Marmot has been my "go to" for rugged outdoor clothes for many years. I've grown frustrated trying to find jeans that look good, yet are comfortable and last. Marmot is all of those things. The fabric has a bit of a stretch, but is true to size. These jeans are worn "higher" on the waist than others. I've got "soccer calves" but there is plenty of room for my legs. Very comfortable & stylish.

I finally found a jean that fits my small waist and biker thighs. I am 5'9" and 152 pounds and the 30 x 32 is a very good fit. I like the stretch in the material. Luckily the jeans don't look too worn.

I have trouble finding jeans for my 60 yo husband who is 6'4", slight belly, slim legs and long torso. Most jeans are either too tight in the waist or look like baggy old man pants...these are neither! Fit was great, look is slimming but not tight, and the material is substantial but soft. We took a trip where there was no access to a washer, these didn't stretch out of control. Also the color was perfect.

I'm very satisfied with this product and the service from Zappos. These are my first non-Levi jeans. I didn't think I'd be happy with anything but Levis. But I was wrong. The Marmot Pipeline Jeans are made immediately comfortable due to the stretch material. Because they fit well while not restricting my movements, I"ll be able to wear them to informal social events as well as on the hiking trail. Just what I was looking for.

This is my 2nd pair of these jeans. The dark color is good looking enough for a night out, but I work in these primarily. "Regular Fit" is a Modern cut but still fit me great (5'10", 175#), not too tight, never loose or baggy (which I hate!). Bend, stretch, reach - they never bind - plus the fabric really breathes so I stay cool & comfortable in the heat. Don't be worried by the light weave of the material. These wear like iron! I have 1.5 years on my first pair, and have not succeeded in abrading through them yet. They still look great. I have worn out 2 pairs of Levi's in the same time frame, prompting this 2nd Marmot Pipeline purchase. Yes, they are rather expensive. Yes, they are worth the extra coin in my opinion.

I have been looking for nice light weight jeans as I find heavy fabric cumbersome. While I like the material in these pants I find the fit way to baggy..while waist was good the seat and thigh were more designed it would seem to the baggy style favored by younger folks!
I'd also recommend:
rohan fit way better
