How wonderful to have fresh bread regularly baked right at home. The size of the loaf is perfect for two people. I substitute extra virgin olive oil for butter in the recipes with excellent results. I really appreciated Zappos' quick shipping.

I wanted a smaller size breadmaker since my kids left the nest and that way I could always have fresh bread, no leftovers. This one meets my standards, plus it is very silent. I tried the 2 hour baking and it did not come out as I would have liked. So I tried the normal setting (3 1/2 hours) and it came out perfect in size, form, flavor and softness, but before preparing it, I had my yeast stored in the refrigerator, for I read it helps get better results. Love this machine. The DVD and booklet are very handy and help when in doubt. Since I live in the tropics where there is a lot of humidity, it stated to reduce a little the amount of water to compensate. I would recommend this mini regardless of the price.

I had my old Breadmaker for 10 years and when it (finally) broke I did some research and bought this. I bought it from Zappos because I knew I'd get it the quickest and sure enough it came the next day. Love Zappos! It's quiet, easy to carry and doesn't take up a lot of space. Most recipes out there are for 1.5 to 2 pound loaves so tweaking was a challenge but well worth it. I bought a Zojirushi rice maker years ago after running through a bunch of cheap ones. Great brand.
