This was a cute shoe, but the opening was not large enough to use with my AFO -- even though it's not a hightop shoe, could not zip shut around the AFO joint which sticks out at the ankle. Sadly, had to return.

The weight of the shoe was important to me as well as the stability of the shoe and this shoe has hit a home run for me. They are light enough. I have severe balance problems, and these shoes, the first in years, have made me feel safe. I like the zippers. I'm old and they make it easier. They look pretty snazzy, too. I am very pleased with my purchase. Also, your video guy was very helpful.

Bought these for my boyfriend who has issues with his left foot after having shattered his tibia and now has a rod in his leg. He loves them! Neutral color, easy to slip on with jeans and kick around town in. He's been wearing Olukai and Adidas and is thrilled to have something different to cycle through his day-to-day shoes.

(What's this?)I have worn a size 7 1/5 for years and these shoes were way too wide and way to big! they are a nice shoe and I was very disappointed that they did not fit

(What's this?)I wanted to like these, but they just look too orthotic and they did not accommodate my AFO brace, as had been suggested.

(What's this?)These were recommended as ideal for people who wear a brace. Maybe in a much larger size, but not in my usual size. A much larger size wouldn’t work for my other foot.

(What's this?)These are cute but are too small to wear with an orthotic brace, even though they were recommended for that purpose.

(What's this?)I ordered these because they were recommended for someone wearing an AFO brace, which I have to wear for the next two months. They run small, but honestly, the style was so unattractive that I knew I would never wear them.

(What's this?)Fits well, feels durable, very comfortable. The design (zipper, removable insole, wide sizes available) makes it AFO-friendly, if you wear a brace.

(What's this?)These shoes run short, so order up a half size. I was ecstatic to see that Zappos carries single shoes. I recently had foot surgery and needed one shoe in a wide width, and the other in my standard size. I've told everyone, including my physical therapist and doctor about Zappos!!

(What's this?)I am so happy with my purchase of Friendly Shoes. Due to the nature of my work I have to take off my shoes a lot and I love the convenience of it with these shoes. Definitely a game changer for me. The rubber outsole looks really solid. It's a little bit blueish (I think other people would call it completely white) and it hides the dirt perfectly. The outsole is non-slip and I can confirm that already. Taupe suede looks really nice and I am amazed with the craftmanship. I have a weird OCD on details and honestly saying, stitches on these shoes are the best I've ever seen. Shoe is a just little bit wider than I expect but that's totally ok; you can always adjust it with the laces. Maybe it's because I'm used to narrow athletic shoes and having room in these comfort shoes feels weird to me. Anyway, I can't complain because indeed I liked it. Insoles are fantastic! I am sick of memory foam, cushiony type insoles, because I feel uncomfortable with them; also my doctor told me that having solid insoles is better for the sensory feedback and prevents fall risks. Oh, and here is the best part. I am in love with the zipper. I believe, they call it Easy Shoe Access. Definitely the right term for it! It takes less than a second to take-off and put-on the shoes. Genius idea, perfect execution - beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! You can walk, even run with the zipper in open position. It holds the heel and doesn't fall off. Also it's discrete. People don't understand how I wear my shoes so fast, haha =) I can't think of any negative comment about these shoes but I'll edit my comment for sure if I face anything wrong in the future. So far, I am glad to find these shoes and probably will be their lifelong customer. I highly recommend other people to try Friendly Shoes too.

These shoes are the most comfortable pair of sneakers I have ever owned. Wore them all day and felt like I was walking on air. I love them!

I love these shoes they're absolutely life changing! I have Minimal Cerebral Palsy and a slight gate. These friendly shoes are so easy to put on… They come in amazing colors, the art support is excellent such an easy zipper to put your shoes on and off versus the standard laces. And it's beautiful with a lovely waffle design. These shoes are so comfortable to walk in a very stylish. Walking in the shoes was like walking on air literally! Thank you Friendly shoes and Zappos Adaptive??

I love how comfortable and easy to get on these shoes are. Adjusted the laces one time and now just use the easy side zipper to get on and off. This are great for anyone with arthritis or hand dexterity issues. I flex between a 9.5 and 10 for sizing. The 9.5 fit but minimal length left for my big toe.so marked as running 1/2 size smaller . I have decided to keep but want others to be aware.
