This Original 2 model has some wonderful new features; the very padded comfortable heel, the flexible forefoot, the buckle that locks. But instead of the toe ridge of the original model, there is a weird bump that runs vertically to the arch. I really want to like these, but I am debating whether or not to return them because of that bump. I loved the original wood bottom sandal and the feel crazy good version with the cushy reflexology-type bumpy footbed and I want to love these, too, but...

This is a very comfortable version of the original Dr. Scholl's. I was skeptical at first since I have always been accustomed to the original Dr. Scholl's design. But, from the first moment I tried them on, I fell in love with them. They take away the ache of my legs, even after my long workouts. They are excellent.

Comfortable foot bed, not solid wood as in the past, so much lighter. Strap adjusts by lifting the buckle, something I had to figure out on my own after a long struggle. Almost sent them back. No directions included. Previous styles had buckle that slides. Last notch is too wide. 2nd to last is too tight. Overall, these don't do much for me, not really worth the purchase price.

These are darling! I am returning my 8 for a 9 - they run a bit small. I have also worn these in the 70's and loved them. These seem much more comfortable but I miss the bump that your toes would grab on to. This new version does not have that. Wish it did! I will see how the other size fits and make a decision then. They are super cute!

Used to wear these in the 70's. Bought some a few years ago and my kids complained about the wooden soles making too much noise. Saw these and had to have them! Lovin' the 2.0. No noise and comfortable. They are still a classic!

These are very stylish, comfortable; once I got used to the hard soles again after my old ones wore out, I loved these just as before. The adjustable strap is great, as my right foot is wider. I have the black patent leather, and they are very cute and more dressy than the others. I am a size 8, and they fit perfectly. Very attractive on your feet.

Classic Dr. Scholls! I wore this shoe all the time in the 70's and I still love them. I really like the updated sole, it is lighter, softer and more comfortable. The red color is great, will go with a lot this summer.

Loved this shoe and really wanted to keep it. It is much lighter than original Dr Scholl's, but on the footbed there is a line where it goes from cushioned fabric to the man made hard plastic. That line is sharp and I can only imagine it cutting into my feet after an hour.

Love these! I was a purist and thought that these might be too different from the originals. After reading a few of the other reviews, I was worried that the toe bump would be missed. I don't miss it. These are super light, comfortable and as cute as the originals. I have a very high arch and these are probably even better in that department than the originals. I highly recommend them.

Love these! Brings back old memories. I had a pair of these in high school (35 years ago) and they were comfortable then and they are comfortable now. Love the red suede.

Can't tell you how excited I am about my new Original Dr. Scholls. Except for the styling and the exercise-roll bar, everything has been upgraded since the Real Original which I have been wearing since the 1960s. The leather is higher quality reducing break-in time to about one day. Adding hinges to the buckle was an excellent idea. Adjusting the size is no longer difficult for me - an important consideration as the leather adjusts to the width of your foot. The biggest comfort advancement is in the overall softness. The wood sole is higher quality which gives it a smooth feeling that wasn't there before. But the real improvement come from the addition of "advanced technology" padding in the sole. It's in the heel of the inner sole. There's also a layer of it between the inner sole and the rubber sole of the bottom. I've never had a more comfortable pair of sandals. Like walking on air. I started with one pair in Chincilla. Then ordered two more pairs, blue and red. Size 8 fit my 8.5 feet perfectly. Like other reviewers: I recommend adding heal taps before they wear down - just like I've always did with my earlier model Dr. Scholls.

I was so happy when I viewed these shoes online. As a young teenager, I wore these and loved them. They bring back such happy memories and I will enjoy wearing them. God bless you.

Despite not being able to adjust the buckle, the Dr. Scholl's Original 2.0 shoes are comfortable after a few weeks. Like my childhood, the strap cuts a bit at first, but the leather softens and stretches with wear. I suggest wearing with socks around the house for a few days.

Seriously suprised but these gave me two blisters on each foot after the first wearing. They are highly adjustable but that didn't help the hard plastic cutting into foot.

I would imagine most of the previous reviewers wrote their review before actually wearing these sandals for any length of time. I thought I would invest in some Dr. Scholl's sandals, after all, my mom wore hers for almost 20 years! I made the mistake of buying the 2.0. Do not do that! The sole of these shoes are a very cheap foam. The tiniest rock will get imbedded in it. The edges will fray in about two weeks. I stepped on a piece of gravel and it punctured the sole. I literally have a hole in the shoe. These are such a waste of money. I wrote to Dr. Scholl's and they refused to refund my purchase. Get the original!

I love these shoes I have a few pairs. Dissppointed after two days of wearing them the center clip popped off and have no way of repairing them. I am going to try to call customer service at Dr. Scholls since our shoe repair man can't.

When these arrived I was immediately transported back to the late '60s and '70s. I was kicking myself for having discarded my old ones (they last forever) but these are better. The heel is soft. And when you walk, they make the flip flop slap sound rather than the clog clunk. I was immensely grateful to the reviewer who mentioned how to adjust the strap; had I not read that I would have been totally baffled. It's counter-intuitive. They are very comfortable!

I forgot how wonderful these sandals are!! The fit and the color are superb! I have worn them with skirts, shorts and trousers. Comfort, style and they show my legs off. I own three pairs, however this color works with everything!

Love the fact that these are much lighter and less clunky than the original wooden sandal, but the straps feel like they have a little less padding than the original as well, and they started to dig into the top of my foot after a few hours. Also the buckle on one of the sandals jingles slightly, making me wonder if it will eventually break. Otherwise, they were very comfortable right out of the box and will be part of my summer rotation!

I was feeling nostalgic for these shoes I wore about 40 years ago, so I ordered them and like them very much. Only one complaint -- they're not made of wood like they used to be, and you can feel the difference. But they're still fun to wear in the summer for a short while. I found my feet got really tired in them and they tend to slip around, but this may be due to my older feet!

Easy, easy, easy and quick. An excellent way for old people to order their shoes. I ordered two pair Dr. Scholls old sandals and they were here within a week. Excellent source for shoes -- especially if you know your size, style and how this particular brand fits. I knew that Dr. Scholls was a size smaller than my regular so ordered accordingly.

Zappos have great service. Returned Dr. Scholl's Original 2.0 because I wanted the original original wooden soles version. My mistake was not to read the description of the item.

I bought these in the black leather just a few months ago. So far the soles have completely worn off in the heel area, and today the buckle on one sandal fell apart. I can put it back together but in 5 steps it just falls apart again. I am so disappointed. In the past my Dr. Scholl's sandals have worn like iron, but not these! They are cute and fairly comfortable once you get used to them, but considering the brand and the price, I expected to get more than a few months of wear out of them.

These sandals were so disappointing. I wanted to love them. But, they wore out within the first two weeks, with the sole and rubber bottoms wearing right through. They weren't as comfy as the originals, so if you're looking for the authentic look, just go for the original wooden sandals. These were a terrible waste of money, sadly.
