I had my concerns at first. My daughter is at the age that she's not comfortable tying shoes. She gets it but not as tight as she'd like. She runs track and wanted these to prevent here from asking the coach to help with laces all the time (she goes between runners and spikes during practice). I got the correct size in these but if you happen to go half a size big, these may not stay on during running. Or the kids heel may not stay in place. We've had a positive experience so far. So I'm satisfied.
