I am not impressed with the shape of this boot - it looks better in the photo, and has a kind of generic black boot look on the foot.Nothing special about it, and doesn't feel like it gives much support.

I'm disappointed in these boots. I generally love the Mephisto boots with this foot bed, but, the smooth "black silk" leather just didn't appeal to me in person. I've also come to dislike the smooth, slippery insole -- when I wear these with stockings or tights, my feet slide around inside the boots. I could replace the insole, but at this price, I want a boot that is perfect from the start. Finally, the zipper on the outside of the foot drove me crazy -- it is very awkward to reach, especially in public (I change my shoes at the office).

This boot was cute, but the inside was slippery and it was too large. So, I am returning it.
