This shoe was too tight and on the short side, though it could have worked if it had been a true WW. Ordered a 6.5 WW, not what I would consider to be extra wide. Toe box was short and a tiny bit shallow AND I have a short big toe. The inside rim was tight on the top of my bone at the toe box. My biggest issue has always been my high instep (which few people have so they do not comment on). I go to the extra detail in my reviews and others... ( IE:"Super Cute"- does not help anyone)! The heel is roomy but did not slip; my heel size is average, not narrow. The correct method to measure one's foot length is to trace it standing on a piece of paper. I am exactly 9 inches and need a shoe fractions longer considering if for a sock, stocking or barefoot. Still, due to manufacturer's conflicts, I wear from a 6.5 to a 7.5 . The length of this shoe in size 6.5WW is 9.5 in measuring the outer sole-> which appears to be very durable. In general, it seems to be a well made shoe. Zappos has a wonderful policy. It would be helpful to everyone if the reviews we write were more detailed vs simply wanting to gain points. The loss of time, money and our mutual carbon food print, (no double entendre' intended ~). are important issues. Thanks for the opportunity to write this!

I have claustrophobic toes and a wide foot, so I need a wide toe box, which is surprisingly difficult to find in a professional flat that stays on when I walk. I also have a fairly flat arch but tall foot. After trying on nearly a dozen shoes, this was the clear winner. I ended up with the wide a half size smaller than my normal size (8.5). I can easily stand for hours on the flat but cushioned footbed - most 'comfort' flats come with an arch cushion bubble that I find uncomfortable. There is no toe cleavage. The style is basic but classic. I love that it is made in the USA.

I wanted to replace a pair of gentle souls I’ve had for a few years. I was between these and another pair by Frye. I chose this pair based on the reviews and I am very happy! They are true to size, comfortable for my wider feet and narrow heal. They didn’t need to be broken in and they look really cute but polished. No bells and whistles, just a pair of plain black classy flats.

These shoes were recommended to me by the Cleveland Clinic. I had a heel spur and could hardly walk. I have told many people how comfortable they are and how to order them. I work retail and these have truly saved my feet

I love this shoe. It does run larger and wider than comparable comfort shoes I own. I have a high arch, wide feet, with tendency to get plantar fasciitis. Have tried 3 size/width combos and think trying one more will be just right. Beautiful patina and pattern. Plan to wear for my daughter’s wedding this fall.

This is a beautiful shoe (I ordered the bronze), and just what I was looking for. Except - the edge of the vamp over the toes is just a little too low, and cuts into my bunion. Wish the vamp was cut a little higher. I returned the shoes.

SAS makes very nice shoes. The toe box on this model suits my bunion well and the hammer toe, as well. They may not be the most fashionable of shoes, but they're a good purchase. And Zappos always delivers as advertised.

The shoes I received were not the same as pictured. Additionally they were not in a SAS box, rather just thrown into a shipping box with tissue paper. Very sloppy and unprofessional

The material felt nice and the width and length were excellent. However, I need arch support, and adding orthotics would have made this shoe too tight. Even without added support, it pinched my toes.

This is my second pair of SAS shoes, and I love them. I'm a 12W, which can be tricky, but these fit perfectly and actually have a good bit of support--something we don't often find in ballet flats. They're a little expensive, and they look it. I'll keep an eye on other SAS shoes as needs arise.

Beautiful design, grippy sole, and super comfortable right out of the box. I took one star off for having ok (not great) arch support. found them to run slightly large - ordered a half size down and they fit great.

The shoelaces are a little too long. A 30 inch flat/ braided black would be better. Other than that it is a very supportive shoe with room in the toes like the Siesta shoe.

Fell in love with this shoe online and ordered it for travel. However I have bunions and the cut of this shoe isn't good with them. Sadly I had to return them.

Shoe was very nice ~ soft leather and classic look. I ordered an 11M as wide was not available. I rec'd the shoes at the same time I got notification that the wide version was available. They were just slightly tight at the forefoot, but otherwise a good fit. I immediately returned them and ordered the 11W. These arrived very quickly. The width was great, but the length of the shoe allowed almost 3 fingers to fit in the heel cup. I walked right out of them. I suspect the 11M would have stretched a bit and been very comfortable... At least Zappo's return is extremely easy!! I did not order further, as I don't know if a 10 or 10.5 would be the right size for me in a wide. I have always been a fan of SAS! Best nurses' shoes ever!!

For the price, these shoes were not that comfortable for my feet. The arch support was ok, but not amazing. They have some memory foam in the sole, but didn’t feel very cushioned to me. Please note I am 66, with high arch, metatarsal pain, bunion- basically old feet.

These are beautiful shoes. I wear a 10w and the 10w was too wide and the 10m fit as far as length and width. The reason I am having to return them is that the toe box is quite shallow. It was hurting my bunion and therefore would not work.

The opening at the top of the shoe cut into my bunion a bit, but less than others of this style. Enough that I sent them back. I was disappointed. I really like the look of the shoe. The lace pattern is unique and really dresses them up.

10.5 medium in black. Very pretty shoe, but the toe box doesn't accommodate my toes. If I order a wide, it will fall off because other than the toe box the width is perfect so I didn't take away stars on the width. These are going back.

The Scenic ballet flat in the lace pattern is beautiful and comfortable. It has a nice cushy insole and a substantial non-slip outsole. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that I felt it doesn't have very much arch support. The removable insole allows you to add your own orthodics though.

These shoes were comfortable, but since my left foot is slightly longer than my right (due to fallen arch), there was not enough extra space for my foot. These lace shoes could be dressed up or down. Very cute.

It was supposed to be wide toe box shoe. The heel and length were fine, but the toe box wasn't very wide.

Very disappointed. The right shoe fits like a narrow, not a slim. Too big. SAS shoes usually fit me perfectly and they are pretty much the only brand that does because I wear a slim. Unfortunately, because these were on sale, I cannot return them.
