These are amazingly soft and comfy slippers. I wanted something in a boot but not Uggs or anything that look like Uggs. These are perfect. If you are an 8.5, order the 8. You will have plenty of room. I left 1 star off because the padding in the footbed could be better; when you first get them they are very cushy, but after a week, it's flattened significantly. These are lined with super soft fleece all the way through and will keep your feet super warm.
