These are mostly nylon, so have little heft or body. Therefore they cling at the rear. I have to wear a tunic length top to cover. So they are not comfortable in that respect. They are a size 14 & otherwise fit OK at waist & length.

The pants are very easy to wear with the drawstring. The only criticism is that the material really pills after very little wear. I don't know if the fabric has changed lately. I enjoy the pants but will look for something more durable that doesn't pill.

This fit wasn't quite right for me; the capris were too large in the waist. The elastic at the waist wasn't enough to make them fit, and the drawstriing was also stretchy, making it difficult/impossible to tighten. I considered adding some more elastic but in the end sent them back. I really didn't want to, as I liked them very much.

I love how comfortable theses are I wear them at home all the time. I am very disappointed in the material. I have followed the manufacturer recommendations for washing and drying and yet they always look wrinkled and like I have slept in them. They are black and have started to have the little round "pilling balls on them which are probably only noticeable to me but a big disappointment considering what I paid for them, to say nothing of my disappointment in the quality I expect from LL Bean. Should I return them because of quality issues and give up my most comfortable capris? Hmmm

I would give this a 5 if it didn't pill. I like the look, the weight, and the function. I have worn it around town and also to the gym. It's great for warm weather. But my first pair pilled after a few months. I'm trying again and hope it lasts longer.

These fit well and the quality is very nice but I'm short and on me they looked dumpy. They have a wider leg and I looked like a hobbit in them :)

I wanted to love them, I do not. The fabric is a bit too light. I preferred the cut and fabric of the pants you have carried previously. Can't remember the name but they were also knee length with adjustable button waist.

I have bought the vista shorts many times so tried the longer pants. Large was too small and extra large too big. The material is great and the design makes moving easy. I love all the pockets. Sadly I had to return the pants due to fit but the shorts are great

I first purchased these in a size large. They were really large. I am normally a size 12. Because they were so large I then purchased the mediums. The mediums were skin tight. Could not wear either pair. Ended up sending them both back. For reference I am 5'4" and weigh about 160 pounds. I normally fit in a Bean 12 with no problem.

Love these pants but I bought a pair that pilled up so bad and you no longer have the policy to replace them. So I had to buy another pain.

I love the pants but there is one problem. They all have developed very tiny pulls. I own 3 pairs.

I like the pants. Very thin material so it works for summer BUT I used a small flashlight this morning to walk a dog and put the flashlight into my pocket to open up the door to the house and the warm flashlight burned a hole right through the outside of the pocket - happily not the inside of the pocket! Scary to think that a warm flashlight was enough to melt the fabric on these pants. Returning the ones without the hole. :( The only other gripe is that the waist tie is elastic so you cannot put anything heavy in your pockets or the pants will slide off cause the tie stretches . . . Otherwise, love the pants. :(

I initially loved these pants and bought a second pair in a different color. They fit well and are comfortable. However, I have now worn each pair just a couple times (one pair worn twice, the other pair three times), and both have little snags on the legs. While these pants are cute on, they are not at all durable, and are too expensive to be disposable. Years ago I had a skort from LLBean that was a similar material, but I had it and wore it for years. Clearly this material is not up to snuff. I am returning both pairs of pants.

As a 5'1" woman, I have always relied on LL Bean's wide selection of clothing in petite sizes. So, I was disappointed to discover that none of your capri-length pants come in petite sizes. This makes no sense. I tried these, hoping that with the adjustment on the leg they might work, but they're still too long. Please offer some of your capris in petite sizes. I finally gave up on Bean and went to other clothing makers who offer petite sizes.

Love the look of these, but all 3 pairs of mine are terribly pilled on the inside and are rough on my skin. You can also see the pulls of the fabric on the outside. Seems like the fabric is cheaply made. They are too uncomfortable to wear.

The pockets are too small even for my phone I couldn't sit down without taking phone out of my pocket.

I had hoped that the leg closures would make the legs small enough for my skinny calves, but they looked ridiculous, so they went back. butt and thighs were also quite generous. Maybe I should have ordered an extra small, but that shouldn't really be necessary. I wish Bean would pay more attention to those of us with no curves. I really need something with a slim leg and hips, yet some give in the waist...

I've purchased two other Vista Camp crop pants and three other Vista Camp long pants and loved them all. This order, same size as all the others, is HUGE. There's so much fabric I look like I'm wearing a skirt. I've never encountered a sizing problem with LLBean before, but I guess standards are slipping everywhere.

The Vista Camp pants are perfect in every way except one. I have purchased the regular, crop and lined versions of these pants. Versatile, comfortable and functional, I thought I found the perfect pants. I stopped buying these pants because of the excessive pilling. I followed the washing instructions exactly but I could or stop the pilling. Even before I needed to wash them the pilling started. No matter what I did these pants started pilling. Even with casual use they would pill. I realize most of the reviewers did not have this problem but I certainly did.

When I first received these I was delighted by how soft, lightweight and breathable they are. Unfortunately the fabric started pilling after the first wash (following care instructions) and now they look terrible.

Almost perfect pants ruined by too-small pockets. The button side pockets are too short to fit in a phone! I do not have a huge phone (iPhone XS), but could not button the flap over it. Practically worthless for biking, hiking. Do not know what I will do with them now.

I have the black and the gray capris. I love wearing them but am embarrassed when folks see them and ask what happened to them. They have pilled terrible and it is very noticeable. Folks cannot beLieve it when I tell them they came from LL Bean. They and I always think the quality of the product would be much better. I gave 2 stars because they are very comfortable.

I am Plus size and normally wear a 1X. Got a 2X and they are so tight in the butt, hips, and thighs I could hardly get them on. Trying to decide if I even want to try the 3X or if I will just travel with the pants I got from Costco.

These are a great lightweight travel pant & great fit. However, after 1 day of wearing at a theme park with a lot of walking, the left front hip area was all pilled & pulled. I was wearing a cotton quilted crossbody. From the friction, pants were ruined after 1 use. I had purchased 3 pair in different colors. All 3 did this in same spot. The granite color the worse, which was when I noticed. Regretfully had to return all. I hope material is upgraded as otherwise, these were to be my new favorite pants

I bought my first pair (olive) in February, then toasted almond in April..followed by Navy and Black. Loved these Capri's, until the fabric started to pill. Didn't start to wear them until warmer weather, late May/June. Always washed on gentle and line dried. I am very disappointed in them now and not sure where I will go to replace them. Customer service is excellent and told me they will accept the return. Not something I would do ordinarily but is why I chose bean. These were a bit pricey to me at $59 a pair, but I splurged because they fit and look nice. The lighter colors, olive and toasted almond have significant pilling so definitely going back, but I am not seeing it in black and navy, so I will keep them for now and hope for the best.
