Never got on with hiking boots but wanted an alternative that's similar to a trainer but has all the sturdiness of a boot and this is the perfect option. A very solid shoe that handled the trails around my local area with ease. As recommended by Adidas I went half a size bigger than my normal shoe size and it's a perfect fit. I couldn't imagine wearing my normal size in these as your toes would not have any room at the top, so do go half a size bigger than normal. I have slim feet so in order to prevent slippage when walking I had to use the second lacing loop at the top of the shoe to do "ankle lock" or "runners loop" lacing. This completely secured my feet in the shoes and walking downhill I experienced no slippage or toe banging. I wore these shoes for a maximum of 8 hours and had no discomfort at the end of the day whatsoever, which is the complete opposite of my experience with boots where I'd be in a lot of pain. Highly recommend this product 10/10

These are my go to walking shoe. They fit right out of the box. Add some waterproof socks for those days when very wet.

Felt great walking on road and off road in Scottish Highlands. Very comfortable and no problem in heavy rain.

It's only week 1 but, on first impressions, it has to be one of the best quality shoes I've bought. Very solid design that looks like it'll last a while of continuous use. Sturdy rubber exterior and great heel support. I've got flat feet so I swapped the original insole for my orthopaedic ones. It fit nicely and is wide enough for my feet, as I tend to overpronate (although it isn't specifically designed for overpronation). As advised, I chose a half size bigger and got 9.5, which fit very well.

Very comfortable and gortex waterproof. Very good for hikes and all around use.

Very good grip on whatever surfase! I have wide feet and these shoes are a good fit for my feets.

Perfect shoes to use during Norwegian wintertime! Can withstand snow and other wet conditions and the grip on slippery circumstances is great! I use these instead of other winter-shoes that are on the marked.

The shoe fits perfectly if you choose a size larger. The sole has to be broken in first because it is very slippery on wet surfaces (stones). This is probably due to the release agent from the baking pan. It is waterproof and looks great . Despite this flaw there are 5 stars
