I am very happy with these shoes. This is actually my second pair of Zengaras. I have a pair in tan and I was very pleased with them. When it came time to buy a new pair of black loafers, I stayed with them. Their shoes look great, hold up very well and truthfully, I can't believe they are so inexpensive! I also like the fact that the heel has a rubber base which helps absorb impact. I'm already a repeat Zengara customer and I would buy from them again in a heartbeat. And, of course, there isn't any better place to buy shoes than on Zappos.

I wrote the review below about one month ago and I wanted to update it. I\'m still a big fan of the shoes and I would buy them again, but the low low price has begun to become evident in the sole on the heel. It has worn down very quickly and will need replacement. It\'s barely been six weeks (if that) but even with the cost of the heel replacement, it\'s still a very attractive product.

Bought these Zengara loafers through Zappos a few months ago. The shoe is very stylish, durable, and comfortable. The unique leather smell is quite distinct at first but it does fade in a few weeks of wear. A great bargain for the price!

I've been wearing this shoe every day for about a month now. It is a very stylish shoe but it does lack support. After a few hours I begin feeling some pain in my heel. I still like the shoes but if you have to do a lot of standing, I would invest in a different pair.

Best pair of shoes I have ever bought. They lasted me well over a year. The leather lasts a long time, but the heel wears out quick. If I had put a better heel saver, then they would have lasted me way longer. I liked them so much, that I went online to find the exact same kind so I can buy them again.

Soles wear very fast. Within a month and a half (I am on my feet all day at work) no tread left on bottom. Just flat rubber. I would recommend spending a little more money to get a shoe that lasts a longer.

Agree with the other reviewers that the heel wears very quickly. Not only that, in three months, the heel separated from the sole. Fixing that would cost so much more that you're better off purchasing a more expensive shoe that'll last a long time. The leather uppers were just fine. I bought two -- one was a lace up and the same thing happened to both. I work in an office and alternated them 5 days a week. Not worth the money.

These look great and are comfortable to wear at first. My only complaint is the poor ventilation on the insoles. Can't keep them on for more than an hour or so!

Theses shoes have a loud, hard heal. They felt a bit chunky in the heal also. They look ok, but the heal wore out quickly and is really loud on hard floors or concrete pavement.

Looks great at first but breaks down quickly, leading to a poor look and finish. Upper is hard, takes a few wears to break in and is a little painful at first.

For the price, these shoes are pretty comfortable. They have a cheap look to them at first, but when you break them in they look like any other shoe you'd wear to work. I recommend them.

Shoes look great, fit great, but had a very strong odor! Smelled liked they were stored in a smokehouse! We had to air them out in the garage with dryer sheets! Would've returned them but didn't have time before the event we ordered them for.

The smell is strong right out of the box, but it does go away with time. These are very comfortable shoes and look great.
