I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that fit because I have a narrow heel but I need a lot of room in the toe box area. I can't wear shoes that don't lace up or have a secure strap over the top of the foot because I will walk right out of the heel. The problem is that most lace-ups and strapped shoes are clunky looking on my feet. These shoes are perfect. Plenty of room for my toes, the strap is secure and the little splash of white around the bottom gives them a sleek look. I usually wear a 7.5 and that's what I bought. The fit is right -- so good, in fact, that I bought two pairs. Just wish they came in other colors.

These shoes fit well in the length but are too wide for me. I don't like the way they gap at the sides when I walk. Also, the foot bed is a bit stiffer and not as cushiony or comfortable as the Gentle Souls with divided rubber, anatomic soles. I may end up returning these. Generally, however, Gentle Souls are my new go-to brand. I have terrible problems with my feet, and GS shoes are the best solution I have yet to find.

Adorable shoe, but very narrow in the toe box. Also, strap had some stitching that felt uncomfortable across the top of my foot. Seems like the construction of Gentle Soul shoes has changed from years ago. Sizing is different and less comfortable foot bed.

I loved the look of this shoe but was disappointed to find that it was wide on me, to the point that it creased when I walked. I have pretty normal feet- not too wide or narrow, so this was a disappointment. Also, after seeing and feeling the shoe, I am not sure that the price really reflects the quality of the shoe .

The shoe is made well, and has nice soft leather. It runs true to size. They look cute, except the strap was too wide for me. They are comfortable to wear for awhile, even if it doesn't have a lot of arch support (I wouldn't say none though). They didn't work well for me because I have bunions, and they show a great deal of my bunions which I didn't like of course. I don't often have that problem with this style of shoe. Someone else probably would be ok with the amount of exposure of toes, just not me.
