I’ve been on the hunt for good plus size hiking pants. Unfortunately this Columbia pant is not for me. The cut is fine (1x on 5’6” 185 lbs), legs not too tight, comfortable waist. It’s the swishing sound from my big girl chub rub that makes these a no go. The material is too shiny and swishy. Other Columbia pants I’ve worn have a more matte fabric finish that dampens the annoying sound. I’ll keep looking for my (quieter lol) holy grail pants.

I am 5'8" and while a 1x fit perfect in the waist and were super comfortable, they are too short. They are more like a "crop" pant. However that doesn't work for hiking (for me). So bummed, as I wanted to love these high rise waisted pants. I've searched for so long for moisture wicking, quick dry high waisted pants and I guess my search continues.

I bought these to replace the Just Right pants that were discontinued. I am very pleased with them, they fit well and will be perfect for travel. I hope that they increase the color options.

Happy with these, the fit is just right and I'm going to buy another pair. These will be great travel and hiking pants, all four pockets have zippers. Lightweight and breathable too.

Love these pants ! Narrow ankle - great for bike riding ! Easy hang for quick dry. Great for travel!

Love these. Very comfortable and will be great for travel this summer. Zippered pockets so no worries about losing things. Had to get a smaller size, what I thought would work was too big.

I just wore these on a hike and I love them! They have just the right amount of stretch to be comfortable snd are incredibly lightweight. The elastic adjustable waist makes it easy to adjust just the right fit. Pickets are big enough to hold my cell phone.

Fits well, loose leg. Waist is very thick elastic, might be uncomfortable if its at all snug. Light wright fabric

I bought size 1X because I normally wear a 16W and 1X supposedly covers 16W-18W. They were HUGE and I had to return them for a regular XL which fits fine except for the fact that I had to shorten them about 3 inches. These are good, sturdy but lighter weight outdoor pants. Now if only Columbia made them in numbered sizes rather than S M L etc.

High rise a bit too short and the pants are giving me a wedgie. I"m 5'-6". Might be okay if you're shorter. Material is very thin, which is a non-starter for me in the winter. I did like that the pants have zippered security pockets. I'll be returning them.
