I purchased these boots for my very active 5th grade son. He said that they are comfortable and lighter weight than the Kamik style pull on boots that he previously wore for years. The extra height is nice as he trudges through every possible snow bank. Additionally, his feet are staying dry--unless snow goes over the top of course. My son chooses these boots over many other shoe and boot options every time we leave the house. Additionally, my 7th grade daughter like the style and comfort so much that we also ordered her a pair in the same size, but in a different color combo. She too likes them so much that she is actually CHOOSING to wear boots versus destroying her shoes in the wet and snow. Another bonus was that by the time I bought hers, they had gone on sale. Great purchases all around!

I usually wear a women's 6.5W so I got these in a kid's 5 since kid's standard sizes are usually a little wider. These fit fine, but I didn't love them on. They say they are rated to -40F but my feet felt cold in them. I wore them around the house for about a half hour and they stayed cold. Living in New England I need warm boots, so I decided to send them back. I'm 5'3" and I didn't feel like these came up far enough for deep snow, but if I were just running to and from work they might have done the trick. This boot is much wider than another Sorel kid's boot I ordered at the same time that didn't fit me at all, so at least the width was right on, but sadly, not my perfect winter boot.

Awesome boot, this is our 4th year buying this style boot. Kids love them, easy on and off. True to size, definitely hearty, perfect for Michigan rain/ snow. Only ONE thing about this boot color- the color: “pulse” is NOT RED (check out the color in pic, my thumb nail is a true red). It’s an almost deep magenta. So if you’re looking for the red stripe and logo, don’t buy this particular color combo! My son was not thrilled, thankfully they had another color he loved.

These were purchased for "frost points" below-freezing Scouts adventures. After an initial pair showed up with an apparent deformity on the insole, the replacements were a perfect fit. My son proceeded to spend the entire day outside in 0-degree weather building snow jumps and a fort, without any complaints. I asked if his feet stayed dry and he said, "yes, these boots are amazing!"

Nice boots. It runs a little big, so it’s not necessary to buy a size up considering winter socks.

Excellent snow boots. My son said they are comfortable and not to heavy. They kept his feet dry and warm during the snowstorm.

Super comfortable and warm

Bought these for my 8 year old niece. She loves them and wears them all the time. The rose color is pink though some would argue it’s red. Either way it’s beautiful and well made. The toggle lace is perfect for taking on and off. I wish my Sorels were like these!

Bought for my granddaughter! No laces or Velcro, which very nice. The laces have a toggle…so no tripping over wet, loose laces!

Great looking boots, light compared to other winter boots we have tried.

First off I had to return them due to “pulse” being magenta and not red!! It appeared red on my computer and “pulse” is not distinguishing as any certain color to modt people. Can you please fix this? I must not be the only one. I had to order from a different company same pair but in a different color. This style is worth the extra expense vs the Sorel Flurry boots which are more frustrating for a kid to put on with wider sized feet. Those ended up thrown to the floor with frustration from our 7 year old. These boots have a stronger shaft that doesn’t squish down to make putting boots on a nightmare. I wish boots had varying widths like New Balance does. What do kids with wide feet do for boots? Tight boots mean cold boots, toes. Sorel really needs to sell varying widths.
