Love these boots! I get compliments every time I wear them out. They are comfortable and keep my toes pretty warm despite the fact that my toes are always cold. I would buy these boots again.

I absolutely LOVE these boots. We have a cabin in the mountains and these boots keep my feet dry and warm in the snow. I searched for about a year for a stylish yet warm boot and these are the ones!!!!

Where do I begin... the Boots - Love them! I wear a 9.5, but went up a half size just to be able to wear thicker socks if need be. That was a wise decision! They are even more adorable than the picture, super warm, and definitely big enough to tuck your jeans in, if you so desire! (That’s the only reason I had to return the awesome pair of Keen boots that I previously ordered - not big enough to tuck jeans in, but still an amazing boot!) Next - customer service - Unbelievable! As mentioned I had to return a pair of boots, but needed another pair as quickly as possible. I talked with a couple of customer service reps (really wish I had their names to give them big props!) and they were fantastic. They were able to offer suggestions, able to recommend some other boots, and most importantly able to get me the new boots fast. In two days, my new boots were on my feet and I was playing in cold weather! This is by far the best customer service I have ever had. It was simple to return the other boots as well. I am a HUGE fan of Zappos and have already recommended them to several friends (and strangers who just happened to love my boots and ask where I got them!) So hats off to Zappos... great product and amazing customer service. A loyal fan!

I love the boots! They’re very comfortable and fit well, but don’t have enough arch support for me. I took them to a running store to try to get an appropriate orthotic, but they still didn’t have enough support for my feet. My best fitting waterproof boot is the Keen Winthrop WP. Unfortunately, I’ll have to return the Abby’s after waiting impatiently for them to come in.

These boots are AMAZING! I have wide feet so I was skeptical, but they are perfect. Very comfortable and stylish with room for wool socks (not that you need them in these warm boots). Perfect for winter days, and great for walking around the city all day on the weekends. There is this really cute embossed flower detail on the top of the calf too which I didn’t notice until I got them. My only (very minor) complaint is that if you’re wearing them over tights/ leggings and it’s snowing, snow will collect at the top between the tongue and your shin. If they had made the top eyelet a little higher, I think it could have prevented this, but overall I love them and wear them all the time. Northface is the best and Zappos is the best place to get them!

I absolutely LOVE these boots. Love them more than UGGs. Kind of tired of seeing everyone wear those. They are super cute! I wear them, even with skirts and leggings. They look great under jeans and over skinny jeans. They fit wonderfully. I used to work at a Ski Resort and I can tell you that if you are looking for warmth, you will love these. They keep me warm. Not slippery at all. Well worth the price. They are just as good insulators as my Sorels. If you wear them ALL DAY though, the back by your ankle starts to dig in a little, but I had those suckers on for like 14 hours when this started happening.

These boots are incredible. I bought them for my daughter and I to take on a 3 week trip to Germany. We wore them every day. Sledding, skiing, touring, all in freezing weather, and our feet were never cold. My son's Gore-Tex hiking boots got soaked but these boots kept our feet warm and dry. My feet get cold very easily so I used sock liners and ski socks every day and the boots adjust perfectly to your foot and calf. I did order a half a size larger than I usually wear, and I was glad I did. Every time we wore the boots people stopped us to ask where we got them. These boots are cute, comfortable and very functional. I would recommend them to everyone. This is a pair of boots you will pull out of your closet anytime there is cold weather. Buy them!

I love these shoes! I bought the Barrel Brown color and get compliments on them all the time and random people stopping me asking where I bought them. I measure out to wear a size 9, but the size 9 in these don't allow for winter, thicker socks, so I ended up buying a 9 1/2, which fit perfectly and don't slip around at all when I wear slightly smaller socks. The 9s were just a little tighter and I don't know if they would've stretched or not, but the 9 1/2s are perfect.

These are absolutely the cutest boots, and they look better than in the picture. This is a great color. It is warm, very snug over the top of ankle and foot when sliding your foot in. I returned only because I am looking for boots to tuck in my pants, but I have large calves. The circumference not large enough for that combo. Otherwise would have kept. It's hard to return these because they were so cute. I normally wear 6.5 to 7.0, and got a size 7. These felt true to size. My foot felt like it was being hugged. It's nice.

What a lovely winter boot! This boot fits like a glove, looks terrific and every time I wear them someone asks me where I got them. The fit of the foot part of the boot is slim and if you have wide feet you will likely find them too narrow, but I have a B foot and they fit exactly right. The tops are fully adjustable and I have a very large calf and there was still lots of room. Yay! They are toasty warm, have excellent traction on snow and look and work best with pants or leggings tucked in. If you like to wear your jeans over top of your boots, these boots are not for you as the plush cuff and suede fabric will grab onto your pants and make the pant legs ride up. For hacking around the ski hill after a day of skiing, going sledding, walking in the snow or just going from car to wherever, these boots are just right. Excellent quality, fun boots to own.

In person, the tan color is lighter than in the picture. These were a great fit and they can be worn over boot cut or under wide leg pants. They are very waterproof as I've seen water bead on the boot. They are fun and very comfortable. This is a great find! Zappos customer service is top notch, too!

I ordered the ivory and they are precious. Zappos got them to me before the shipping date as noted. The boots are warm and very comfortable. Until my crocs I ordered for houseshoes arrived, I wore these around. We recently actually has some snow and freezing temps. They kepty my feet warm and dry. I wear and 8 and ordered an 8. I like wearing socks, so I have a medium thickness sock and they are perfect, maybe even a little loose. I have narrow feet. Thanks Zappos. Only question I have is that the photo on the North Face page shows this color combo as having a more grayish brown tinge. Wondering if that is just photo.

