Super bummed that this cute jacket was sized so incorrectly. I had ordered a size up from my normal size L per the previous reviews. The XL fit like a medium. Be sure to order two sizes up if you are a medium or smaller. If you normally wear a large, you are out of luck as this jacket won't fit you.
I'm always an XL, size 14 but this jacket was very tight on me and was too snug for my liking. I wouldn't have been able to fit anything other than a t-shirt on underneath. The grey color of the jacket tends to show through on the pink size so the pink is a little darker. I didn't mind as I preferred the grey side anyway. Cute jacket otherwise. Flattering fit.
Cute jacket but I couldn't even zip it up. I'm always an XL, size 14 but this was super small and I wasn't even able to get the zip up. Maybe it's a teens fit and not a ladies fit? Nice jacket otherwise.
This is an edit from my previous review.
While the vest part is great, I would strongly advise against buying it for the hooded part. The zipper has come completely apart and it no longer zips on any more. Yes, it’s still a vest. And I will still wear it. But paying for the detachable hood was completely pointless
First of all, this is a misleading and incorrect description. There is NO detachable hoodie! That makes it sound like there is another fully detachable jacket - aka a "hoodie" here- there is not! What there is - is a piece of cloth that is detachable. The cloth is the gray part with the zipper that makes it LOOK like a hoodie, and that is fully detachable and the actual HOOD (not "Hoodie") comes off with it.
That is neat and all, but I've seen several jackets with detachable hoodies (full hoodies - sleeves and all) included and this is NOT one, despite the listing making it look and sound like it.
That being said, it is a comfortable jacket. It is small though. I usually wear an XL and order 1x tops and jackets because I like more room. I decided to go with a 2x in this because I wanted an oversized jacket... I'm glad I sized up because this is NOT a 2x. It's maybe a 1x... maybe. If you want roomy order up 2 sizes! At least order one size larger than your norm or you will be disappointed. The 2x does fit with sweaters, sweatshirts, etc and isn't too snug, but I'd be disappointed if I'd ordered a smaller size, despite that being my norm. So.. size up.
So, it's a nice jacket for the price, but the misleading description and small sizing might detract you. If you don't mind that - go ahead and order. I'm keeping mine, despite the flaws, because I like it well enough to actually wear it on the few days a year I need it!
It has definitely kept me warm, whether running a 5k or running errands. And I love how it looks with the zip on sweatshirt hood. My only complaint is that the zippers are extremely cheap. The main on on the sweatshirt part has come undone and also the one that attaches the sweatshirt part to the rest of the vest. I’m not very confident it will stay together much longer. Also I would size up
I have not had a chance to wear this jacket yet. However, it is really cute (the green with leopard inside). The fabric is fine. However, it runs small. I generally buy a Large in coats and jackets so they feel comfortable with sweaters and thicker material shirts. The Xtra Large fits ok, but could probably use just a little more wiggle room. I guess it is cut for a Junior size.
If you like bigger sizes you may consider looking at the compatibility of the Plus size....just a suggestion. It is a cute jacket though for early fall.
