Great looking shoes -
They look great with light/ash white blue jeans and a white or light grey t-shirt. They feel a half size loose, but that's how I like to wear my shoes. They are lightweight and very comfortable. Picture doesn't do it any justice. You've got to see them in person for yourself.

Handsome, comfortable... but broke in 3 months -
The left leather strap where it meets the base of the sandal broke. Zappos was great and offered an immediate return - unfortunately they were not in stock or I would have got them again

Love the boot! Looks great with jeans or slacks. The soles are a bit slick between the rubber inserts, but that can be fixed with a trip to the drugstore. The pictures show the boot exactly, very pleased with them. The fit is a little narrow in the toe if you are not used to this style, but after the first walk, everything felt fine.

Nice looking, but…
I agree with the reviewer from New York. The strap over the arch has sharp edges that dig in and the toe piece also has a sharp edge on the front and does not feel comfortable between the toes. I do like the appearance and the design does keep the sandal from moving around much on the foot compared to most thongs.

Cool shoe! Need better arch support and lower price.
I bought these shoes for my teenage son (sand color) and they became his favorite pair of shoes. He has worn them out, so I am buying him a second pair. The only complaint he has with the shoes is the lack of an adequate arch support.

Great Shoe!
Great looking shoe, first day I wore them I received several comments about the shoes. Looks somewhat dressier, but can be worn with shorts and jeans. As always with Zappos, fast shipping and overall good service.

Good-looking shoe -
I bought these shoes for my boyfriend and he looks great in them. He is not usually a sandal wearer but agrees that they are nice to wear in the summer. He likes the closed look of them and says that they are very comfortable. I think that the shoe looks well made but I'm not sure how long the velcro strap will hold up and look good, but so far they've been great.

I love the look of these shoes, but I wore them 3 times before the toe had a hole worn in them. I wasn't jogging or walking more than normal in them, the leather they are made with is just of poor quality. I wouldn't recommend them if you are looking for a shoe that will hold up for more than two or more uses.

Cool shoes -
I just bought these shoes. I found the opposite to be true, they run small especially if width is a concern. I normally wear a 12, but luckily Nordstrom sold me a 13 for the left foot and a 12 for the right. I’m a "normal" size 12 leaning toward wide. These shoes are narrow so be aware! I had my 12 stretched and still need to break it in some in the toe area. They are MUCH longer in the toe area than they appear.

Shoe looks great but when I received the size 14; it fit like a 15 and possibly 16. Hopefully a manufacturing or label error but beware.

I have these in brown. I plan on buying the black ones today. These shoes are so comfortable. I work in busy grand central New York. So running around the crowd is an every day task. You won’t feel the sidewalk using these shoes as I did with the Bostonians. I gave my Bostonians away since they hurt my feet and bruised them for awhile. So I made the switch. You can wear these with jeans as well. I will always buy the Exel shoe from Steve Madden. You should always take care of your feet. Don’t be stingy. Your feet are taking on all of your weight, so treat your feet for once in awhile.

They wore out in two weeks -
There is something funny with these shoes, they may be sized small. There are holes in the toes of both shoes after two weeks of use. I've never had this happen before. They initially felt tight, but after a few days, seemed to stretch out some. Other than the holes in the toes, these shoes looked great.

Perfect out of the box - The shoes take no breaking in and are so comfortable. I like a shoe that has a lot of support for the heel and these do the trick. My feet are not tired at the end of the day and I do a lot of walking. Really nice pair of shoes – no complaints.

An update to my previous review. I took these sandals to Greece as my only pair of daytime walking/hiking sandals and they were amazingly comfortable. They dried pretty quickly after being in the water with them. One thing to note is that the soles are somewhat thin, especially compared to Chacos. So when you are walking on rocky uneven terrain you tend to feel a lot of that through the soles. I wish I would have had my Chacos to compare in these situations. It certainly wasn't a huge deal or uncomfortable, but just something to consider. Other than that I had no comfort issues with 2 weeks of straight daytime wear. I highly recommend these sandals. I just wish they came in a few more colors. I normally wear a 9-9.5, but had to order a 10 in these.

I love these shoes. They're the perfect compliment to my wardrobe. I don’t wear them every day. Not sure I could. But I do wear them often (twice a week). The only issue with comfort is that they get too tight at the top of the shoe where it laces up. It makes my feet swell a little. Otherwise I've received many compliments and looks. Being stylish requires you to sacrifice comfort sometimes.

Looks great, feels great... poor construction -
I love these boots. They look good, broke in quickly and match with anything I can throw at them from my wardrobe. HOWEVER, after one week of light wear BOTH shoes started making this creaking noise. Both heels started to separate from the sole. I took them to a shoe repair place and they started creaking again so I have just come to live with it, but I won't wear them to the office. NOW the grip on the front part of the sole is falling off. Maybe I got a lemon? For the price I expected better quality.

A surprisingly great walking shoe! These look a LOT nicer than in the photos. The canvas has a good 'weathered' appearance, but they are VERY well made. They don't have a lot of padding anywhere (great for summer) yet they still manage to be incredibly comfortable. They even look fairly decent with no-show socks and shorts, sort of like a bicyclist’s racing shoe. Very unique, I've gotten lots of compliments!
