I wear a 38 D. The band size isn't a 38. It may be a 36 but I'm thinking more like a 34 in order to be worn comfortably.

No stretch/ elastic in the bottom. The bottom hangs in the back, away from my body and it's huge. Looked like a saggy diaper. Size chart is ridiculous too as with most swim suit size charts.

Very cute top with nice accents. I did not notice the ruching in the pictures but it is a nice touch and helpful for mature figures. I prefer bathing suits that are not too low cut and this fits the bill. Glad that Zappos has Gottex products!