I really like these shoes, they are so cute and waterproof! They are very comfortable on the back of your calves, too (unlike my serviceable Sorels). I really like the detail seams on the toe and the back strap from the heel. Even though other writers mentioned needing a larger size, I didn't. I am an 8 1/2 in all dress and sport shoes and the 8 1/2 is a great fit. The write up on the shoes does state that they come with rawhide laces and mine did not, but that is fine with me. I also like the fact that they are not a "clunky" shoe. They are very pretty!

I am one super pleased customer! Last year I opted against (after much deliberation) winter boots and have since regretted it. I live in center city and spend lots of time walking around and when it's cold, it can be brutal. I wanted to be different than the drones of people in Uggs. And, Uggs have terrible arch support. Additionally, I have an ankle injury so I try to be extra careful when walking on uneven/slippery surfaces; these shoes have excellent treads. My requirements were waterproof, good arch support and attractive. I didn't think I could find all three traits together, but these Abby II's fit the bill 100%. They are very comfortable, warm and easy to put on (the lace up style allows you to easily fit pants in the boot or not). As for size, these are true to fit. I am an 8.5/9 and the 9's fit perfectly with a pair of warm socks. I have already received several compliments. These will be great for strolling around the city and bringing groceries home. Love them! Thank you North Face for designing such a great boot!

These boots are awesome. I can wear them all day and they don't bother me. They're warm and comfy, and they're so cute. I've worn them with jeans and with a skirt and they look great either way. I just love them. I looked at and tried on several different brands, including Merrill and Bare Traps, and these were the best for me comfort wise and style wise. I'd recommend them to anyone, because they're also practical for winter since they're waterproof. I ordered a size 9, and I usually wear and 8 or 8.5. The 9 fits perfectly! A really great buy!

Nice boot; warm and comfortable for the city. I just wanted a waterproof boot with a good sole so I don't slip over all the time; haven't had much of a chance to try it out yet as the weather has stayed warm, but the soles look good. Have had many comments on how cute the boots are. They feel a little large with thin socks on, but with thick socks fit perfectly in my usual size. I think the laces might get tricky in the wet; they look like they'll swell. And I don't know how waterproof they'll be once I step in a puddle, but certainly for low-level slush they'll be fine.

These ended up looking better in person than in the picture. I was afraid they'd have a "boat" look about them, but they're actually quite cute. They are very comfortable; they feel like tennis shoes inside. You can also loosen the laces enough to slide them on and off without having to tie/untie ever and so your jeans can tuck inside. It hasn't been cold enough to really test out the warmth/snow waterproofing, but I own another pair of North Face boots and love them, both warm and waterproof. As far as the size, I would order a 1/2 larger (I'm between and 8 1/2-9 and the 9 fits perfect or even a tiny bit small with big socks). I'm very satisfied!

These boots are great! They are warm, comfortable, and not too heavy feeling on the feet like a lot of boots. They are stylish (for snowboots) and I've gotten a lot of compliments around campus. My one complaint would be that the fur around the calf hits at sort of an unflattering point if you have thicker legs. Overall I'm very pleased, and hope that they hold up for a couple of winters.

I am wearing these boots in rope brown/barrel brown as I type this review. Barely able to stop peering down at them, I\'ve had to fix three typos already. These boots are ADORABLE. If they had cheeks, I would probably pinch them (lightly). Gosh, they\'re so cute... I just keep looking at them. If these could magically come alive I\'m pretty sure they\'d turn into St. Bernard puppies. Also, I feel like a Swedish fairy-tale heroine with these on. Random, I know, but the best way to describe these boots..\r\n\r\nI have size 9.5 narrow feet with extra long big toes, and the 9.5\'s fit perfectly with a pair of average weight gym socks. One of my big toes hits the end just a little bit, but not enough to be any sort of a bother. By the way, these make my feet look SO small! I didn\'t expect that. My feet are sweating in there right now so I doubt that more then one pair of socks would be needed, even on a severely cold January day here in Massachusetts.\r\n\r\nThe shearling is a cute touch, but you should know that the boots aren\'t shearling inside the leg shaft- only around the top and lace areas. However, the inside is padded and, as I said, my feet are really hot right now. Also, I read somewhere that they can be folded down. Nope. The upper part is too stiff to be folded down and to me looks awkward that way- I\'m leaving these babies standing tall.\r\n\r\nThey hit right below where my upper calf muscle ends, and I think I can safely say these would fit any size leg. These will look great with slimmer jeans and jean skirts with dark tights! I won\'t be hopping into any slush puddles with these on, but they seem like they\'d be okay in the snow.\r\n

Not for me, but still an awesome boot. I wanted a fun new boot for fall, and bought these. They are more of a snow boot, and I already have a pair, so I returned them. But they are awesome if you are looking for a straight up winter boot. I put them on and walked around the house, and they are like walking on clouds. I really love the look of these boots. They are modern looking, yet not the Ugg slob look. They are true to size, maybe a little on the wide side. I have a wide foot, and they fit me well. The shaft will fit wide calves, it seems to get wider at the top, but they are adjustable to any size. They are comfortable, and have good heel cushioning. One of my boots has a slight flaw (about 1/4 inch) in the stitching on top of the foot, but barely noticeable. The only inaccuracy I find is that the laces are listed as rawhide, but they are actually a cotton lace. They are super warm, and waterproof, so are good for snow. Overall it is a great boot!! I love it!!
