I was a little skeptical at the price for this, but I was tired of broken leaky tupperware so I took the plunge. This item really delivers. It is compact, but fits plenty of food for someone with a normal appetite. The containers are sturdy, and all fit in the thermos sleeve. The thermos fits in the bag with room for a bottle of water. The spork is also sturdy and nice. The bag is durable and the whole thing is just a really nice package.

I love my Ms. Bento! I bought it so that I would cook more food to take to work for lunch, not just buy lunch or make boring sandwiches, and it has worked! There's plenty of room for whatever I want to bring along, and although I haven't tried keeping food hot, it stays cool for hours and hours. The one thing I didn't realize when ordering is that it is a little heavy because of the thermos/insulation, but it's not unreasonable. It's easy enough for me to just put the whole thermos into my bag for work and forget about it.

Love it. This was bought for my 10 year old son who uses it on school days when my son does not like the menu. He has used it already 5 times and absolutely loves it. Yes it does take some time cleaning and preparing it for the food that you will be using but the end product is the reason why I bought this product for my son. It absolutely keeps food very hot.

bought Ms. Bento for my wife - she needed something classy and cool, instead of the regular polyester/plastic-lined lunchbox that she was carrying around. To be honest, I didn't expect much when I first got it (despite the raving reviews). Some people said that the clips are too weak, etc. It seems to me, however, that this product was very well designed and won't break anytime soon. There is a container for stuff that doesn't need to be kept hot/refrigerated (which is a nice plus), as well as a thermos-like compartment to keep food hot/cold. It's very solid and impressive overall with just enough room to fit a healthy lunch. Highly recommended!

I found the Ms. Bento to be the perfect size for a lunch and snack. The container, when prepped properly, will keep the bottom two containers very warm or cool throughout the (8 hour) work day. The carry bag is large enough to hold the Bento and a bottle of water and just tall enough for a pair of chopsticks. The Bento is a great for those working on portion control. It can carry just about any kind of lunch, from fajitas to pizza (cut up into bite sizes), to soups and trail mix.

This is a great product. It has totally released me from the microwave line on my crowded floor. My lunch is still hot 5 hours later. I preheat with boiling water. It is compact and easy to care for. I highly recommend this product if you are trying to eat a healthy lunch each day.

Oh, for goodness sake, this lunch jar set is just pure awesomeness! I ran across this item by accident and, on reading the rave customer reviews, ordered it for my husband. No more mismatched tupperware for meatloaf and stew lunches! Surprisingly, you can fit enough food in its three containers to feed a grown man a substantial lunch. This product has exceptional design and craftsmanship to the very last precise detail. If not for the Japanese name, I would swear it was German made. Very impressed by its quality and workmanship.

I was searching for a way to get a hot lunch to school for my two girls. I tried several less expensive brands but none of them kept the food warm until lunch. This set does! The bag is even big enough to squeeze in their insulated beverage container as well as a little surprise. Only fault I can find is that it would be nice if the biggest container fit on the bottom to further separate it from the items I pack on the top that do not need to be kept warm. Solid construction. I have only had minor leakage one time and that was probably my fault for not screwing the lid tight enough. Expensive but it delivers!

Best lunch box out there - definitely worth the money spent. I bought the Mr. Bento for my middle schooler (she leaves the house at 7 am and doesn't get home until 5:30), and the Ms. Bento for my 3rd grader. Both are great, but I think I prefer Ms. Bento. The top container has a divider that you can use or not use; adding a little more versatility. (The Mr. Bento has two upper containers and often a bit too much space for the things I fill it with.) Basically, I either fill the main container with ice and stick it in the freezer while I prepare the separate lunch containers; or fill it with boiling water - depending on if it's a hot or cold lunch. By the time I am finished filling the containers with food, I empty the "main container" and place all the food containers inside and close. So far, my daughters have never needed to reheat their lunch; although they can at school if needed. I have packed hot soup and pot-stickers with rice, etc.; everything is still nice and warm (maybe not hot) but warm by lunch. It takes a little more time to really plan out the meals, since you really can't combine hot and cold (like soup and salad); but we make do. My kids have also ditched the bags that came with the Bento's for slightly bigger bags that have room for a big water bottle and protein bar. Also, a bit of a pain (but worth it), when they come home, I fill the sink with hot soapy water and wash all the containers by hand. (Even though the containers are dishwasher safe, the lids aren't and I just prefer to clean plastic by hand and put away so it's ready for the next day...that's just me!) All in all, hot or cold lunches are more fresh and kids and adults will eat more when the food is fresh. We no longer need to use plastic bags (we were using at least 4 a day between two kids). My kids are eating healthier foods; the Bento just inspires healthier choices. Also the company has been great when my daughter lost her fork spoon; I ordered a new one direct from Zojirushi. I highly recommend the Mr or Ms. Bento...and can't see ever going back to a traditional lunch box again!

I scored big points with my wife with this perfect size Lunch Jar. I made her lunch the night before and handed it to her when we were both out the door to work. She called me several times during the day saying all the things us men want to hear from the love of our lives. The bag isn't huge and fits into her main bag which she really likes. Her girl friends at work think it's so cute and the thought of me surprising her with it went over very well. An unexpected gift at an unexpected time!

I researched for the right "lunch box" and found a great reviews for the Zojirushi for the Mr & Ms Bento. For this reason, I bought the Ms. Bento for my daughter who started preschool a month ago. Best investment made. A little pricey (cheapest at Zappos) but worth every penny as it keeps the food hot in the stainless steel jar. The containers inside stayed hot for 5 hours so far but can be microwavable which I haven't found the need to yet. Great sizes to fit all kinds of food. Plus a bag that carries it all. A very smart product.
