Paul Smith

Paul Smith Logo
Paul Smith was born in Beeston, Nottingham. Paul had a passion to be a professional cyclist. But that changed when he suffered an accident that made him unable to pursue cycling professionally. Paul eventually opened his own shop and took tailoring classes to create what he loved. Others loved his creations as he has established himself as a successful designer loved all over the world! Over the last twenty five years, Paul Smith has firmly established himself as an innovator in the fashion world. His unwavering commitment to true, classic tailoring, married with color and texture, has become known as quintessential Paul Smith; always able to evoke classic British sensibilities with a twist of mischief and whimsical detailing.

Paul Smith shoes, clothing, sunglasses and swimwear are beautifully crafted with brilliant attention to detail. Paul Smith socks are an unexpected element of fun to any ensemble. Collections are primarily produced in England and Italy, while the fabrics used are mainly of Italian, French and British origin.

Paul Smith has an ability to anticipate and even spark off trends, not only in fashion, but in the wider context of popular culture. Paul Smith manages to transmit a genuine sense of humor and mischief mixed with his love of tradition and the classics. This is evident in the overall look of both Paul Smith shoes, Paul Smith women's clothing, Paul Smith Swimwear, and Paul Smith socks.

Paul Smith continues to be an integral part of the company; he is both designer and chairman. Paul Smith is continually involved in every aspect of the business and as a result, Paul Smith Limited retains a personal touch often lost in companies of a similar size.

Love these shoes. So comfy and cool and I love that the upper is made of recycled plastic. A step in the right direction pun intended). The multi color bolt is a perfect hue (not to bright and not too dark) and matches everything. I love these!

I wanted so badly to love these -- they're adorable -- but they are so narrow, I could barely get my foot in! I had to loosen the laces up all the way, and then they were extremely tight on the sides of my feet (the length was fine). The material is very stiff, and I think even if I gave them time to break in, they'd still be uncomfortable. Bummed to say it, but these are going back.

Amazing shoes. Took a bit to break in, but once they’ve softened they are truly amazing. The subtle red and yellow accents really make the shoe and really set it apart from other black sneakers.

Pros: 1. Style 2. Well made 3. Arch support Cons: 1. Smells like a 3rd world garbage dump fire. Took 2 weeks in the sun to air out. 2. Price. For the money, the thong straps should've been more securely integrated into the base. 3. Arch isn't in the right spot. It's sort of a generic bump. I'm hoping these will gradually mold to my feet. We'll see.
