These shoes are awesome, I stand on my feet for 8 hours at a time and it takes about a year and a half for them to break down. I work in a casino behind the tables and stand in the same spot all night. I used to wear sneakers but had to replace them every 8 weeks or so. Now I only wear DOCS!

The only complaint I have about these otherwise excellent boots is that the tongue on one of the boots seems to be defective (it tilts toward the outside of the boot instead of running straight up and down); this resulted in uncomfortable wear for the first week or so until the boot was broken in. Otherwise a nice steel toe for daily wear.

These are great looking shoes. I like the detail of the stitching and taupe accents. It looks great with jeans. They hold pretty well too and appear to be constructed very well. Pretty comfortable for a sneaker/shoe. Very happy with this shoe! My only gripe is that cleat traction behind the heel would once in a while snug on my longer pair of jeans.

I live in the mountains at 8400 ft. Snow and cold come and go. From slush to freezing ice these boots are the best. Snowmobiling, snowshoes, hiking, and even working outside for 14 hours a day my feet stay warm and dry. I ordered a pair for my wife because she needed lightweight, dry and warm. She jumps in and out of helicopters as a flight nurse in deep snow and extreme conditions. She loves her Summit County boots, too!

I ordered these slippers because they look amazing. I love my Sanuk sandals and I wanted a pair of slip-ons for the house. I ordered a size 8 for my size 7-7.5 foot and they were snug at first, but since the "fluff" has matted down, they fit almost a bit loose. Exactly what I wanted though. Easy on, easy off. These slippers are very well made, unlike some of the complaints I have read. I am very pleased with my purchase.

These are awesome and hot looking and feeling like new Ked's you had at age 6! Remember the bounce? But like Ked's they are also flat footed so if you want to use a sport insert for better arch and comfort buy a half size larger. They run smaller, I wear an 8 but the 8.5 would've been just perfect right-on fit. But they are fine. Color is cool true to advertisement. Zappos is awesome. I got them fast and right size was delivered. I have a fabulous looking motorcycle where these shoes look even hotter, and by the way I am a girl! Enjoy the Carson's by True Religion!

I had a pair of Docs like this in college and I got 7-8 years out of them, so I searched in stores but couldn't find this style. I heard about Zappos and searched for Docs and something like 150 styles popped up. The quality of these shoes can't be beat. They took a couple of days around the ankle to break in and be comfortable, but for an everyday shoe for me, this is it. Very high quality and even though they seem expensive (compared to a $50 pair I recently bought and got 6 months out of), the lifetime cost is minimal.

I have purchased Rugged Shark shoes in the past and have been very pleased with the quality, comfort and fit of the shoes I have purchased. Rugged Shark Atlantics are very comfortable and a good value along with looking great. As a boater I appreciate the sole design which works well.

Great shoe, very well put together. Everyone was asking where did I get 'em and also who were they made by. The shoe is very comfortable, stylish, lightweight and really unique. I haven't worn a gym shoe in some time now, but these got me re-thinking. Ordered the shoe and it was at my door the next day as always. This is my 15th shoe from here and I'm never happier.

The first mistake I made was not purchasing the boot from Zappos. That won\'t happen again.\r\n\r\n My experience. This boot is by far the most uncomfortable boot I have ever worn. After the first wearing, I purchased a pair of insoles thinking they would make a difference. They didn\'t. Boot still the same.

I actually have a return label for these shoes from back in April. Then one day my lace up steel toes were too muddy, so I stuck these on. They were tough to break in, but now they are one of my favorites. I still have a little trouble with my fat toes and any steel toe shoes, but these are nice and long lasting shoes. Been about six months and only a little rubber at toe cap is coming lose, rest of shoe is perfect condition.

I purchased the Carhartt 6" Black Leather Direct Attach 4 months ago and they completely fell apart. I'm a construction worker and they did not last at all. They fell apart on the seams and the soles are falling off. They are comfortable, but don t last too long. I do not recommend them if you are hard on your boots because these will not last.

Very happy with these boots. I\'ve had them about a month now and they are nice and broken in and very comfortable. I normally wear a size 11 or 11 1/2 so I bought the size 12 and they were a little big on me, but after I added some of those gel workboot inserts and Dr. Scholl\'s heel stops (I had to use Shoe Glue to get them to stick), the boots fit much better. I also wear nice thick cotton socks that I bought at CostCo, which helps, too. But overall I am very satisfied with the style and comfort, and they provide more than adequate arch support. Very satisfied, and of course Zappos\' free overnight shipping and great customer service can\'t be beat.

These are great boots. I got them instead of Dr. Martens, which I\'ve been wearing for years. I was just fed up with the decline in Dr. Marten\'s quality throughout the years (Docs wouldn\'t last a year without some tear in the leather occurring). I\'ll have to see how well my Bates fare after a year, but my initial impressions are very positive. I love the lace to toe design because it allows a more custom fit feel. The Dura Shock soles are very nice for walking; they seem to propel you forward while walking. The Gore-Tex lining is nice for the security of waterproof footwear, but they can be hot sometimes (the reason for 4 stars on comfort). As for sizing, I found the Bates to run at least a half size big. They are also wider than I\'m used to, especially in the heel. I would have gone with the narrower width if it was sold on Zappos. However, I added an insole and I am satisfied with the fit.

Beautiful shoes, but the stitching between the shoe and the tongue protrudes and hurts my feet when worn. Everything else about the shoe is great, but I cannot recommend a shoe that is painful to wear.
