They're fantastic once you wrestle them on! May need a shoe horn to help you out!

Shoes fit well and were comfortable, EXCEPT for a raised seam at back of the heel, which caused a blister after 1 day of walking. Fortunately I was able to return for free and received another pair within days.

These shoes are extremely comfortable once you get them on. Would have definitely given five stars except they really tough to put on. Maybe a little bigger loop on the back.

It's comfortable once I get it on, however, it is not actually lace up, it is slip on, This makes it hard to get on my right foot that has a surgically reconstructed ankle from a car accident (it's a little bigger than the other ankle).

I have an older pair of Rockport XCS shoes that have worn well and have been very comfortable when I walk my dog. The old shoes had a tongue that was not attached at the sides. My new shoes have the tongue connected to the sides of the shoe - a bit of an adjustment when putting them on but after they are broken in this should be fine.

I had to return these shoes. They were too narrow for me and I usually don't need wide shoes. I have to go for something else because they don't have in stock in wide sizes.
They are beautiful and seem to be very well manufactured with quality materials.

The shoe looks good, lots of room in the toe box, but the soles aren't comfortable when standing for long periods of time, which is unusual for Rockport.

Nice comfortable shoes. But very difficult to put on. I even tried a shoe horn and broke two. Description shows slip on and show laces that dont tie. The reason I bought them was so I would not have to bend over to tie laces if they came undone. They were described as a slip on and they are anything but. I removed the laces, but they look a little odd. Once I go through the battle of putting them on, they are comfortable to walk in.

Very difficult to wear because the instep foot is too tight for me, well, I tried only once. Any suggestion?

The shoes are ok. They don't have a separate tongue which I prefer. They seem comfortable but I'm not that impressed. Nothing wrong with them just not that impressive.

Great looking shoe. a bit narrow. not as comfortable as i thought they would be. Good casual wear shoe. would not recommend for walking any distance. for example: nice to wear with nice shorts to a lunch or dinner but not an after dinner stroll.

I really love how comfortable these areonce you get them on. Unlike any sneaker I've ever bought, the tongue is not separated from the rest of the shoe. There's just a hole to squeeze your foot in. It takes some work, especially if you're an old fat guy like me.
The laces are essentially just for show because these are for all intents and purposesslippers although slippers usually have some elastic sewn into the sides of the tongue.
I find the design baffling. I've never seen sneakers like this before, but I'm only 64.
I'm keeping mine because they're great once they're on and I suppose I can count the five minutes it takes to put them on as cardio.

I am a fitness walker. I find the sneaker very comfortable to walk in ONCE I get on. The fact that there is not a moveable tongue makes the shoe extremely difficult to put on. I can not put in on without a shoe horn. Once on great. I am concerned that if it were to come off when I am walking that I would not be able to put it on.
I think the absence of a moveable tongue takes a great product and ruins it. I clearly would not buy another pair with this lace/tongue design. The lace is for show not function

Gave a 3 - Advertised as lace-up sneaker, but is actually a slip on that can be further tightened with the laces. At first very difficult to slip on, but they have loosened somewhat after a few days. Once on they are a comfortable walking shoe. I believe they should be advertised as a hybrid - slip-on with tightening laces.
