A nice balance: it is a low profile shoe, but it still has great support. They were comfortable from the get-go, didn't really feel like they needed to be "broken in". Very happy with the purchase!

These shoes are awesome! perfect fit. Extremely comfortable. Great for an all purpose tennis shoe. Goes with any casual wear. Highly recommend them!

I need a classic looking black leather sneaker that isn't an oversized style, and these were the best I found. They're satisfactory but not my all time favorites. I prefer a more cushioned shoe; I replaced the original insole with a more cushioned, running one, and the toebox is average to narrow, I buy wides about 50% of the time, and these are a little snugger than ideal, even before the insole switch.

if you are looking for a simple, black sneaker there\'s no need to look any further. this is as cool as it gets. it\'s leather, so it\'s easy to clean. it is super comfortable and it just adds a bit of "classic" style to any outfit. go get them now.

The Stan Smith is a nice, classic sneaker. I had to order twice to get the right size (order up a bit in size instead of down), but the return went smoothly and didn't cost me a dime. Thanks for a great product delivered wondrously fast, both times. I will order from Zappos again!

2nd happiest day of my life! I received my Adidas Stan Smith 2 originals today! I purchased my first pair in 1966 for about $25 and my wife threw them out after about 20+ years (don't really remember) and I have never forgiven her. Found them at Zappos.com, my wife gave me approval to purchase them and they arrived today. Wonderful! All my other junk sneakers are now going to the Goodwill.

The fit is perfect and they are extremely comfortable. For people like me (over 40), these timeless treasures never go out of style. They have the traction and performance for tennis, yet are just as appropriate for wearing around town with a nice pair of jeans or shorts.

An Adidas but... Just got them. Look pretty cool. If you get your regular size, you may feel a bit tight in them (narrow), that's how it felt to me, but I guess they loosen with time.

Stan Smiths rule! I've had many, many pairs of Adidas over the years, some Stan Smith's and lots of other styles too. I'm always surprised at how comfortable they are. There is a little less padding then other Adidas I've had but they still are very easy on the feet. I have always had the classic white S.S., the look of the black with grey soles and white stitching took me a little getting used to at first but I'm getting there. There is just a little more contrast between the colors in person than in the picture. Overall a comfortable, classic Adidas shoe.
