a 37.

These sandals are very well made, very comfortable, and very cute! I am able to do a lot of walking because of the excellent support. I get so many compliments on how cute they are also. For me they are well worth the price!

Extremely comfortable and cushy but just too unflattering for my skinny legs and long feet. The toe box is very wide,giving a clownish effect for me. I'm sad to return them but still just too vain at age 64!

I am so excited over the Embossed Blue Alegria I received last week. I had previously worn the embossed brown. And a brown leather for two years with scrubs with brown and a color, I felt they were the most comfortable work shoe I had ever worn. They were the only shoe I can wear and not have my feet and legs hurt at the end of a busy 12 hour shift. After changing jobs 3 months ago and working at a hospital that wears Only Navy and White scrubs, I missed my Alegria shoes so much. My body felt exhausted . I saw the embossed Blue and was hesitant they would not look good with Navy. They are beautiful. I have so many compliments on them. My feet feel wonderful. When I started wearing the brown ones, several people ordered them after seeing how cute they are, I expect these will be the new status symbol for Navy Scrubs. My daughter wears the wine and roses shiny patent with Navy scrubs and thinks they were the best birthday gift ever. She and I both thought the style that did not have the cut outs near the buckles were a little narrow, and we neither have wide feet. She got the liners for a wide width. They are so cute they can be worn by anyone. Can't wait to get another pair.

Beautiful shoe, love the beading! The foot bed, although it isn't as supportive as regular Alegrias, is spongy and comfortable. The length of the foot bed is the same as other Alegrias but they are a little narrower. Unfortunately, the straps are quite loose. I will keep them because I love the way they look but I cannot wear them for extended periods or for lots of walking because they move around on my feet too much. They will be saved for special occasions.

I have wide and short feet. It's hard to find shoes that are both comfortable and attractive. These are both. The straps are adjustable for widths. Also my arches (of my feet) get sore easily, but I can wear these all day long without any discomfort. This is a great purchase - day long teaching and the rocker bottom.

The bottom of the shoe could not be more comfortable! The top is still creating some blisters from rubbing. I think as I break them in, they will get soft and comfortable. I am still a fan.

This is a basic, adjustable sandal, very comfortable and light for my slightly wide feet. I love the texture, but the stated color is white (opal), and it's actually a very light grey. If I didn't want to wear it when I wear one of my white linen tops, it would have been fine, but as it is, it's too off.

Great sandal clog with the best arch support, comfort unsurpassed. Alegria shoes just so good for your feet. Love to see a cut-out version with back strap too. Pink is gorgeous color, surprisingly goes with just about everything.

After reading the reviews, I had to try these shoes! I have to say that my back or feet don't hurt after standing for hours...definitely worth the money and I love the compliments I've received! The size did run true to size for me and are just as comfy without socks as with...

I love my blue shoes! I usually need orthotic inserts, but not with these. The arch is high and firm. And they fit from the start. I wear these shoes often, especially with jeans.

These shoes are adorable, am an artist and like the eclectic print pattern on these shoes. I was tired of plain shoes and wanted something different. I get a lot of compliments on these shoes! The only problem I have is that after only a month they are beginning to squeak a bit when I walk - which really bothers me after I spent a lot on them.

I love these sandals. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day and they were very comfortable. I usually wear an 8 1/2 and these are a true size. Plus, they are cute and nice quality. My first pair of Alegria shoes, but not my last.
