These felt and sounded very crunchy and rigid. I'm sure the rigid material would have been just fine if they fit me in length, but they were just too long in the inseam for me at 5'. They do seem to be a quality investment piece. I love the extra pocket on the thigh, which would be a good place for me to put a lift ticket. I also appreciated the larger chest pocket. The suspenders were just fine for me, at 5' tall. The medium would allow some layering (5', 120 pounds and chestie). However, even the short length was a good couple of inches too long in the inseam and there really is no way I could see to shorten them.

The bibs are so comfortable. These are absolutely the best for here in Alaska. I've had them for quite a few years and plan on owning them for a lot longer. The full zip sides, the built in gaiters, the zip pockets, and suspenders, and the clip to catch the front of your boot laces are perfect. Great for bird hunting, hiking, fat biking, and sitting in the rain/snow.

I bought these at the beginning of the ski season, and use them for all day skiing at the local ski area, and multi-day ski touring and backcountry trips. They have held up in our maritime southeast Alaska weather, including those days when most people ski in their fishing rain gear. Highly recommended!

My wife got the revised Beta SV bibs. She has been using old Theta SV bibs and we asked from customer care how is the sizing of revised Beta compare to old Theta. And reply was spot on. It is slightly bigger than Theta was. New pocket in the middle of the bib is much more useful than those old tiny pockets, plus the additional thight pocket is great. They fit better now for the SV category of products having more room for layers. And the new most rugged goretex feels really good. Colour Rhapsody is good and great that you had at least one NOT black. In our family we are having several colourful Arcteryx goretex bib's, like blue and 2 orange stingers, 2 purple thetas, blue lithium comps, red thetas, but not a single blacks. Lets keep it so. So more colours for these also, also on men's lineup.

I bought these because I have been looking for a full zip bib pant for ski touring for many years. I ordered online and by the size guide so I ordered a medium. I probably could have went with a small, but I have room to layer for winter camping. I am 5 foot 4 and 130 lbs. I certainly see how the shortness of the suspender straps could be an issue for taller people, I have mine almost fully extended and not a tall person. They have performed amazingly! Very tough on those Rockies bushwacking missions and tree skiing. Move very well. Easy to go to the 'facilitrees'

Haven't worn them out in the elements but they are comfy, good fit, a bit funny with the huge baggy butt , although that makes them fit better when I sit down. I assume that is what they are for. Probably would wear a small if I were buying them for skiing or mountaineering but got them to wear in the Arctic with warm, bulky layers under them so keeping the medium. 5'4", 130 lbs

I'm 5'4" 125 pounds (short legs, long torso, small waste), I purchased the size small, regular inseam in colour rhapsody. Intended use: Search and Rescue. My initial impression when trying these on were great. They were light weight, yet really durable, and not at all restrictive in movement, adequate pockets. The colour was beautiful, and the full zipper is great, not something you can often find in a women's pant. Unfortunately for me these didn't quite fit me well enough to be confident with the purchase as I'm downsizing gear to only 1 pair of snowpants. So that being said, I want to make sure I invest in the exact right ones that will serve me for a long time. The back gapped quite a bit on me and was loose. The suspender length was too short on me and made the pants ride up in the crotch. Overall these are definitely a quality item but with the fit not quite hitting it for me I'll have to pass this time and return. Would love to see more adjustability : longer suspenders, or detachable suspenders to swap in a longer pair. Ability to sinch up the back for less gap.

I really like these snowpants. They fit well it the legs and the butt. However it gaps significantly at the back. I could almost fit another person with all the space back there. I wish there were an elastic or an additional snap to make it hug my back a little more. I am tempted to take them in myself, but sewing holes in GORE-TEX feels sacrilegious. The pocket at the top could be a little bigger, but not a deal-breaker.

I love these bibs. I finally had the means to upgrade my ski gear and I am so glad I got these. I looked at a lot of different women's drop-seat bibs and tried on a few that didn't have the stretch or room for athletic legs/thighs. These have enough room to really move when skiing, skinning, or moving around more heavily during other mountain activities. The drop-seat saves so much time and annoyance when nature calls and the bibs are a perfect height to avoid bust interference while still avoiding backdraft or snow-in-bum occurrences. My only issue is the pocket situation. There are only 2 pockets on the abdomen portion of the bib. They're good stash pockets, but are too small to hold anything larger than a deck of cards and if you load them with snacks they can sometimes feel awkward while bending over while skiing. I'm not sure why they didn't include at least one thigh pocket, but I still wear these all the time. I'm 5'9" ~145lbs, got the medium and it fits well. I was worried about the inseam being too short, but it works well once I have boots on.

I was looking forward to getting these bibs. I am 6' tall and 150 lbs. I ordered a men's M and a women's M Tall. The women's version has the bib straps wider apart to accommodate bust, but unfortunately straps are too short causing the bibs to ride up in the crotch for world class wedgie. Please Arc'teryx designers: tall ladies have longer torsos and a couple extra inches of elastic won't cost much more. Otherwise a perfect fit and really gorgeous product. I am so disappointed. I could alter them, but for $650? No way am I doing that. So sadly, they are going back. The men's are just too big and the chest straps ride over my bustline and are uncomfortable.

I bought these pants in zafre color to match my mosaic color Sentinel LT & Shashka jackets and the either combination looks fantastic. I get so many compliments on the color. My only complaint is the length of the suspenders. They are too short. I have them adjusted to their maximum length but could really use another inch or so in the adjustment as it does restrict my movement somewhat. If the I am 6ft tall 170 ponds and wear a size XL. I am not sure if an XL tall would make a difference as the inseam is fine on the XL it's just the suspender length I have an issue with. I also have the Shashka pants (which I love) in XL and the suspender length is fine. Overall I do like these pants and absolutely recommend them. I just wish the suspenders were a bit longer.

This pants have been amazing!! I've only worn them a couple of times, but I'm already in love with them. I have been wanting a good pair of bibs for a little while now, and these perfectly fit what I wanted/needed. The quality is there, and overall, they fit really well, which is something I struggled with in other brands' bibs. The drop seat is amazing, and I love that zippers run down the entire side and allow for lots of good ventilation. I have yet to test their waterproof abilities on a wet day at a resort, but the way they've done so far, I don't think it will be an issue. My main complaint is a lack of pockets. There are only two on the chest area, and they are rather small. They do fit my phone, but it's tight and there is not room for anything else. I wish there was something maybe on the thigh? I would say these fit a bit on the larger side, I'm about 5'7" and 135 lbs and I got a M, and don't have a very big chest, and the bust area is a little big on me. I'm glad I got the medium though, because any smaller and I don't think they would fit my thighs/butt very well. I got the Zaffre blue color, and I was super happy with how similar it is to the color pictured. Overall, super super happy with these pants!!

I use them for backcountry skiing, opening the leg zippers when ascending, keeps the moisture in check. Awesome drop seat so I don't have to take my coat and out layers off to pee. About the fit, I'm a solid size 14 in pants, an hourglass/pear shape. Ordered an XL based on my measurements and dimensions supplied by Arc'teryx, they were roomy through the legs but the chest area was enormous. They sit above your natural waist, and the gap on my back was about 10", it was like it was fitted for a man's chest. The large fits better, but I wish there was just a little more room in the thigh. The waist on the large size fits well, but sits so high, it covers the lower half of my breasts and I have a long torso too.
