Sit And Stay At These Dog-Friendly Hotels

Just one more pair of board shorts and you’ll be packed and ready to go. You open your dresser and pull one out, then turn around only to see Murphy, you’re adorable Puggle, lying inside your suitcase. He doesn’t want you to go. And you don’t really want to pay an astronomical fee for boarding him at a pet hotel. Or even worse, save money by taking him to that sketchy kennel your second cousin’s wife runs out of her home.

A lot of hotels now allow pets to come and stay with you for an additional, yet reasonable, price. But considering the cost of kenneling your pooch and not having him with you, it’s probably worth the spend.

A lot of these hotels are chains, like La Quinta, Kimpton and Westin, so don’t be afraid to ask hotels in other cities if they’re pet-friendly as well. Just goes to show that you can take your pet and be in the middle of all the action instead of a fleabag motel on the outskirts of town. You and your pet win! Treats all around!
