I'm exchanging my SMALL for the Small for a Medium (I'm 5'9", 132 lbs), I got the black one - but my goodness... It's a BEAUTIFUL fitting dress, just was a bit too snug - a "small & a half" lol would probably been perfect. The fabric has just an ever so slight sheen (not super dressy, could easily go from office to a night out - black boots & tights or heels) but not really matte "chalky/uneven"cheap looking cotton either... ) with the perfect amount of stretch. Looking at the one I'm returning, it would definitely needs ironing before wearing, but I would only do it on super low setting, and only on the reverse side (it seems like the kind of fabric that might shine up a bit if you were to iron it on the outside - dealt with that in the past!).

Usually wearing 8 size , M was too small for me , I would need to order large

I think the sizing is a bit off- it didn’t have the perfect wiggle silhouette that I thought it would and the sleeve length was awkward rather than elegant.
