The old straw lids didn't keep my water cold. This new one keeps my ice from melting !

My hydro flask was a birthday gift 5 years ago, it has a few dings but the cap never leaked until a couple months ago, so when I replaced it with a new one I was surprised at how much thought went into reconstructing this , , the straw fits snug inside the cap instead of over a nodule on inside, the outer part of cap straw ( idk what it's called sorry ) actually snaps into place instead of fitting snug when pushing down to help eliminate leaks making this a longer lasting cap , I would definitely recommend this I was very pleased I got my daughter a new one for hers too !!

I purchased this cap because I want options when choosing how and where I'm going to use my HF. The caps aren't expensive and it's like you have a whole nother HF to use. I may buy other caps for my other HFs so I have those options.

The straw makes it easy to drink in the car or anywhere without having to tip remove the lid and tip the bottle.

I previously broke two other hydroflask lids. I think the old design was not good for my clumsy hands and the lid broke anytime I dropped the bottle. But I LOVE the new design, the handle is secure and I'm way less inclined to drop the bottle

Exactly what I wanted

This is a huge improvement on the older straw cap. After a few weeks with this I haven't had any issues with leaks, it is easier to open, and it doesn't make an awkward whistling sound when I take a sip.

Needed a replacement lid as my original was ageing after years of daily use, I was very happy to see that Hydroflask offers replacement components (the bottle itself will survive the apocalypse!).

It is magnificent bottle my wife loved it
