Terrific shoes! Great looking, comfortable for walking from the start. Would buy again without hesitation. Past experience with another style of Camper Peu shoes has been getting them soaked walking in the rain and they dried out like new- hope these will be the same.

Stylish and durable! I am a teacher and wanted a shoe that could work with a shirt, tie, and slacks and also with a pair of jeans on the weekend. Being on my feet all day for work, these shoes have been great. They feel pretty lightweight and take the abuse of a typical teaching day in stride.

The shoe is comfortable and true to size. The shoe is a minimalist shoe. There is no arch support, but that didn't bother me. The colors displayed on the website are a little deceiving; the brown upper is darker than actual and the orange is more muted than actual. I returned this particular shoe only because I kept the same shoe in a different color (Brown Nubuck).

This is my second pair of Camper Peu. They are so comfortable and durable. My last pair was worn weekly for 4 years before they started looking a bit rough. Love these!

I have bizarro duck feet that look normal at first glance, nut most shoes are uncomfortable for me. I need a wide toebox. These shoes have that which is great. The leather is soft so they fit flexibly. The insoles are not so good but I took them out and replaced them with my favorite aftermarket insole and now everything is peachy. Caution! The nubuck version is much less pliable than the regular leather version. Also, if the shoes are too loose, you can shorten the laces yourself by tying a new knot and optionally cutting the laces. But then there is no going back. But in the end I'm glad I got these shoes. There has been some sort of Peu around for a decade or more. When these wear out I may just buy another pair.

My husband loves these shoes, they're the perfect shape for his foot. You can adjust the lace somewhat for a custom fit.

Simplicity, comfort, and style are all the things that I have been looking for and found in this shoe. Too bad simple style and basic quality craftsmanship are so expensive. Aside from the price, I would recommend these to anyone who values these attributes.

Can't say enough about Camper shoes and boots. These make my third pair (still wearing all three). Amazing style and comfort. Easy to get on and off with cool lace up design. Can almost expect a compliment every time I wear them.

Super comfortable. Very thin leather upper and thin sole. Not a lot of support. More like being barefoot with minimal arch support.

Very comfortable shoes, once they're on. I can easily wear them all day with no problem. One slight criticism...I don't see a way to adjust the elastic shoelaces. I wish they were just a tad looser. My high arches would appreciate it. Plus, they're the first shoes in ages that make my feet look a bit smaller than they are.

I bought these as a gift to my boyfriend. He loved the style, the fit and finds them comfortable for a general walk about shoe. There is no arch support, though they are comfortable for walking because of the wider toe-box area. I don't think they would be the best for a full day of standing, but they are a great and stylish shoe.

These are fun, funky shoes that are very comfortable. They do seem to stretch and one should know this. They seem to have a relatively high toe box and absorp the pavement nicely. I would recommend them as an attractive, casual shoe that is comfortable to wear.

I think they are very good looking shoes that get lots of compliment, but the bottom of the shoes is just way too thin, and the front portion of the insoles are also too thin. After just a few hours of wear, the front portion of my feet had gotten cramps. Unfortunately Camper does not sell another kind of insoles that are thicker. I've tried three different Dr. Scholls insoles but they still don't help... they have perforations and you can feel the holes even with thick socks on. If your replacement insoles are not thick enough, the back of the shoes will dig into the back of your ankles. Basically, they are expensive shoes with no support. Wish I can like them more and purchased something else.

mainly took this time to review to caution my fellow walkers that this shoe is very slippery, dangerously so, on any small amount of ice on pavement. this is the main reason only 3 stars... this is the only shoe i have that has this level of slipperiness on ice. could be that the sole is more of a hard plastic instead of a softer rubberized compound which could grip the ice? the Camper boys need to talk to the Michelin XIce boys about compounds and formulations of polymers. also since the sole is sewn on with visible stitching around the sides, there doesnt seem to be a water tight seal for small puddles as others have noted, but i havent tried them in the rain yet, so also dont know if similarly slippery on water... good traction on dry surfaces it seems. it's like they were designed where it's hot and dry...spain maybe? :) just seal the stitching and use an ice grip compound for the sole, and there it is: version 2.0. awesome look, awesome fit, tho it seems to be running a full size smaller than listed. in most shoes i have a size 14 w/ room to spare, but a size 14 in this is snug w/ thin socks, and too tight w/ slightly thicker socks. good to wear w/o sox. pluses: super soft leather. good ground feel. tho probably not very protective of stepping on city debris like broken glass, rocks, nails, etc., since the soles are super thin. good to wear to the gym. elastic laces are nice but could easily be replaced w/ regular laces it seems. mine came w/ blk laces installed and blue extra, but how do you swap them w/o cutting them? who knows, too confusing. minimalist ... good, but would rather have unlined leather than with any type of fabric lining... this has a thin fabric lining in most of the shoe it seems...why? no need... see Keen Bleeckers, no longer made, alas... now that was a glorious shoe, with no lining and grip like super glue.

PROS: Simple design. Clean look. No obtrusive logos. Appears to have good materials with a lot of flex for right-away comfort. CONS: Heel-toe height differential of the removable insole is about 2mm at toe and 15mm at heel; this is relevant because that negates the "barefoot" quality that these shoes claim to have; these tilt your weight forward rather than evenly and naturally front-to-back. For my feet this put uncomfortable pressure on the balls and toes of my feet. The outsole is very thin and likely not to last long with much use.

These are men's shoes. I'm a woman. Thought I could get away with them because I like wide toe boxes and this has a thin sole, nice for hiking. (Getting 2 sizes down usually works). My slender female foot could not get these shoes on! You can't unlace them because of the shoe's auto stretchy pre-knotted lacing system. Maybe they're nice once you get them on, but I'll never know. Hate the nuisance of sending them back. For the review to count, I had to fill out other questions even though I don't know answer since couldn't get shoe on foot.
