Dear Zappos, Just a note to say a big thank you for taking the mountaineering boots back. I bought them for my son in June of 2006. He never got to use them. I put them in a closet and forgot about them until now, March of 2007. That's 9 months. I called your customer service department and your representative was great. I told her I had no box and no tags on the boots but they had never been worn. She told me to find a box, pack up the boots and add a special confirmation number with the boots and that my credit card would be refunded when Zappos received the boots back. I just got the email confirmation that you got my boots and the refund is in process. To top it all off you paid for shipping to me and back to you. I have just called everyone I know about you great service and I particularly let Outward Bound Wilderness adventures know how good you are so they can recommend you to their participants that need footwear. You have EVERYTHING. I now can reorder different hiking boots and water shoes with that refund for my son's next trip. Sincerely, Sterling, VA

Just wanted to say how awesome Zappos.com is!!!! I ordered shoes directly from PUMA and was very unhappy with the quality of the shoes (unlike my old Pumas!). Of course I had to pay shipping both ways! Then I remembered the policy at Zappos about returns which makes ordering shoes on line much less risky! Thank you!!! I won't get my shoes from anywhere else, ever!

I'm a first time Zappos shopper and I can honestly say I have never been happier and satisfied with my shopping experience. I will be getting married in May and decided to order my wedding shoes from Zappos. I believe every bride always looks for the perfect shoes for that very important day so I will honestly say, initially I was a bit nervous about ordering my "wedding shoes" online. Zappos made me feel at ease. I waited so long to order the perfect shoes for that very important day and I'm so glad Zappos made it so comfortable. Their world class customer service is AMAZING! What more can I say but AMAZING! I go onto your website, find these shoes I love. Put them in my cart...Find out that there is FREE overnight shipping! HUGE unbelievable bonus for me! Order them YESTERDAY; they are at my door TODAY! I literally couldn't have asked for better service. I didn't even have to leave my house! I have five children so shopping by myself is near impossible! You made it SO easy for me and in one day I am wearing the shoes I ordered yesterday, I am impressed to say the least. I had to write and let you know what an outstanding company you have. I ordered a pair of shoes last night around 8pm and they were here today before 5pm! Unbelievable! You should right a book on customer service for those companies still out there that do not deliver the kind of service you do.

All of you at Zappos are the best; you give the best customer service that can be found!!! Your product is first rate, and you have always stood by everything that I have purchased. You set what should be the standard, not only do you give free shipping; you treat customers like they paid for it. Other companies offer free shipping, but they send the product via the cheapest way, so it takes forever, and if you have a problem, they are quick to point out that they sent free of charge. That is why I have continued to shop and recommend Zappos to everyone that asks, “Where did you get those good looking shoes or boots?” Keep up the good work; I think you are a fantastic company! As I know you're well familiar with, this week has been a shoe-frenzy for everyone with price-matching to endless.com. On every shopping board, and with every friend and colleague I've talked to, we all mention your superior customer service. I know you have locked in loyal customers this week. Not only did your company stand by its price match policy, but your customer service representatives have been STELLAR! And I talked to quite a few this week! In particular, I would like to commend one young lady for her product knowledge, efficiency, patience, and general friendly demeanor. My mom is now "addicted" to your site (her words) because you stock such a large selection of narrow-width shoes. Thank you so much. I had placed an order late and I called to see if there was any way to have it delivered earlier and it was sent to me in less than one day. Much faster than I had even hoped for. The lady, who took care of me, was super nice and she really helped me out of a bind. I might not have had the right boots for a trip to Europe I had the next day. No company that I have ever dealt with has ever provided your kind of service. I will always be a loyal customer and I tell everyone about Zappos.com. I am still in school and strapped for cash, but when I get out I will almost exclusively purchase shoes from you.

I don't know how you do it. We have ordered several pairs of shoes from Zappos and it seemed that before we turned around, the shoes were on our front porch. It became a family joke about the swiftness of your shipping. I'd rather purchase shoes from Zappos than drive the 5 miles I'd have to drive to get to the mall and buy them.

Are you kidding me! This is the greatest site I have ever shopped on. Not only did you have what I needed in stock it was delivered the next day! Just as advertised. You do not false advertise by taking the order and then putting the items on backorder if you do not have them in stock. You tell me up front if the shoe is unavailable. I wish more sites would take pride in there business the way you do. I only wish I had found you sooner!! From now on I will purchase every shoe I ever need from you!!

The return Service that Zappos.com offers is incredible-as is the customer service. Clearly the company employs some terrific people! It is difficult to purchase shoes online, due to fit discrepancies, but I have never had a problem with any purchase from Zappos.com. I plan to shop with this site for a long time.

When my gift for my brother fell through at the actual Puma store, I was at a loss. Those were the exact shoes that I wanted and I didn't know what to do. I ended up googling the shoe name and this is the first site that came up. I was a bit hesitant for ordering off line, but I was at a loss. I ended up taking a chance and buying the shoes and they turned up to be cheaper than they were at the Puma store. In addition, I did not have to pay for shipping, OVER NIGHT SHIPPING to be exact. I was also confused by the fact that I got overnight shipping for FREE!!! I even called, and got excellent service, to confirm that I would get them the very next day, even though I ordered them at 5 the night before! Thank you Zappos!!!!! You saved my present and made my brothers birthday!!! I WILL come back for more service!!! I can guarantee it!

I just put in another order for Dansko clogs, yet as I clicked the log-out icon, I thought...How do these guys do it? Each time I order, I get my stuff correctly, quickly and with all the info. I need to efficiently return anything (I have only had to do this twice). Just want to tell you how much confidence you have earned from this on-line shopper.

I just wanted to let you know what great experiences I've had with your company and how happy I am to buy from you. I've shopped with you guys for about 5 years now (probably under different email addresses) but the one consistent thing has been the quality of your customer service and your commitment to your promises of no-hassle, free returns and exchanges. There have been times that I've ordered shoes and had to return them because they just don't work. Even though those transactions mean no sale for you in the short term- the service I've gotten during those transactions is what keeps me coming back year after year and it's also what makes me recommend you to friends. I know that I can feel comfortable buying shoes from you because I know that I'm not stuck with a pair of shoes that don't fit.
