There is a difference between the arch and the heel cup. These say that the arch support is just "further back" but that's not what's happening here. They just created a heel cup- which IS important for plantar fasciitis- but neglected to put in any actual arch support. I also think that for over $100 the strap should be an actual buckle instead of velcro. The materials are soft and feel nice and the size is good but a lot of missed marks and I don't know if I will be able to wear these with my plantar fasciitis.

The length was perfect, but the straps in the front were too wide so my foot slipped forward. They might work well for someone with a wider foot in the front.

Very cute sandals, the unadjustable straps made the sandals a poor fit for me.

This sandal felt like loose and wide. I don't think the velcro closure would hold up well with much use.

These are more supportive than you think they will be from looking at them. The styling is also decent for arch support type shoes. I love that they Velcro rather than buckle. Ankle buckles are always so hard to buckle across the ankle bone

This sandal is beautiful, the straps are loose. Afraid of them stretching out. Well made, love the color.

I was disappointed with these cute sandals. The arch support is poorly placed and the straps were too loose and flimsy. I still love the brand, which is usually perfect for my high arches.

I purchased the Aetrx Penny, size 7.5-8.0. I like the style of the sandal (I prefer dainty straps). However, I found the length a bit too short and the arch support to be uncomfortable. The arch support is too far back toward the heel, which would eventually cause cramping. The arch support most definately needs to be positioned forward a little bit more to truly rest under my arch. This issue may be that I need to try the next size up, but the other issue I found uncomfortable is the footbed material. It's some type of plastic (maybe?) that is rather slippery. When trying out the fit of the sandal, while walking, my foot would slip about due to the footbed material. I might have ordered the next size up (a true 8) to see if the arch support would fit better, but the footbed material was the deciding factor against ordering another pair.

This sandal is "ok" but for the price I expected much more. There is only one place to adjust the fit - a velcro strap. This is beneath the buckle which is fake and does nothing. There are elastic sections along the leather. One foot is slightly smaller than the other so for me these elastics make the shoe feel loose. I normally wear an 8.5 but my little toe spilled off the edge. I went up to a 9 and both feel a little loose - one more than the other. Shoe would be improved by having actual buckles and/or more than one place to adjust with velcro.

These are cute shoes but I'm returning them because the arch support feels like it's in the wrong place, too far back towards the heel.

I had the same issue many others did. The footbed is comfortable, but the straps are too long. And they're not adjustable, so the sandal just flopped around.

No to little arch support because the sole is too flexible.

The arch support was not correctly placed. The front is too wide so the shoe slips when I walk. Great color, nice looking shoe, just poor sizing.

Footbed fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable, but the upper portion (straps) were too loose with virtually no adjustability. I could have made them work, but they weren't worth it, especially for the price.

DO NOT BUY! After a few wears, the footbed started to wear off. A few more and even more is coming off not just in the original location but a different place as well. It also has a velcro strap which is not what I expected for a shoe that costs this much. There is also a line that I still have no idea why it is there that is awkward and serves no purpose. This is supposed to be a good brand but you wouldn't know it from purchasing these. Save your money and buy something else.
