I love these shoes, but they do run small and unfortunately Zappos does not carry the next size up - I can't find them anywhere on the internet in a larger size except used on eBay!

I love these shoes. It has taken me years, but I have finally found a cute and comfortable flat. I've been wearing these all summer long to work. I either wear them no show socks or no socks at all. Although the insert was great I removed it to wear my custom orthotic with it. I had no issues with width or size. I normal wear a 39 and that's the size I got. My only issue is with the old school buckle, it is really hard for the pin to find the hole on the left shoe for some reason. Velcro is so much easier.

I ordered the same size as my Birkenstock sandels which have been a blessing to my feet. The Lismore shoes were too small. I am returning and ordering a larger size.

I've had other Birkenstocks shoes which fit met great, but for some reason, these cut into my big toe. I think it's something to do with the seam in the front pressing down on my toenail. I tried sizing up, but it was too big.

Wonderful shoes. However, this shoe runs one size small. I am returning my regular size 39 pair and keeping the size 40. Birkenstock, PLEASE keep making more fashion-conscious, closed-toe shoes with your footbed!

I love Birkenstocks and spend most of my workday on my feet. I like the neutral color of these shoes which I feel will transition from season to season. The only issue is that they feel a little tight in the toes. They are my usual size but it might be better to go up a size. Not as comfy as my other Birkenstock shoes.

I'm normally an 8 - 8 1/2, and usually order a 39 narrow for sandals which are a dream for my hurting feet. The regular width of these is borderline too wide, the narrow width a bit snug, but I think they'd stretch perfectly with time. I wouldn't suggest the narrow if you want to wear them with thick socks though. The footbed seems the same as the Birkenstock sandals I wear. However, I did not like how high up the cross strap is. I returned them due to style.

When did Birkenstocks get so narrow!? I have Foootprint from years ago that I LOVE. I wanted to get a new pair. these are like every other pair of shoes out there - NARROW. VERY disappointed

I thought this shoe would be my answer to the perfect work shoe. Nope, it's not. When you take out the provided insole it's really not much of a shoe. I use my own insole and it doesn't fit correctly. Even if it did, for the price I would not keep this shoe. The construction simply isn't there for the price.

I kept sending these back and forth with Zappos. I wear a size 39 sandal, and bought the size 40 from reading reviews. It felt a little small, so I sent it back for a 41, which was WAY too big, so I sent it back and settled for the 40 (was it REALLY too small, or was it just that I'm not used to wearing shoes with toes yet?). Unfortunately, I think it really is too small which makes me sad. The last time I wore them they RIPPED up my heels. Since I was at work, I swapped them out for a pair of black heels to wear throughout the day that were more comfortable. Maybe they just need to be broken in, though? I'm going to try wearing them around the office to see if that's the case. It seems the backs of them are angled towards the foot, which is fine for sitting, but not so fine for walking. I might see if a cobbler can make them more comfortable, but I'm pretty disappointed with these.

This is the size I wear in the Florida shoe. Way too small. Also looked like they had been worn before.
